My family has been using this vet for as long as I can remember. I recently moved back and took my kitties in for their yearly visit. We have never needed appointments for these visits. Which makes it easy to get our animals in since we never know when they will be "in the mood" for the vet. That being said, this morning when I let my cats in to eat I noticed something was not right with one of them. He was sick to his stomach. I called the vet for advice. They were helpful and friendly as always. When I notice the cats face was swollen I called back to tell them and I took him in immediately. The doctor was compassionate and so were the vet techs. They treated my baby quickly and provided me with explanations for his treatment. I love taking my animals here. I grew up taking my childhood animals here with my dad. They know our animals and they know us. One last thing... they are so great that I drove back from Atlanta when I was in college to bring one of my cats here.

I brought my cat Bo in because I couldnt pin point what was wrong. They took note that he had a fever and ear infection, then sent us off with ear drops and antibiotics. Three days later I noticed Bo wasnt feeling any better. I called them back, and they told me to go ahead and bring him in. Checked his fever and it has risen from the last time we were in. They gave him a steroid shot to lower his fever and kept him for an hour. They were so sweet to me when I began to cry out of worry for my baby. They worked with me on my payment so that I would be able to treat him properly. They got his temperature down and let him come home. Not once did I feel like I was being judge for worrying over an "animal" as I have at other places. Each and everyone of them was so kind to me and my sweet Bo. I cannot express how thankful I am to have found such a compassionate vet. I will not be going anywhere else. Thank you so much!

Called about an injured neighborhood cat, one that will clearly die if not helped, but could easily make a nice recovery. Cat is not mine. I do not have the funds to take care of all the local animals, and was looking for some guidence. Woman who answered phone was quite curt, and seemed bothered that I would even think of calling them for help. Basically told me they would NOT help, no one around would, but I might call Humane Sociaty. I asked if she knew of a local feed store where I might purchase the antibotics and sutures to do my self, since I am new to the area, and again, seemed totally bothered I would ask such a thing and told me to try the internet. If you are looking for compasion and someone who truly cares about animals, give this place a pass.

I brought my dog Zoey Odom in to be spayed at 8 AM on Thursday the 10th! I received a call from the Doctor Who told me to pick her up by 5:30pm so I did! I could not even get home before my 13 year old daughter was in the back with her screaming "Mama shes pouring out blood help"! The Doctor Who operated on Zoey cut into a major artery/vein and if I wouldnt have rushed her to Woodland Animal hospital she would have died as they had to do another immediate surgery to save her life which cost us $1500 SO and no way shape, form, or fashion what I recommend this place to my WORST enemy. In fact IF the bill is not picked up and paid for in FULL, we then will proceed with an attorney

I have been taking my animals to Henry County Vet Hospital for 6 years now. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. The Doctors take the time to explain everything, and never seem rushed. I would highly recommend this vet.
