Some of the front desk employees are rude they need to teach them the meaning of CUSTOME SERVICE !!! Had to go out of town for approximately 1 week and this location was near the house to board the family dog. All the shots was up to date but they wanted the Dog to have a flu shot " Influenza " before theyll accept him. So; I did get him the shot because the trip out of town was unexpected ( part of the military benefits). The shot was 38.00 which was about going rate everyone else charge. Then on top of that they charge examination fee for 46.35 and they say my dog got a lot of wax so ; they clean it and charge me again for ear " Otirinse earcleaning and drying " When all done the total for that day was 97.25 plus the 5 days of boarding which came out to another 112.20 If I had more time I would have take him to Petco which charge 33 per day and saved !!! Mind you the Flu shot they gave him was only the 1st. They say the shot has 2 parts and I need to come for 2nd shot. My guess are its another 97.00 plus dollar again. Ohh they say my dog needed the flu shot because they had an outbreak of flu recently ??!!

I had been going to another vet clinic which I did like but when Slinky (my Daschund) kept getting started having repeated UTIs I found Veterans Memorial Animal Hospital and Dr. Lisa Knapp. The practice Holistic medicine here also and has proved to be beneficial to my Slinky. They do acupuncture, chiropractic procedures here which are not found at other Veterinarians. I did a lot of research before I located Dr. Knapp. Slinky had had bladder stone surgery and had recurring Urinary Tract Infections. She had taken so many antibiotics that I was starting to worry if she really got sick they may not work. Thank God for this clinic, they are more expensive from where I was going but they are thorough, explain everything and when you call with an issue about medication etc., the actual doctor that is treating your beloved pet calls you back in a timely manner. Dr. Knapp goes for continuing education classes to keep up with both Western medicine and the Holistic approach. The doctors and the staff are amazing, helpful and always polite. You guys are the BOMB!!

Ive been using this provider for around 10 years now and theyve taken care of 2 cats and 2 dogs for our family. Their staff has treated us and our animals extremely well. I tried going somewhere cheaper for vaccinations, but now I stick with our vet because they will monitor my pets for reactions that have happened in the past. Many times Ive used them in daytime emergency situations. They have saved my pets from random things that have happened over the years and never turned me away when I needed help. Although my cats have both passed now, including one within the last week, they had very long lives for cats. One of the big contributing reasons is the great care they received from our vet. The staff has shown our family great compassion and empathy when faced with losing a pet. I dont know the full circumstances of the complaints others posted. All I can relay is my experience, which is simply that this is a quality veterinary practice. I will keep going back as long as I have pets.

This veterinary clinic/hospital has been very good to me and my cats. Their customer service is outstanding and our doctor has not only helped us immensely but she is also incredibly compassionate. I feel very confidant that my pet is getting the best level of care here. She is completely knowledgeable in the latest treatments and is very thorough. These are the things that you look for in a veterinarian and even though I have to drive somewhat far to get here, it is well worth it to me. As far as the other reviewer saying that they are bias at this clinic, I dont believe that to be true at all. For one thing, there are several minorities working at this place and I have been there so many times with many others being there and have never seen anyone treated any differently than anyone else. Please see for yourself. If you love your pets, you want them to have the best, right? Well, the best is here!

I absolutely LOVE this place. The staff is so loving to my baby ( puppy) Maltapoo and is excited to see her each time we come. I like that the lobby and exam rooms are clean and hand hygiene is taken seriously. Im always greeted with a smile and acknowledged when l come whether its scheduled or walk in. Any questions l have are always answered with assurance which is what l need as a new mommy. I also appreciate that my observations be it behavioural or physical, are investigated. Additionally they make recommendations and allow me to schedule services ahead of time so that l can stay on budget. What attracted me to this place was the big bone posted on the signage. It truly is all about animals here!

I was very unhappy with the visit. The male vet was gone so I guess this female who was there was his replacement? We were there for 2 hours and they were maybe only in the room a total of 30 minutes IF THAT. I was very appreciative of what they did for us, but I will NEVER bring my dogs back there. It was a waste of our time. If yall want to bring yours there, go ahead but make sure you call first and ask which vet is in! It sounded like a bunch of bull that they googled and came back and read to us when we were asking for information. I asked for a treatment plan that was needed for my pup and yet it was still never given.

Dr. Aherns is amazing: a very progressive veterinarian, a scientist with a big heart. He is extremely knowledgeable and unusually innovative, using leading edge approaches to address tough health issues in pets. Ill be forever grateful for his compassion and commitment to my boxer who has degerative myelopathy. He is the best veterinarian I have ever used and I have used some great ones. He uses a perfect blend of holistic, therapeutic and conventional treatments. Dr. Aherns is exceptional in many ways. I recommend him highly. ° I also love his friendly staff.

Every time we came in the front office staff was so friendly and didnt even mind when Summer would jump up to see them. When Sunshine had her emergency they jumped to help and they were so caring and loving to her. Dr. Ayala was amazing with her treatment of her and so considerate and kind when she passed away despite his efforts. I am sad to have moved an hour south and I desperately hope I can find an office and a doctor as good as this group of people.

love bringing both my Cats here! Dr Ayala & Dr Knapp are far both the best ever! very friendly and caring i also love the staff they dont just give you a price but they discuss the prices with you so that you are aware of each price (basically you are in control of the prices) they tell you what is and isnt needed. they provided the best care of each animal that i have seen come in and out of the clinic
