Shockingly, the system moves very fast and the new location is clean. Although I am happy with how speedy everything moved, Im extremely disappointed in the mental health offerings. Following seeing my primary care Doctor and getting set up with Audiology, I decided to take advantage of the mental health offerings and they are AWFUL! No sensitivity, or willingness to listen. They want to medicate with anti-depressants almost immediately after talking, and sadly recommended taking Benadryl as a sleeping solution. This is extremely disappointing when I was simply looking for recommendations and solutions for my fast-paced life and mindset.

I hadnt seen my doctor in 3 years because every time I did, she said that whatever my complaint was, was because of my weight and never addressed my health concerns. Now I am having severe problems. I cant eat anything. At all. I havent eat more than a banana in 3 days, and she said its because Im overweight. I know my body. This is an acute problem that has nothing to do with my weight and Im tired of my health concerns being ignored just because Im 20lbs overweight. I cant eat. Im nauseous. I went from a size 12 to a size 20 in 3 weeks. This isnt normal. But obviously Im undeserving of quality medical care because Im fat.

Came to the new location to get my lab work done. What used to take at least 30 to 45min at the old location, was a 10min affair here. I didnt even get a chance to get comfortable in the waiting area. I highly recommend this location to any Vet who is in the area. Id like to personally shake the hand of whoever approved the construction of this facility.

I use the new VAOPC location in Conroe and have used it from the day it opened. The staff is much more relaxed and friendly than they were in the former location. I use them for glasses, hearing aids, general medicine and for orthopedics. I love that I do not have to go all the way into Houston for these services. I am glad that they are here.

So far its been night and day compared to the Houston VMAC. They actually treat you like a person when you walk in not another number. I live in Humble but will drive further to avoid the traffic and stress associated with the Houston center.

When I was at the VA Clinic yesterday I was so impressed with how everybody was there to help you. They helped me quickly with my request. I just felt like I was in good hands and they were very friendly and professional.

Staff is great and Ive actually have had the same RN and LVN for the last 4 years. Ive had the same doctor for 2 years now. Nice not having to explain my injuries everytime I go in.
