I have been looking for a vet who will listen to me, treat me like the educated consumer that I am, and not treat my pets like the next number in line for years. I heard about Duluth Animal Hospital from a few of my clients and decided to try them out. The only issue we have had has been with the front office, and Dr. Miller got them together and they all got on the same page and everything has been great since. Dr. Diehl is the best vet I have ever met. Its not just about the animals, but about people relations, too. She has both down, showing how much she cares about pets just by the way she pets them, holds them, and her general behavior around them, while simultaneously holding a conversation with the pets owner and listening to their concerns and ramblings, and answering their questions and making the worry warts (me) feel much better. My husband and I have 5 dogs and 4 cats, and veterinary care has been a really big stress in my life for a long time, but that weight has been lifted by Dr. Diehl and Duluth Animal Hospital. One of our cats was seen by Dr. Holsten as well and she, like Dr. Diehl, is a wonderful vet who will talk with and listen to you. Dr. Miller has met with my husband and he was friendly, helpful and caring. They arent any more expensive than most of the vet offices in Gwinnett; Id venture to say that they are a little more affordable, actually. All in all, you cant go wrong with Duluth Animal Hospital.

Ive been a client of Duluth Animal Hospital for 25+ years and several dogs. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Dr. Miller runs the best animal hospital in the country, in addition to be so kind and expert in his practice. I especially LOVE Dr. Holson. She is amazing!!! When we had to recently put our 18 year-old Yorkie to sleep, she was so caring and supportive. The entire team made it so much easier. Later, when we brought in our new beagle puppy, it was like it was one of their own. I even saw Dr. Holson in the community and she remembered us and asked about our new puppy. With hundreds of clients, its amazing that she remembered us. It meant a lot. Actually, all of the vets and support staff are amazing. You might spend a bit less elsewhere, but you wont get the care and attention that you get with this tremendous clinic! I especially love that they have gotten so high-tech with their front office practices. It makes it so easy to use them.

They are the best!! It is the least that I can say and do for them. My precious Buster (coton de dulear) had 3 surgeries there. One with Dr Miller (castration procedure of a retained testicle) and two knee surgeries with Dr Kathleen Diehl (ACl in his back legs with two years difference between them). In both cases we had needed specialists!. These Drs are better than a specialist and with reasonable prices. They are pet life savers! In one week after the ACL procedure Buster was walking very well and trying to run. Both are AMAZING! Customer service is awesome, too. Everyone is so helpful and kind!!! You definitely have the feeling that they really do care for your pet. I surely recommend them with no doubt that they are the best!!!!

I just got a new Shar Pei puppy. He was 9 weeks old and began to develop what I feared might be kennel cough over the weekend of July 4th. I was extra worried with the holiday being Tuesday. I called Monday morning and Dr. Beth Niagro was able to see us in less than 30 minutes. I was so afraid of the possibilities. Dr. Beth was so great; friendly, calm, compassionate and came outside to treat us in the parking lot. (Kennel Cough is highly contagious.) In the end my pup had round worms and with antibiotics is on his way to happy, healthy life. Dr. Beth even called to check on his progress during the week. It really meant a lot. I feel like we are in good hands with Duluth Animal Hospital and especially Dr. Beth Niagro.

My family has done 100% of our vet business with Duluth Animal Hospital and I could not recommend them highly enough!! Several generations of cats and dogs have come and gone in our family and the staff have been there from the beginning to the end. Through the years, they have become family themselves. Whether it be Connie, Christi, Barbara, Sandra, Kendall, Julie, Katie, or our personal favorite, Dr. Diehl, you will not find kinder, more knowledgeable, more patient people out there to love your animals. They treat our babies like they are their own and I suggest everyone go there!! And dont forget to peek under the desk when you go in to see who is down there!! There is usually chickens, dogs and all kind of things! :) :)

We brought our dog Mitzi in for her annual shots. Mitzi is a rescue and very afraid of people, although we have had her for three years. JoAnn came into to waiting room to take us into the examining room. Knowing of Mitzis fear she was patient and loving toward her. After talking with JoAnn and answering her questions Dr. Sokol came into the room. She got down to the dogs level trying to gain her confidence. Mitzi was then given her annual shots. Dr. Sokol is very warm and personable and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with her. I have used Duluth Animal Hospital for 14 years. (Unfortunately for several pets) and I have always been very satisfied with the knowledge of the staff and the cleanliness of the office.

We brought our 17 year old ailing cat for a sanitary haircut. The Vet got all the info from the vets office that did lifesaving surgery on him. This was the only Vets office that does this procedure within a reasonable distance from our home. Because of his age and his weakened condition it was certainly appropriate to waive the rabies and another vaccination but the Vet would not do that. When I brought in the cat they insisted that I had to talk to the Vet. He took the cat carrier and tried to shake the cat out of it. I knew there was a problem then. The $85 procedure ended up costing over $250. We picked up our cat on Monday and he was dead by Thursday.

This is without the BEST place to take your dog. My Pumpkin had dental surgery; that I should have had done a long time ago. They took me in the very next morning for complete consultation and I was able to leave her and pick her up late afternoon after the surgery was completed and she was stable and awake. Everyone was very knowledgeable and extremely caring. Dr. D. could not be better. I do not know how they pick their staff; but it is the best staff I have ever had take care of me or my dog. EVERYBODY REALLY CARES. Thank you for taking care of us. I went from being a nervous wreck to being calm. Again thank you I will be forever grateful..God Bless.

Duluth animal hospital is one of the nicest vet offices I have been too. I am new to the area and my dog go sick. I called here and they were able to get Polo in that day. The receptionist Vicki is extremely sweet. We saw Dr. Holson that day. She was wonderful. That night Polo got worst though and I called to get polo seen again and they fit him in that morning. Dr. Holson even called me to see what was going on when she saw polo back on the schedule for the day. The next day she even called and followed up on her day off to make sure Polo was doing okay. I would recommend this vet to anyone. Thank you guys for caring for my baby so much!
