A friend of mine recommended Dr. West to me and since I live near Courthouse it couldnt be more convenient. I was a new patient but was able to get an appointment within 7 business days of my call. The office staff is friendly and my appointment started right on time. Dr. West performed a very thorough evaluation of my vision and eye health, and I was pleased that he carries my preferred brand of contact lenses in stock and in my prescription, so I was able to leave the office with a years supply. He and the gentleman at the reception advised me about a rebate that is currently running on my brand of contacts, saving me $65, which was nice. I will definitely return yearly to see Dr. West as long as I am living and working in the Courthouse area.

I have been going to the office of Dr. West for over 20 years and I have had nothing but positive experiences with Jerry and Glen. They are both class acts, and like another post stated, that they never try to up-sell anything. They always will try to find you the best deal for you and no matter what, will have you in mind when making recommendations. Jerry has always been very honest and Glen will make the insurance process a breeze. I live in Centreville now so getting to their office is not convenient for me anymore but I will not go elsewhere regardless of my living situation in the DC Metro Area. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Dr. West is the best optometrist in the Clarendon/Courthouse area! I came to Dr. West after I got ripped off at My Eye Doctor up the street and wont go to anyone else as long as I live in the area. Dr. West provides very professional service, has extremely helpful and friendly staff, and is always on time with his appointments. Dr. West also provides a very quick turnaround time for contacts/glasses and will have them ready for you in a matter of a few days. I highly recommend Dr. West... you will not be disappointed!
