I called in asking to see a Dr. who can treat macular degeneration and bleeding in retina. Told them we already saw an OD and know the diagnose is macular degeneration and new bleeding was found. The front desk recommended Dr. Stein and assured me thats what he does. Went in and repeated the same examination we did with the OD 2 days ago, and Dr. Stein stopped by for 5 minutes and spend 1 minute looking at the patient. What he said was theres scar and we need to see a retina specialist. I tried to ask question like how urgent it is or if its bleeding, he couldnt answer any of them. Other than repeating we need to see a retina specialist, there isnt any other information. But that is what we call for - we need to see someone who can treat macular degeneration!!! They charged $454+ for this medical opinion "you need to see a retina specialist", which I already knew before I called this place by spending $90 to see an OD. Dr. Stein is the most arrogant and unprofessional Dr. I have ever seen. He was also the least helpful since based on his response it seems he knew nothing about the patients problem. I wish I could see the reviews here before I called this place. I will never go back again since its a completely waste of money and time. You can go to a mall and spend 1/5 of the price to get much more information about your diagnosis and possible treatment plan. Its a very disappointing experience especially for the patient, who is a self paying foreign visitor spending one month salary in this place and got nothing.

Great doctors and staff! If you wear glasses and or contacts these are the best doctors in the area. And, if you are looking for Lasik surgery, Dr. Stein is the best! My family has been coming here for 12 years. I highly recommend these doctors.
