We have been seeing Dr Bringhurst since 2000. I could not recommend him more highly. Hes an A&M vet who knows and loves the animals. He has a great manner with them as well as their owners-I have had many great conversations with him. My dogs and cats have never been anxious with him. He treats them as if they were his own. My border collie mix lived to 16 with no issues and my gray tabby cat lived to 21. Dr Bringhurst took excellent care of both of my animals and is now taking care of my 4 year old terrier mix and my 9 year old DSH cat. His fees are beyond reasonable...so reasonable as to make me wonder why he does it....it is certainly not for the money. It is because he loves what he does. He loves every animal that comes through there. He has a passion for helping them. They just dont get any better than him. 5 stars is not enough.

My cat had an infection, Dr. Bringhurst kind of looked over her not moving (just checked to see if anything was broken nothing more), really backed off areas that hurt her to touch her told me she was in a lot of pain should me some "scratch marks" where she had tried to get away from what had attacked her. He never checked her temperature or gave her antibiotics (any good vet would have done)gave her a cortisone shot (which lowers your immunity and hides signs of infection) and told me a warm compress (which would help to spread infection) could help with the pain. She ended up going necrotic and gangrene in those "scratch mark" areas, as well as septic and died within a week

My family vet (since fired) said my dog had a detached retina and that she was blind for life. Sr. Swanson examined her, found corneal scarring, and suggested cytosporin drops as a cure. She now sees very well. These guys are the best!
