Great selection and sales, no help at fixing problems though. Got exam at Tysons location, purchased glasses in Clarendon. When I tried on my new glasses, I immediately commented they were too strong. I was told to "wear them for a while, and if I dont adjust, then come back." I did just that, but was told to return to the location that did the prescription (Tysons). The Tysons location just tells me the same--Not our responsibility, go back to the other location. At this point, Im a busy guy and dont have time to drive all around NoVa in rush hour traffic (my bad). I let a couple months pass before I get around to fixing this. Now Im told, you had to do this within a month, or we are not liable for the lenses, BUT come get a new exam. I have to really pry further for them to tell me No, a new exam will not fix your old glasses. After that, plus having trouble getting my calls returned, and being told other inconsistent info about what contacts are available, ship times, and when the doctor is in--I will look elsewhere in the future.

Update Update: After a little hassle, they wrote a prescription with the correct PD on it and signed by a doctor. They came through. The people that work there are nice. Ill probably go back if I need anything in the future. Update: So I went back in and saw another doctor and my prescription was confirmed. However, the PD distance was wrong. Way off. 32/32 was the one they gave me the first time, actual measured by a saleswoman was 36/39. They gave me an updated paper but the doctor didnt sign it so I cant send it online to correct. I talked to the call center woman for myeyedr and she wasnt able to send me an email with instructions. I sent one to her and she was able to reply with HIPPA release. Sent to clarendon. I also called clarendon and she had email said she would send back prescription.. waiting.... Believe all the negative reviews. I had my prescription taken very quickly. I sent I bought glasses online with prescription waiting 10 days to get glasses. I put them on and I cant see. Im seeing another doctor.

I was about to write a better comment but their customer service is really bad...... and the craftsmanship doesnt equal to what you paid. I bought a pair of designer branded sunglasses from them. However, their stuff scratched my frame. Thus, they replaced another one for me which is good. After 3weeks no one ever reach out to me until I asked where is the new frame. I went there again and they made another scratches on the new frame. The stuff agree to replace another one for me. Finally the 3rd frame came last week. it GOT SCRATCHED AGAIN. This is extremely frustrated! the whole process took me almost 2 months! Their stuffs are sometime nice sometimes treat you like sxxx. When they feel happy, they serve you. When they dont, they just ignore you. I have met 2 stuffs there are very nice people(one is Mary and the other one is chalse). However, the rest of them, they still have a lot of space to make improvements. Buy cheap glasses from here is fine, but for designer brands, you probably want to go somewhere else.

Making an appt was easy and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I think theres been a change in staff because my experience wasnt anywhere close to what the 1, 2, or 3 star commenters were indicating. Price wise it is up there but then again youve got to consider this is a franchise with business expenses which also provides top designer eye wear with verified, certified and experience optometrists at your service. If you prefer a cheaper place, usually non franchise eye doctors will be able to accommodate. But if youre looking for quality all around definitely come by this location.

There was a difficult snafu with the lab with one of my pairs of glasses, but the team at this store deserves five stars for their customer service. They were on it. Freddy, the manager, was really helpful. And the rest of the team were polite and responsive. Things dont always go perfectly in business, but the real measure of a business is how they handle things when something goes wrong. And this team deserves 5 stars for that--no question.

Quite possibly some of the worst service that I have ever received. I purchased prescription sunglasses from this location nearly three weeks ago and they are still not ready even though I was told they would only take a week. The store never contacted me with any updates and each time I called, I was given a different answer as to the status of my glasses. Will never use this or any Myeyedr location again.

Yeah, this place has terrible customer service. Took three-four times to make an appointment, tried to get my prescription emailed to me and its taken several days, still no luck after contacting them via email and phone. Customer service representatives put me hold for a solid 30-45 minutes before I hung up. Luckily I moved into DC and will be avoiding the MyEyeDr in the future.

Great service, the Dr (I assume John Auyeung) was great and examined me for new contacts and my first progressive lenses. There was some confusion when I went to pick up my glasses after being told they had come in; at first they were supposedly backordered, but the specialist kept digging around and it turned up they had come in after all. Everyone was professional and helpful.

I went there for a prescription update for my glasses a few months ago. They were friendly and quick. Today Im at a competitors store trying to get my prescription. They are making this process frustrating. It took 25 minutes to receive the release form. I signed and sent it back within 5 minutes. 40 minutes later and two phone calls later, Im still waiting.

The staff gives you double vision because they are incapable of attention to detail. Each time Ive gone there, theyve mixed my order, kept me there an hour longer than expected, and has required me to go back and try again. I dont have double vision, unless I go to this eye store. They are really nice about their incompetence though.

Love MyEyeDr. I recently lost my job and vision insurance when my glasses broke I half. I had purchased the extended warranty, but was outside it about a month. Hoping for some mercy on their part, I went in and talked with the assistant manager. To my surprise and delight he covered my glasses. Im never going anywhere else.

Waiting over 2 month on pair of glasses their excuse is that they sent back because they did not pass inspection. The price is overpriced will never go back. Please inspect your glasses they tried to give me used glasses with scratches on two different occasions. I am done with them will never do business with them.

I ordered prescription sunglasses from MyEyeDr 2 months ago and still havent gotten them yet. The first time they did not pass inspection and were recalled and the second time there was a breakage on the lens so they were sent back to be remade. Nothing has been done from MyEyeDr to make up for this inconvenience.

1. Customer service horrible. 2. I went there for contact lenses. 10 days later, I wen and they gave my contact lenses only for my right eye. A week later, they gave my lenses for the left eye. 3. They gave me the boxes without bag, without liquid to clean my lenses. 4. That place is a mess.
