BEST eye doctor experience ever and HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your children here! I have seen eye doctors for 17 years (since I was a young child), and never had a more positive experience than with Dr. Espejo. He helped me figure out that a life-long vision problem I have had was convergence insufficiency. I have complained of the disorders characteristic symptoms since I was a child, AND NO OTHER DOCTOR INVESTIGATED OR DIAGNOSED ME CORRECTLY. I have always just gotten glasses and been sent on my way. Dr. Espejo figured it out on his own (I had stopped complaining of my symptoms, such as feeling like I could never see properly or read without being exhausted or the words moving on the page). When he showed me what it was like to actually have my vision converge properly and read things, I cried I was so happy. It was like wearing headphones my whole life and then having someone take them off, allowing me to hear properly. If I had been diagnosed when I was younger I could have gotten much better, but Dr. Espejo is helping me with some special reading glasses. I wish some other doctor had figured it out! This was a wonderful experience.

It is certainly reassuring in todays fast changing, information-laden world to feel that in the arena of health care, one has made the right choice - and for over the last sixteen plus years - I have had this security in Dr Louis Espejo. He has consistently provided excellent suggestions for my eye care, based on meticulous review and careful attention and questioning during my eye examinations. I have over the years observed that he constantly shares new research findings - and discusses and suggests possible treatments solutions for a variety of conditions. This sense that my doctor is constantly upgrading his skills and knowledge - is particularly important to me, and especially in the vital area of eye care. I have also been pleased at the standards he has obviously set for his office and staff - who have been long-serving, always pleasant and interested in offering assistance.

I have been a patient of Dr. Espejo for many years. He has always been friendly and taken the time to talk to me about my eyes, introduce me to new contact lens technology and to make sure I leave seeing better than when I came in. After I had a poor experience with another eye doctor, I returned to Dr. Espejo who corrected a misdiagnosis of my eyes and wrote me a new eye prescription. I went from being very unhappy with my previous rx to seeing at 20/20 (if not better). Moreover, he switched me to a new brand of contact lenses -- ones which ended up being substantially more comfortable. Dr. Espejo has proven to me time and again how knowledgeable he is in his field. When my dad needed to see an eye doctor, I recommended Dr. Espejo. My dad has since continued to go to Dr. Espejo over the years and has told me how happy he has been with the service of Dr. Espejo and his staff.

Everyone here is kind, helpful and professional. My previous eye doctor of 10 years moved his clinic to Virginia so I was looking for a new place to get my eye exams and contacts. I called around the Rockville area and booked an appointment here. The eye doctors here are incredibly kind and patient and answered every question I had. I felt very comfortable the moment I walked in. Their prices are fair and they always have a promotion for contacts (ex: free contacts for a few months when you buy a years supply plus free eye cleaning solution). I had a few issues with my eyes and when I asked the doctor about it he answered everything and even emailed me more information. I definitely recommend Dr. Espejo!

Dr. Espejo has been providing our family with excellent eye care for more than 18 years. We have had wonderful results from our association including 3 kids getting lasik (or similar) surgeries all with great results. All were under Dr. Espejos watchful eyes (though he did not perform the procedures he pointed us in the right direction for each of them) . As the adults in the family my wife and I have also had excellent care for both glasses and contacts. We have enjoyed working with him and want everyone to know if you are looking for an eye care doctor you will have found a fine one here.

Dr. Espejo is great! I have convergence excess, which results in my having to work very, very hard to focus on things because my eyes want to cross. Ive been wearing glasses for 25 years and it wasnt until about 3 or so years ago when I went to see Dr. Espejo that my condition was diagnosed. Hes been slowly adding prism to my prescription every 9 months or so, in order to ensure that I can get used to the changes, and each time its increased its like Im looking at a whole new world.

My wife has been going to Dr. Espejo for years and always spoke highly of him. I finally went myself to purchase new glasses, and I cant recommend it highly enough. He is very friendly and personable, as is the staff at this LensCrafters location. Exam and glasses order took less than an hour (already knew what frames I wanted). Dr. Espejo was very thorough in explaining everything during the exam, including retinal scans. Ill be going to him from now on for all eye care needs.

I have been seeing Dr Espejo for over 20 years and would highly recommend him to anyone. He is very thorough and takes his time to get your eye prescription just right.
