This vet must be more of a dog person. I took my newly-adopted cat here because this is where the rescue recommended. First time, was the the 1st week I had her because it looked like she had a cold. They gave us eye/nose drops and oral antibiotics. They washed her ears out and said "she had ear mites too, but she is fine now." Silly me, I believed them. Of course the mites came back and she was going nuts. I took her back and they washed her ears again, gave her a shot for the mites (I later found out that this treatment is considered experimental, I was never asked, never authorized it) and they handed me a box of Revolution. The vet spent maybe 5 total minutes with us between me AND the cat, never giving me a chance to ask questions. Completely disregarded that she was licking the fur off herself like crazy. Never gave any kind of ear-care tips/instructions or things to look for. And now I will be taking her to a different vet because of course, the mites are back and my poor kitty cant stop licking :(. This place would be cost-effective if they treated the problems right the 1st time. They get 2 stars because I showed up without an appointment and they took me first thing that AM and the rest of the staff seemed really nice.

We took our sick cat to animal medical hospital. We are the type of the people whose animals are family. I was first upset by how they tried to get our cat out of her carrier. The guy grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and pulled. When we got into the waiting room the doctor did a quick exam and then took our cat to the back for x-rays. 20 minutes later he emerged telling us he had taken x-rays, blood, given her medication and fluids. He did a quick explanation of her condition but did not tell us what to feed her until she gets better, when she should start acting better, instead he gave us some pills and sent us off. The pros: the care was cheap and I am sure that she was given the proper treatment for her condition. They were able to make an appointment without a wait. The cons: if you have a pampered pet and like to be walked through what is going to be done and the course of treatment you are not going to get that at Animal Medical Hospital.

This is my teacup yorkis vet and we couldnt be any happier! Chipping and shots wasnt expensive and I had my yorkis teeth done (incl extracting some lose teeth) and paid about $360. This is a fantastic price!! Besides the low costs, the people working here are very nice, educated and explain very patiently what the matter is with your pup/cat and what the options are. I told my landlord about how satisfied I am and she was stunned about the low dental bill, she went here with her cat and its long term mouth problems and was very thankful I gave her the number. She now has changed her vet and goes as well only to the animal medical hospital.

Dr panza is simply the most compassionate veterinarian you could ask for we had to put our kitten down here and it aas heartbreaking but i knew it was for her too. She wept with us and offered the most support i have ever had in medicine of any kind. She took as best of care as she possibly xould have for our cat. The front desk and vet techs here are also extremely friendly and compassionate. I had to drive an hour and a half round trip just to make it out here to this hospital and it is worth it every time. Also parking can be found in the back through the gate. Kind of hard to spot.

I love this place because of its affordable rates. They really dont try to jack up the prices like many other places. $30 for office visits and everything else is reasonably priced. Another great thing is that they can always squeeze me in last minute, even if its not an emergency. They have a great friendly staff [except for this one technician who I think is scared of big dogs....] and the vet is great. Hes soft spoken and not one to talk a lot with the "how are you"s and "oh your dog is so cute." But hes very friendly and approachable - can ask him anything. Overall great place!!

I just moved to Pasadena and was having a hard time finding a good vet. I just happen to come across this Animal Medical Hospital on Colorado Blvd., and lucked out! The staff (receptionist, Vet Assistants, the Vet) are all friendly, very helpful - answered all my questions and eased any anxiety I had, and very knowledgable about the types of issues I had with my dogs. The prices for services are also very reasonable, considering Ive paid such costly medical bills for my pets in the past. I highly recommend this place.

This place used to be great, but the older vet who worked here died and Laura, the really nice receptionist, was replaced. Dr. Estacio believed in providing a discount on flea medications so that animals are not uncomfortable. The affliction is such a common one, yet the only medications that work are really expensive. The new people in charge seem to be more interested in making a profit than caring for the animals. I will look elsewhere for a place to take my cat.

I use to live in Pasadena then moved to Fontana and looked up a hospital close by, then read the reviews. I didnt like what I read therefore decided to go back to where I took my cat the first time. The staff at this Hospital are awesome!!! I highly recommend this hospital for your pet. They take the time for you and the care of your pet. This location is worth me driving 40 miles for the care of my Boo Boo. I cant praise them enough.

i took my cat here and it seemed i knew more about his anal Sac infection than the doctor knew. they took my cat in the back room without telling me what they were doing. they gave him antibiotic shots and some anti biotics to take home. its been 5 days and still no improvement in my cats infection. They didnt tell me they opened his anti-biotics which needed refrigeration and i found out it was open after it sat out all day...

I volunteer with a rescue group and I use Animal Medical Hospital all the time. I like this place. They have hours that work with my schedule, are affordable, i dont need an appointment and they have a friendly staff too. If you have any questions just ask they will answer them all.

They spent time getting to know my dog. The tech got down on the floor with her to check her vitals. More like a friend than a tech. Dr. Was very thorough and didnt rush or try to run unnecessary tests.
