Best dentist Ive ever had! Dr. Schreiber is a master of her field! Extremely intelligent with a great bedside manner. Today I had her perform my second root canal and I was a bundle of nerves when I walked into the office. My pulse was racing and I felt very anxious. She performed the entire procedure with Novacaine only (no sedatives). Just the sound of her voice and concern for my well-being (making sure I felt no pain throughout the procedure), and her telling me what she was doing so I would feel a bit more at ease, was enough for me too relax and even doze off a few times while she fixed my tooth. (I was even able to go to work afterwards and did not have much pain after the novacaine wore off). I love that she thoroughly cares about her patients and does great work. I recommend her highly. She was even able to get my insurance company to approve a crown that kept getting denied by other dentists. It took her 1 1/2 years of requests, xrays, documentations, and photographs, and her persistence finally paid off! I can finally chew food without fear of my tooth breaking or having to be pulled due to a botched root canal from another less qualified dentist in another practice. If you are looking for the best dentist, become a patient of Dr. Schreibers at Dr. Dental in Derby.

Dr. Dental is your no frills kind of dentist, but they get the job done well. My experience with them spans over 3 years, so Ive gotten to know them. Keep in mind that they are in the low budget dental care business. For $57 you can get x-rays, a check-up and a cleaning. Thats the lowest price I have found anywhere. Although the price is low, you do get rather good care. The dentist does the cleaning, not a hygienist. You get expertise, but sometimes they are running from patient to patient with no break. What you dont get is the spacious waiting room, latest magazines, or completely private room (there are no doors in the rooms), but you do get a TV on the ceiling. Best thing about Dr. Dental is the ability to just walk in for a cleaning. On a day that I am running errands, Ill just stop in to see if they have an opening. Basically, its a 50/50 shot that I can get a cleaning then pick up groceries. In short, Dr. Dental is an excellent value!

My husband went there for a cleaning and ended up getting a deep clean treatment due to what the dentist recommended. Spending $900 on credit. He started having tooth pain and with light blood and have to keep spitting every time. He went back for the dentist to check and see whats going on and was told the dentist that does the work left the practice. The new dentist was unable to check and asked for him to do another X-ray and he must pay. My husband left and see another dentist on 12/11/2015 and was told no deep cleaning was done on his teeth for many years now. Even though my husband explained he just had it done 4 months ago for $900. The new dentist states that is false. Im going to sue them for all that money they took from us asap. Do not trust them about taking credit out with carecredit big rip off!!!

The Best Decision that I had made in a while by walking in to Dr.Dental office. From the second I arrived I was treated with excellent costumer service. They did more and above when it came to work with my insurance. The Staff as well as Doctors are extremely professional, caring, thoughtful as well as compassionate about every and each patients. They make You feel like you are a part of the clinics family. I always leave this place feeling special, happy as well as Grateful for everything that they help me with...I am Grateful to Dr. Chan, to amazing Jessica that went out of her way to help me out! as well as to all of the incredible staff that are always there for me when I need Them. Thank You So much for all You Do!

I cracked a top molar in half a couple of weeks ago and not having dental insurance until December limited my options. I must have passed Dr Dental in the ShopRite plaza a couple of hundred times so I decided to give them a call. BEST DECISION in a long time. Every single person from the receptionist to dental assistants to Dr Chen himself, was friendly, courteous, informative and very professional. The service provided was outstanding. Referrals went very smoothly. They went above and beyond what I expected. The facility itself was very clean and modern. The follow-up was thorough. The staff at Dr Dental in Derby should teach a class on customer service. Highly recommend Dr Dental.

Patricia R. im going to give this a 1 star review only because the staff was very friendly...My true bad experience is not with the wait time, staff or cleanliness of the office....it is with the doctor himself for which I felt much like a burden than a patient. The "cleaning" I received took all of 3 mins, consisted of 1 min of water pic cleaner tool and another 2 mins of polish for which he didnt even polish each tooth individually...This doctor definetly needs to hire hygentists because cleaning teeth is definetly beneath him...so sorry I went there, now I have to wait another 6 mos before I qualify for a real cleaning! So not happy!

Well the receptionist have very good customer service skills and very friendly. but everybody else was unprofessional the lady that did my x-rays was very rude and when I told her the object that goes in your mouth for your x-rays it hurts my gums and its pressing against my gums she ignored it. And when you tell them that you have real anxiety about going to the dentist. they tell you well everyone has it. but Im not everyone Im me ....then the doctor comes in and she said oh I have to put a thicker coat on you filling. Im not going to numb you but its going to hurt. and yeah I got up and left at that point.

I am very happy with my experience. I really hate going to the dentist, it always seems there is something wrong with my teeth. They were very professional and didnt push me to get dental work I cant afford. Everything was explained to me fully with a cost for each service and I was able to pick what I would get done And when so I could afford it. They took great care with the xrays and cleaning. I have been to hack dentists that charge a fortune and do a horrible job. This is not the case at Dr Dental. If you are skeptical about going to dentist try them you will change your mind.

I had a dental emergency and was nowhere near my dentist. I walked in to this dental clinic with no appointment and no dental records. Dr. Chae made the time to see me and deal with my issue. He asked me the pertinent questions and handled my situation with professional care. He installed a temporary filling and made sure that it was fitting properly before I left. The staff was professional and put me at ease. I highly recommend this dental clinic. I am so grateful for their willingness to help me when I was in such a bind!
