Dr. Jeffery took a urine sample from Jazz, my cat. He used a needle to extract the sample from her bladder. He had the benefit of using ultra-sound to make sure it was done correctly. Nevertheless, he pierced some nerve (or something) and caused a reaction in my cat that killed her. I went in for the simple reason that my cat was peeing outside of her litter box. I left with a dying loved one. It was obvious what he had done at the time. Jazz was on the floor, could not move, and was defecating on herself. He told me that this sometimes happens, and we could not do anything about it--even though she was still alive. I left with my beloved cat. She died screaming at about 1AM. What is worse is that when I called the medical center to inform them of Jazzs death, I did not receive as much as a sorry from Dr. Jeffery. He was cold as ice previously when he told me she was likely to die. He was colder when he ignored her actual death. Others here praise him. But the real test of a compassionate doctor is how he/she acts when the outcome is negative. Dr. Jeffery failed that test. The other doctors at that clinic may be more trustworthy, but I strongly suggest that you avoid Dr Jeffery. He probably sometimes gets it right, but he also sometimes gets simple procedures horribly wrong--and then expresses not an ounce of compassion for the victim or the family of the victim. I understand that mistakes can happen. I do not understand the complete and utter lack of compassion for the being who died, and for her family. Jazz, every night, spent 15 minutes snuggling with me when I went to bed. It was on her own initiative. Then she left and did her own thing. In the morning, she hung out with me while I showered. We had a routine. I loved her. She was not a replaceable object. Her death was awful, and I do not beieve it was necessary. (I suspect Dr. Powell is the doctor to see there, if you want a caring doctor).

This clinic is horribly overpriced in comparison with other clinics of the same reputation in the area. Additionally, the staff at the front is incredibly rude. I take three dogs and one cat to this clinic. I have been a patron for many many many years. On one occasion recently I forgot my credit card. I was able to pay for all but 100 dollars of the service for my two dogs in cash. When I explained to the ladies at the front desk that I would need to go and get more money because I had misplaced my card (I was already embarrassed enough), she loudly accused me of trying to rip them off. I offered to leave collateral until my return (literally, my bank is right across the street... I offered to leave my cell phone), she told me I needed to leave my dogs as collateral instead. Needless to say, my dogs are family and not collateral. I left my phone on the counter and went to the bank and returned to pay the remainder of my bill within a half hour. I took my dogs with me. On another occasion, the vet gave my dog medication without consent (literally it was anti-gas medication) and tried to charge me $80 for the unnecessary pill I easily could have bought over the counter (or not given my dog since literally it was unnecessary). It has also become increasingly difficult to see the same vet each time. It is important with animals to see the same vet and build a relationship. This is not the place for me and my pet family. I can get better prices, better service, friendlier reception, and better care for my animals at another location down the street. Dont waste your time and money at this clinic. It isnt what it used to be. gs and one cat to this clinic.

Dr. Jeffrey!!!!!! THE BEST!!! A huge THANK YOU to Dr. Jeffrey for the absolutely wonderful and caring job he has done for my beloved family member Jack, who developed a debilitating disease of the heart several years ago. Dr. Jeffrey has been so incredibly kind throughout the years of my boys treatment. There have been many trials, ups and downs, over the past few years. Somehow, Dr. Jeffrey seems to pull Jack out of it each time, all the while comforting me. Years ago, I chose "my veterinarian", Dr. Jeffrey, through word of mouth with vigilant care and attention. I am so happy to have found this veterinarian. Dr. Jeffrey is a very smart, caring, and compassionate person. He is truly concerned about me and my buddy! Hes gentle, caring, and knowledgeable and takes his responsibilities very seriously. I can certainly give him a big vote of confidence. I think youll like him, too, if youre looking for a good veterinarian who has your pets best interest in the forefront of his diagnosis and not your pocketbook. Keep in mind that pets cant tell a doctor whats wrong with them, and you want a good diagnostician to be there for your pet. Im convinced that without Dr. Jeffrey, my boy Jack would not be around today. In front of the entire world, I say...Dr. Jeffrey: YOU ARE TRULY APPRECIATED!!!!

Dr. Jeffery and Dr. Powell offered reduced rates to the rescue organization that saved my best friend and introduced me to him. Since then I decided that rather than go to the animal hospital around the corner from my house I would drive the half hour one way to see them as a thank you for their generosity. But my loyalty to their office is now based on their quality of care and their consistent ability to exceed my expectations. The wonderful ladies that work up front are a joy to work with, and they always take wonderful care of us. All of the techs are patient, professional, and understanding, and my dog and now my new puppy both love them all. Dr. Jeffery, Dr. Powell, and Dr. Lewis have all been so helpful and knowledgeable and have helped my dogs through different surgeries and skin conditions. The best part however, is watching my dogs wiggle uncontrollably with excitement when we walk through the front door. I would never have imagined my dogs getting excited about going to the vet.

After years of loyalty and spending thousands of dollars in this clinic, one day, my Basset Hound became horribly sick very suddenly during regular business hours. I called them and told the front desk that something was very wrong and begged them to see us. The front desk person coldly informed me that they had no openings, and I would have to find somewhere else. I asked them to ask one of the doctors, and they refused. Turns out, my dog had bloat, and literally came within minutes of dying. Of course, by that time I had to go to the emergency animal hospital 30 minutes away, which cost me a HUGE amount of money. I loathe this animal hospital.

When we were told that Ginger would likely die, we called Dr. Jeffrey. He healed our kitty with compassionate methods when 2 other Drs offices wanted to take extreme and painful measures with her that we could not bare to put her through. Now, she is just like new and we are so grateful! Dr. Jeffreys treatment for pancreatitis included IV infusions, various blood tests, injections, and medications. That was about one month ago and Ginger is not only alive, but happier than ever before! Thank you so much!
