My dog Tyson (a boxer) goes to east side medical in Grayson vet for normal visits and shots. So when my Pomeranian got sick and had been throwing up I rush home from Work around 6pm and take her straight there. They insure me that because Tyson has been a patient there they would treat Bella like their own. ?!?! First of I should have stopped there... Why would u treat one animal different than another? Because they give you money year round? I take Bella in and explain the situations and they told me she is very critical and needs to be stabilized it would cost me $500. I gave them Bella and couldnt wait to see her start feeling better. The doc comes back and tells me she needs blood work to see why she got this way and again I tell them ok. Back again for X-ray... No problem! Anyways after running all tests they come back with huge scares. My dog might have kidney infection , and it could be Cronic so its not worth the eating because she will go through this for the rest of her life, then they change their mind and say not only does she have kidney disease she also has a Pyometra and if not treated NOW my dog will die and not survive the night. I am at 875 with just IV and blood work. I ask for them to give me an estimate. They come back and say it would be 3200-3800 for the surgery and she might die on the table or after and want me to sign wavers. I freak out!!!! They are soooo easy to tell you to euthanize your pet if payment for treatment is not what you can afford. A doctor that has the ability to save my pups life walks in money hungry. They scare me that my baby is going to die. To cover their ass they want paperwork signed so if and when she does the blood is NOT in their hands. I signed papers and prayed my baby survived the night and went home. I went to beaver ruin animal hospital early in the morning by chance after value vet was closed. They staff was soooooooo kind and compassionate. They truly have LOVE for animals. They do give you options and tell you possibilities but they dont scare you that if you dont pay up your done. I left Bella there with paperwork and her X-rays. They doctor said the X-ray was not clear enough for diagnosis due to fluid floating in her abdomen. He took out the fluid to find out it was bacteria. He came back and told me that they can still perform the surgery to remove her Pyometra but he doesnt believe that is the reason my Bella is ill. He operated on her to find she had gall stones and her gallbladder had ruptured. Its now day 2 and after calling the office Im told by the doctor not the staff! That she is amazing and she is doing much better and even ate some food this morning. East side wanted to take my dogs life away from her. I couldnt put my dog to sleep. Beaver ruin hospital not just the doctor but the whole staff was there for me and Bella. They saved my baby. True love for animals

I have been coming here for years but will no longer after my most recent visits. I brought my rescued cat in because of ear problems & a small lump on his neck. I asked if it could be cancer & if we should asperate it & Dr Miers (spelling) flat out said, "No, thats just the infection". After 4 rounds of antibiotics & one surgery they told me he needed a TECA procedure which is the removal of the entire ear canal. I took him to the specialist & they said they didnt think that was the problem. They thought it was cancer. They did a cat scan & 4 biopsies. Sure enough its cancer. What makes me angry is the lump has grown so much now that its no longer operable so Dr Miers basically gave him a death sentence. I emailed them 3 days ago & they dont even have the decency to contact me. Its hard enough to lose a pet but to have someone misdiagnos something so basic as a HARD lump it makes it so senseless when something could have been done about it in the beginning. Now I have the difficult task of knowing when the right time is to put Sammy down. Im SOOOO angry!!!

Max has become a regular of this place now. We boarded him again in April and then in June of 2017. Just picked him up yesterday. He looks great as usual! And he seems to be so well-behaved. This will be the only place we trust to board our dachshund. Update: 7/29/16. We boarded Max again for 6 days this time. I was confident he would be well taken care of. And YES HE WAS!!! He looked so healthy and happy when we came picked him up today! He even had a bath! I cannot be happier with the service and the staff there! The staff is very professional, courteous, and mostly very caring. Thank you again for taking care of our Max! First time boarded our dog there for 3 days. I was a bit worried thinking I would find him thin and unhappy. When I saw him, he was just like before and very happy! He seemed enjoying the time there! I will definitively board again here next time we go out of town!

This place came highly recommended by my fiances grandmother who had taken her dogs and cats there for over twenty years. After having a negative experience at Morningside Animal Care Center in Lawrenceville, I decided to give them a try. I arranged a meet and greet with the doctor just to see how I felt about him. I also needed some more flea/tick medicine. Not only did I love the doctor and got an amazing feel from the clinic, but they ended up giving me a months supply of meds for free and did not charge an office visit or anything - which was TOTALLY unexpected and appreciated!! I can NOT say enough good things a bout this place. I am going back next month for vaccinations! Oh, and the staff is amazing - they even announce the pets as "clients" over the intercom for the doctor which I thought was really cute!! :-)

So far, this hospital has been there for me at every turn as I try to get my senior cat through a sickness that I wasnt even aware that cats could have. They do everything they can to work with me on convenience and taking care of my cat. I will bring my other babies there too, if needed. I had tried the other vets in the area, but had no luck as far as friendly, and knowledgeable vets. It is important to me that the vet sees my cats care in the same light I do (1 reason why friendly is important). There have been good vets at some of those places, but they were over shadowed by the others. :( A friend of mine suggested Beaver Crossing, and I am so glad I went! Actually open past my normal work hours helps tremendously too!

I brought my dog Wallace here to get his annual rabies shot, and bordetella, The vet gave my dog the wrong medication and killed him. I took my dog to this vet on Saturday Oct 3rd 2015, by Monday October 5th my dog was dead. I will never take another pet to this vet. This was the worst experience I have had in my life. I took my dog here playing and healthy, and within a couple of days he was dead, all because of this vets negligence.
