When I made my appointment, I was confirmed with Dr Vo, who wasnt even in the day of my appointment. When I walked in, I wasnt even greeted by the receptionist as I walked up to her desk. I had to ASK her myself if I needed to sign in. I ended up seeing Dr Bieber. I was only in to have an annual eye exam to renew my Rx for my contact lenses, but I wanted to try some others as well. She went downstairs (storage room???) to grab me a few different lenses and I sat alone at a small desk with a mirror to try them on. She re-checked my eyes for fit after I had them on and then disappeared downstairs. I sat upstairs for almost 20 minutes when I finally asked the receptionist where the doctor was, to which she replied "getting some more contacts downstairs". So I waited another 5 minutes. Dr Bieber came back upstairs, still chewing on her lunch and told the receptionist that I was "all set". At this point I just paid my co-pay and left. I ended up having to call them three more times to get them to send my Rx so I could order my contacts online. I dont know how this place is still open - Ive never had issues at any other business in Shirlington.

The Optician is LITERALLY the most dismissive, non explanatory "professional" I have come across in 43 years on the earth. It is difficult to put into words how this experience left me feeling. I was polite, used my southern gentleman side and was met with a refusal that I cannot believe was real. I tried to ask her questions and all she did was type on her computer and not look at me while essentially providing non-answers to my questions. This was such a bad experience that Im still wondering whether I was part of a show like Punkd. I cant imagine that someone could act that way towards people and still be employed. At no point did I feel welcomed and at no point did I feel like she cared to help. An adjustment to my glasses was all I was asking for. She flat out told me she was unwilling to adjust them (which is a simple procedure) and that if I wanted help I should go to another Optician. Fortunately for the both of us...I will do that. I am absolutely in shock at this experience and certainly hope I just caught her on her worst day at the worst time.

My experience at VisualEyes was wonderful. I recently visited twice (once for an eye exam and the other for glasses) and both times the wait time was short-- under 5 minutes-- and I was greeted with a smile. The doctor was helpful, she helped answered all of my questions and an associate also helped me pick out the best glasses for my insurance and flex spending plan. I will plan to come back for future needs and highly recommend VisualEyes to anyone looking for a new eye doctor.

Ive been going to Dr. Vo annual for years to get a new prescription for my glassses and contacts. The service is wonderful and they have many various frames to chose from and from different price ranges. Dr. Vo made sure that my contact were comfortable too. I tried on a whole bunch of them until I found one that was comfortable and could last me throughout the whole day.
