The veterinarian there that I saw was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. However the issue was not him, but the very rude, unprofessional staff. The day I called wanting to see the vet and possibly sign up for the Wellness Plan, I was able to come in the the moment of the phone call and see the vet. After signing up, when I needed an appointment bc my dog was sick, it was 1-2 weeks before I could be seen. What??!!! I explained that my dog was sick now and needed to be seen in the next 24-48 hours but was told that was not possible and that they were completely booked for weeks. Really? Interesting that once a Wellness Plan member, appointments are no longer available besides for routine care. After I had to collect my dogs urine for a urinalysis (bc they were too busy to see my dog), I brought it in at the vets request and was told it would take 20 minutes to get the results. After waiting for over 1.5 hours, I expressed my impatience and need to leave and the staff member at the desk was extremely nasty to me. She refused to give me the results and after arguing for 5 minutes, she verbally gave them to me, but refused to give me the results in writing and stated it would be hours before she would have time to get them. I requested my pets medical records in order to change vets, despite being out the money for Wellness plan, and in the notes of the records were very unprofessional, untrue statements made about me and the things that I allegedly said (made by the same staff member). DO NOT take your pet here if you value customer service and if you ever need to see a vet without 2 weeks notice! This is my first review so I I feel strongly about this place to spend time writing a negative review.

They refused to see my dog, even though he is a regular patient with them. He was coughing and I wasnt sure if he had something caught in his throat or maybe it was something else. They said they couldnt look down his throat and I would have to take him to the ER Vet. I said but what if its not that, he has heartworms, you diagnosed him. They still refused to see my dog, and also told me if they referred me to the ER Vet the ER Vet would waive the emergency fee. That was a lie, so I am now out 493.00 ER Vet bill for something they could have treated my dog for, he didnt have anything in his throat, he has congestion because of the heartworms. And this is not the only time they have screwed up, when they diagnosed my dog with heartworms the heartworm treatment the vet prescribed would have killed my dog, luckily the assistant checking me out caught the mistake. I chalked it up to a bad day, well Im not giving them the benefit of the doubt this time. These people are a joke.****UPDATE MAY 25 2016 TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THESE JOKERS HAD THE NERVE TO CALL ME AND REMIND ME MY DOG NEEDS HIS VACCINATIONS! MY DOG IS DEAD AND THEY ARE PART OF THE REASON!

I have been going to Banfield for over 3 years now. I pay $170 a month for our 4 pets wellness plans and have only need non preventative service for them twice. We always have to wait at least 30 mins but I have never complained because I assumed they were seeing other pets that had more emergent situations than mine and hoped if one of my fur babies ever needed help, this would be the place to give it. Today, I called in explaining that my dog has a dog bite and need medical attention. It was no longer bleeding and was not emergent and therefore was not worth the price to go to the ER. I called in and was on hold for 20 minutes before having to hang up. I called back and was greeted by Megan Tanner. I was told the next appointment was not until Monday, 5 days away. When I said I guess Ill wait until it gets infected, there was no response. The rude Megan apparently had hung up. I looked on their site where it welcomes walk ins. I had my boyfriend being our pup in and was turned away by the same Megan in the same rude manner. I will never go back here again and am looking for another vet.

Our Banfield Vet Dr. Gloriod moved to this location recently, we follow him everywhere!!!! We had our first experience this past Sat at the new office. I cannot express to you how much more organized and calm it was. The front desk staff are pleasant, the tech came out and REALLY listened to us catch her up on our dogs history. Historically, after each visit at two other locations our dog (who is quite emotional) would take about 3 days to recover- loose stools, not eating, stomach upset, obsessive circling- the list goes on. After our visit here, she napped calmly up until dinner time, ate a full meal, drank normally, went to the bathroom normally and the next day was up up up going to the door wanting to take a walk!!!! She has walked everyday since and fully recouped. She is old, arthritic, hypothyroidism, has limp tail syndrome and on many medications. She had anesthesia, xrays, nail trim and dental cleaning. LOVE this new office and of course Dr. Gloriod-you can tell he does what he loves to do!

Run dont walk away from this place! They are in the business of taking your money and that is all. You will not leave this place without getting charged $300-$500 per pet. They will run up the bill with bogus treatments. They lost all my pet records, lost prescription information and refused to treat without another "evaluation". You will never see the same vet twice. It is a "drive by" clinic with young inexperienced rotating vets that work all over the place. Go get yourself a good country vet that owns the practice and has been in business for a while. Their "Wellness" plans are a scam that is also outsourced to another company. Its bogus insurance that is designed to take your money and you will spend hours trying to get it cancelled. Of course they can take your money for the Wellness plan at Banfield but they cannot cancel the policy. This place should be shut down!

Will never ever use Banfield for veterinary Services. After being told that I had an appointment at 4:30 I arrived at 4:35 I was told to go home after driving 45 minutes to get to the location. I needed to get my dogs vaccinations updated today so that I could drop her off at her boarding facility tomorrow. If I had known that this was a possibility at that I would be unable to get my dog vaccinated I would not have driven 45 minutes they use their services. I would have continued calling veterinary clinics until I found one when I called at 10 a.m. if I had known that 5 minutes could mean being turned away. It being after 5 p.m. on a Sunday there is no way I can get my dog vaccinated today it has put me in a very bad situation. Beware of this location and be sure to be 10 minutes early because obviously 5 minutes is just too much trouble for them.
