The exams were smooth and so was the paperwork and everything else, even setting up pickup. That is except this one thing that drops it down to (what would be 4.5 if I could give half on here) but I cant and so it is only 4 stars. The red-haired saleswoman that helped me choose frames was somewhat, if not, very pushy with the help she was giving me and variety. Not only, did she tell me to just sit like I was an invalid and NOT direct me to a row that my insurance actually took and let me get up and look at them, but she even insisted with huge amounts of pressure that I only choose from one of the three, despite me finding only one slightly less atrocious and more bearable than the the other two. Yet, at the same time I could not see myself ever picking something so gaudy and to me what she referred to as "trendy" about it made me think about an old painted and faded pot in grandmas kitchen that had seen its years been and gone! The plastic blue around the front of the lenses was to me their ONLY redeeming factor! The earpieces were metal and looked like they had one of those old stretched and distorted and faded designs of a larger image that was shrunk down to be scanned onto a smaller object without the image being properly resized. Only this time that shrinked design looked chipped as it was an image of what I could only guess was supposed to be blue and gray flowers from a larger image that someone shrunk down like a paint-by-numbers or something and painted it onto the metal ear piece or used some machine to scan it on them but where ink or maybe thread may be used traditionally in such processes they somehow how rigged it to use what looked like pastels, so it turned out all fuzzy! I insisted on her allowing me to get up and look at what others are actually covered by my card as the few on the wall opposite the counter I did were not and she just pushed the three she brought, one mostly black but with an odd undertone of a yellowish color and no real design and the other no notable design in the plastic around the lenses but the plastic earpieces had a slightly distorted cheetah printing. I guess, she was solely going based on what I was wearing at the time (at thin gray sweater, dark blue and grayish washed jeans, gray boots) and my blue eyes for her reasons to push them on me and she also called them "trendy" but all I could see that she referred to as "trendy" were those distorted flowers on the earpieces and the only redemption about them that may have been slightly been "hip" or "trendy" was the multi-toned and solid blue plastic around the lenses! The only thing pushing it to a 4.5 and not just leaving it at 4 was that someone answered before 10AM when they are supposed to open and made a note to only call me when they are ready, as for some odd reason my phone has trouble getting texts from places that are sending me reminders and what not unless they are old ones that are for some reason still sending me them and I told them to stop long ago and they wont.

TodayI had the most wonderful experience during my visit. First, Gabby did my three exams and then dr Ibrahim did my eye exam. He was fantastic, very considerate about my neck problem and suggested special progressive reading glasses that would not make me move my head up and down too much. The cherry on the cake was Jose. Right at my arrival he saw me looking at he frames. I told him all about my neck problems and about my priorities when it comes to he frame. He found a bunch of beautiful frames while dr. Ibrahim was doing the exam. They were all e a toy what I asked for and I was able to chose one. Jose was extremely pleasant during the whole measuring process and it was just so nice to feel very special and appreciated as a customer. I will recommend this branch to all my family members and friends. Thank you for making my morning very special. I will be back at your place for my next pair of glasses. P.S. I used my own frame for the second pair and I did not experience any attitude or convincing to get a frame from them. They actually complimented my old, very old frame that I just cant giv up.

Great environment and staff... Dr. Ibrahim was funny, very informative of my specific situation , and crafty at making tissues disappear before your eyes. Lol... Mr Firouzi (manager) was excellent and patient in the process of helping me find the most cost efficient deal on the services and products provided. I am a long time client of MY EYE DOCTOR , and have to say this location and staff are of the top quality expected of the franchise . Keep up the good work, and the complimentary shades are working great for the breaking weather....Thanks for everything, you all are awesome

Came for my eye exam in Aspen Hill, Silver spring. Made an appointment the same day I was seen. Dr Ibrahim was my Doctor, he was nice and funny. He made some magic tricks to set the mood and went on with the visit! Jose, then after, assisted with my frames. He was great, helpful, and very professional. Over all I was welcomed and greatly satisfied with my visit

Received a rushing exam, and incorrect prescription. The salesman gave an attitude when I decided to not get the frame from them. He ends up typing my prescription incorrectly. All they care is getting as much money from your pocket as possible. They arent even deserve 1 star. SO DONT COME TO THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR EYES AND YOUR POCKET.

Quick and easy eye exam. I was in an out in under an hour and the customer service of the employees was great. One guy asked me if Id been helped (which I already had, theyre fast!) and as I was putting on my sunglasses to head out, another offered to tighten the screws on my frames and polished up my lenses for me.

The staff here provided excellent customer service. Walt was able to save me on pricing on prescription, and Dr. Ibrahim was so friendly while providing me answers to any questions I had. He was thorough and did not rush through my exam. The staff here is always engaging and polite.

I am always pleased with how quickly Im out of there with exactly what I need. They are quick but you dont feel rushed. The staff and optometrists are all very nice and professional. I wear contacts and they give you the option of mailing them to your home (very convenient for me).
