I really appreciate this clinic.....their staff ..they are nice to my pets and so far Dr. Thomas has been the best doctor for my girls. And yes it is a low cost clinic... manual maintenance which include a lot of things beside the typical shots and the hw test it is like 150 less than other places...when I have been there I asked how much will be a treatment before go in....and the same as I told it is what I have paid.....The consulting is in very nice price...and shots are lower price than other places....and even I took my friends dog that got attacked by other dog and got broken a leg....it was a life saver...since they have x rays etc they are very complete....with all the shot x rays etc....just paid 217.00 (surgery was apart).....my oldest dog always has the best considerations and the staff and the doctor are very patience with me since they know I am very special and sensitive about my girls.......I just have the best comments about them....and they do care about the pets...it is not just the money....they go the extra mile for them....they are very down to earth affordable and caring....if you want to feel confident on a place that will have everything to be taken care of your pets medical needs...no surprises, great staff and affordable...this is your place ....Thank you :)

On August 19, 2015 I took my Westie here to be treated for an unilateral ear infection. My dog was given a Vetalog injection, Lanolin plugs in both ears, Cephalexin 250 mg twice daily and Terbinafine 250mg tablets once daily, both for 14 days. My dog was also given a year supply of Trifexis heartworm/ flea medicine. On the second day 1 hour after his dose of Cephalexin my dog threw his morning meal up. I discontinue the Cephalexin that day but continued the Terbinafine 250mg once a day with his evening meal for nine days before discontinuing it. On Saturday, August 29th I gave the monthly dose of Trifexis to my dog. Sunday morning my dog refused to eat. He threw up several times over the next days refusing to eat all of his favorite foods. He is now in North Houston Emergency Pet Hospital on tube feedings and continuous IV therapy for liver failure. With the skills of the Doctors at this hospital my dog would have died from organ failure. He is still unable to eat. Terbinafine has caused liver failure and death in humans and Trifexis has had over 700 dogs reported dying after they were given the drug. It seems a simple blood test to test liver function before prescribing Terbinafine and Trifexis would be indicated????

I highly recommend not asking the amount you will have to pay over the phone because the price they state over the phone is a complete lie. I was having my dog fixed here because the animal shelter on 242 gave me a paper saying that its "low cost" and would be $60. Which is a lie now because they include a $20 fee for a shot. I would not have a problem with, but my boyfriend called the day or two before we took her in and he asked the max amount it could be and they said $185. I took my dog in and signed for everything they told him would be included in that cost and when he went to pick our dog up they told him the total was $275, when he made a comment about the amount they had agreed on the woman said well we can take the pain pills off, which would bring it down to $265. I find that comment quiet rude. In all honesty they seem friendly, but they dont really tell you what is wrong or what they are doing until they are in the process of doing so. I am young this is my first dog to take care of on my own and they do not explain things that they are doing. I only went here because I am a college student and I was told it is a "low cost" vet, so if youre told that it is "low cost" it is a lie.

I feel like some of these reviews are leaving out some information. I take my two dogs and my cat there and they are all very well taken care of. They know how cost conscious I am and always have a quote ready for me and a paper to sign saying I wont have to pay over a certain amount. Just recently my dog was having blood in his stool and I called at 10 am and they said they could fit me in at 1-1:30. At 1:15 I was in. They did testing, gave us prescriptions, and a special diet. Cost 300 but way cheaper than an emergency vets office. Plus they take care credit. Also when my first kitty died the office staff all signed a card and gave it to me. Overall this place is pretty great and cheap! If you express the need to keep pricing low, they will work with you. Plus there are many options regarding different flea and heartwarming preventatives. I will continue to go here.

"clinic" staff took my dog in the back without my presence. I suffered in silence, listening to her whine. The nurse asked if I fed her people food. The nurse sent the vet in and he said that shes probably dying and theyll need to do an extensive exam. The nurse asked for my adoption papers and typed all of it into the system. Asked how much $ I have with me. I said $70 only. I asked about a payment plan. They said no. said they have credit. I applied for it but it denied me on the spot. The nurse laughed about my dog. She looked thrilled when I said, I cant pay for the exam. They talked down to me and were very disrespectful to my dog. They suggested I take her to adoption center clinic. I paid the bill. they lost my business. when I looked online for the results of the tests they did, I only saw the words from the adoption sheet the nurse borrowed off me....

We are very pleased with this vet clinic. Service was good, staff is nice, they are not pushy, and office is clean. For some this might not mean anything, but there is a Noahs Ark painting in the reception area, and at the end of our apt. the doctor said "....and we will see you in 3 weeks to check her progress, The Lord willing this treatment will get her back on track". For us that goes a long way. Update: We took 2 more of our cats in to have fixed, they needed one vaccination each plus neutering, it was less than $200. When I dropped them off the staff made sure I knew what everything cost and did not make me feel at all bad for not choosing additional things. I really love these guys!

What I can say is if you live close enough to them to go to them you really need to. I called them this morning and then went there with a stray cat from the apartment complex that I live in who was in very bad shape. Her jaw was broken, she had neurological damage, I believe it was her kidney that was shutting down and a variety of other things. She had apparently been hit by a car. Every staff member and the vet that I dealt with was so polite, so helpful and so kind. Unfortunately Fuzzy was hurt too bad to have much of any chance to come back from all her injuries if she had surgery so she had to be put down. Thank you to all of them for your kindness.
