My cat has died about two month ago. I was so sad to write anything. The staff were friendly. The facility was OK. But right now I dont think Dr Sherri has much ability and experience for cat. Firstly, my cat started to vomit anything she ate or drink and keep vomitting some yellow liquid stuff. And most time she just stayed in corner for quite long time. So I brought her to see the doctor and took a x-ray. After hearing my cat used to chew some foam things, the doc checked the x-ray and point some shadow to me, saying that therere somthing big in her stomach, though the x-ray photo did not show anything crazy like needle or coin. I ask if there any way help her pass that out by herself. She said no becuase it was too big. The surgery is only way to fix it. And she kept telling me the next day is weekend. If something wrong, I need go to emergency. I was so worried that my cat could die if nothing done. Then I said OK, please go ahead to save my cat. Its the biggest mistake I ever made. About two hour later I got a call from the doc. Tell what she said. She said theres nothing in her stomach. Oh my god, I reallize something wrong. She kept telling she check other organ like kidney and theyre all OK. She felt one small plastic piece in her intestine. Maybe thats the reason and the cat could pass that out by herself. When I ask why she told me early theres something big in her stomach from x ray and was so positive. She explained that she believed, but the x ray cannot see foam tissues and so she cannot tell the size. Her final judgement is according to what I said that my cat used to chew something. Oh my god we come to see the doc for professional suggestion and solution based on medical check, not only based on cats history. I do think Dr Sherri was so rush to make a right judgement. When we came to check our cat, i couldnot help crying. Shes very weak and dizzy and theres about 4 inch staples in her belly. And she laid on cool metal surface. I did not know how much pain she suffered. But what I can do was just waiting. the cat had to be in hospital overnight. On Saturday early morning we got the call from doc again. The news was very bad. Our cat vomitted something and breath these stuff in her lung. Her lung was infected badly.Oh, god. Im still crying when I writing this. It was toally wrong from the beginning. But I could not change. Xiaobai (the name of our cat) died in the afternoon that day. My family were all heartbroken. We were family for about 8 years and shes so cute and smart, always laying down let us patting her. We miss her very much. I blamed myself always. I was not good owner. I did not take care of my cat who listen to the doc and made the wrong decision. I was so worried and rushed. At least, I should listen to the second suggestion. The first time I feel pain in my heart and I dont want it happen again. The reason I wrote down this is to remind all owners, alway use your mind and think carefully what doc says. Do not simply listen to the doctor. I understand doc could make a mistake, but not this bigger. When life was taken, no one can bring it back and no one knows how much pain youre gonna suffer.

Do not go here they basically killed my cat. I boarded my cat for a week here because I needed someone to watch him more closely because he had kidney disease. What better place to board an animal then the vet when they have a serious condition. I picked him up a week later and noticed that he had the sniffles and looked like he was not felling well. I asked the vet about it before I took him home and they said if he didnt get better to come back in a few days. I took him home and left him with my mom while I took the dog to the park for a few hours. When I got back home my mom was crying and told me that she had thought that my cat had stopped breathing and died while she was holding him. With that being said we went to the animal er and they told me my cat was severely dehydrated and need to have Ive fluids immediately. I could not belive what I was hearing. How is my cat dehydrated I just picked him up from the vet? How did the vet not know that my cat was not drinking water while he was boarded? If you never have to refill the water dish and you know the cat has kidney disease shouldnt this be a huge red flag that there is a problem? So not only did I spend money to board my cat I spent more money at the er in less then 2 hours of taking him home even when I questioned about is health. My cat never fully recovered after this instant and I had to but him down with in 6 months because he would continue to relapse every couple of months because of this. Please save your money and go somewhere else. Companion animal hospital is a great place and the staff are very caring they would even update me in the middle of the night around 10pm to let me know how my cat was doing every time he relapsed. So please consider all of your options when choosing a vet because it may be a matter of life or death in the end.

I brought my puppy in on a Friday morning very ill. They kept him the entire day after a diagnosis was made that he had an intestinal blockage, but refused to treat him because it wouldve required a vet staying late. They instead wanted me to spend 3 times as much money to take him to the emergency clinic after hours. As it ended up, I still had to spend $500 on his care and xrays for his 6 hour stay in which time they monitored him, gave him iv fluids, and did xrays to confirm his blockage. The ER vet wanted 2,000 to do the surgery to remove the blockage. Luckily, I was able to find another vet to take him Friday night AFTER HOURS and operate on him. The new vet did the surgery, kept him over the weekend, and did a follow up for $600. That was just a $100 more than I spent for the 6 hour stay a Lovell. SICK! I would not recommend them to anybody. Its sad, because the office staff seemed very friendly. I just dont agree with their ethics.

With a brand new facility that is second to none, Lovell animal hospital has the most informative and educated staff that is polite and excited to work with their clients and pets. I have a special needs dog that they take extremely good care of! The wait is never very long and the coffee in the waiting room adds a very home induced feeling to the environment. Available parking is spacious, pet boarding rates are very competitive with a nice fenced in area for your pets to stretch their legs. I highly recommend you check them out!!!

I have been taking my two cats here since January 2012. My cat had a UTI and other urinary problems earlier this year and they ended up putting him on urinary SO food. My cat hasnt had any problems since. I have found their facilities to be clean and well kept and their staff to the very friendly. Their prices are not above normal and their prescription food is priced below what I could find online. I suppose they could be selling it at purchase cost to them. They even have helped me out when I couldnt come by before closing time.
