Emergency care is expensive...thats all there is to it. If your pet can wait to see your own vet during regular business hours, then wait. Otherwise, this clinic is there for you and your pet in an emergency and yes, it will cost more. Pets cant communicate their needs and suffering so it can be a guessing game. That means blood tests and x-rays to rule possible issues out - that costs money. Sometimes, especially if you are unable to cover the extensive costs to perform different tests to rule issues out, your pet may not make it. That said, the staff was friendly and caring. The vet was very knowledgeable, genuinely cared for the health of my pet, and was thorough. The staff and vet explained everything and it was up to me to decide what I am able to do financially in order to care for my pets emergency. The vet explained many different approaches...at different expense levels and its up to me as the pets owner to decide what I can do and what I cant. They cant provide emergency care for free...but they do provide you with as much information as possible so that you may make the best decision in your pets emergency, and it was honest and clear. They will take payment up front and they will take your pet from you and have you wait in the waiting room. This is how emergency care is provided and there is nothing unusual about it. Also, expect to wait...the clinic seems to want to help your pet as quickly as possible and get you on your way but they have many pets coming in with emergencies and if other pets are more urgent, they will see to them first. That seems perfectly reasonable to me - because that is what I would want for my pet and that is normal procedure in emergency rooms everywhere, including emergency rooms for humans. If your pet has an emergency, I would recommend this clinic without hesitation, but it will cost you and you will have to be patient. The care and ownership of an animal is expensive...just like children. Therefore, owning a pet should not be taken lightly and you have to financially plan ahead for emergencies just like you do for people. I hope my cat doesnt have another emergency anytime soon but if he does- this is where we come. Jennifer The Woodlands, Tx.

HORRIBLE experience. I walk in and they took my animal from me for almost two hours without saying anything about what was going on. Then when I asked what was going on and could I have him sit with me until the doctor came they said no and rudely told me to sit back down. ( I have had many animals from cats to dogs to horses and have never, not been able to sit with my animal while they do anything short of surgery and keep them from me) The doctor himself was nice but still told me the extremely obvious things about my puppy, then told me they muzzled him even though this dog has never bitten anyone and his idea of scared is curling in a ball and licking you to death. When the HORRIBLY rude vet tech came in and I started getting frustrated because he would not explain "Misc shots" charge on the estimate, by saying "Well you know shots, in case he needs any" I would like to know what they are putting in my animal! Then when asked what the 3 meds, were that were listed he said well hes has an upset stomach it will help of course!" When I said yes but can you please be specific, I mean is it all for his stomach?" He replied extremely rude, " It will help him thats it!",when I told him I was getting frustrated he replied with " Ya I can tell!" The best thing about the whole visit was a girl with short blond hair who came in after I said I needed a minute to call someone and explained EVERYTHING on the "estimate", that also half the stuff was on there the vet and I ruled out. She explained 2 of the 3 meds, and we found he didnt need in any way, scratched off the test the vet and I decided he 99% likely didnt have, etc. Then she finally brought me my dog. Overall though I will NEVER go there again!!

I had a great experience at this animal clinic. I was shocked when I read the other reviews about how awful the lady at the front desk was and how unprofessional they facility staff were. We had to take our dog in to be put down. The lady at the front desk was so nice and kind and helpful. While there, two other people came in after me and the lady made sure that each person in line had the paperwork to fill out while I was paying in advance. Once we got into a room the vet tech brought our puppy in and gave us around 30 minutes to say goodbye. She was very professional and helpful. When the vet came in, he explained exactly what was going to happen and he and the vet tech gathered us around the table. After the procedure the vet was teary-eyed and they gave us a few moments alone in the room after. There was another person there with a very sick dog and we got to talk to him, he had brought in his parents dog and the office worked with him and gave him different options and worked with him on price as he was just the go-between for his parents. The office did a good job at being professional and helpful. The pricing was also very low for an emergency vet in our experience with multiple dogs and cats. For such a difficult and last minute thing they were accommodating and understanding. For any future pet emergencies I will definitely go back to them. We couldnt be more happy with how they handled the situation.

I HOPE NOONE HAS TO GO HERE! WE VISITED 6/17/2017 AND I NEVER IMAGINED A HOSPITAL WOULD BE LIKE THIS! WE BROUGHT OUR PUPPY WHO WAS HIT BY A CAR AND HAD A BROKEN LEG. THEY CHARGED US $200 FOR LITERALLY LOOKING AT OUR DOG AND ONE SHOT OF PAIN MED. WAITED 3 HOURS FOR NOTHING. TO GET MORE DIAGNOSIS OF ACTUAL XRAY AND CONDITION OR OUR DOG IT WOULD HAVE BEEN $1300 UPFRONT . THAT WOULD NOT INCLUDE ANY OTHER TREATMENT. WE OPTED OUT AND TOOK PAIN MEDS FOR OUR PUP AND TOO HER TO OUR VET. THE STAFF WAS RUDE AND VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. OUR VET CHARGED US $200 FOR A CONSULTATION, XRAYS, ANTIBIOTICS, ANTIINFLAMATORY, AND A SPLINT FOR OUR PUPS BROKEN LEG. ALSO WHILE WE WERE THERE WE WITNESSED HORRIBLE TREATMENT TO A GOOD SAMARITAN WHO WITNESSED A DOG GET HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. SHE INNNOCENTLY BROUGHT IT IN ON A GOOD DEED AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE HER $6000 FOR DIAGNOSING THE DOG , OR EVEN MORE TO PUT IT TO SLEEP. AFTER A HUGE ARGUMENT BECAUSE SHE COULD NOT AFFORD EITHER, ANOTHER GOOD SAMARATAN TOOK OVER THE STRAY INJURED DOG. THE LADY WHO ORIGINALLY BROUGHT IT IN HAD TO LEAVE. AS SOON AS SHE WALKED OUT THE VET SAID SHE WOULD NOT CHARGE THE NEW PERSON INCHARGE OF STRAY ANYTHING TO PUT IT TO SLEEP. SO UNFAIR! I COULD GO ON ABOUT MORE BAD THINGS, BUT THIS CAN GIVE YOU AN IDEA. PEOPLE PLEASE DONT EXPOSE YOUR PRECIOUS ANIMALS TO THIS PLACE.
