I had been searching for a Dentist for quite some time. I was scared because I knew I had issues in my mouth and wanted to make sure I was choosing the right dentist to help me take care of them. I had driven past this Dentist office on my way to work and back. A few months later, I ran into serious trouble in my mouth. I could not close my jaw, and I was in serious pain. This is the point where I realized I was in trouble and I needed to find someone I could trust and who would do great quality work. I sat down at my computer and decided to look up that dentist I passed each day. Dr. Bethaney B. Brenner, DMD, LLC. Her website is very well built, informative and made me feel calm. This is when I decided to call her office. From past experience, you never get to talk to the doctor… never. It was her, she was on the phone with me. I was so amazed; it was as if I was calling a friend, yet we had never talked before. We talked about my current mouth issues and soon I was making an appointment. Between the phone conversation and my very first visit she helped me understand how important it was that I did not wait any longer, she was very right. Her office made me feel comfortable, exactly what I was hoping to find. I was so scared; her office staff welcomed me in with open arms. They took x-rays that were so simple I did not even have to get out of the chair. I was able to view each and every x-ray with her and physically see and walk through what was going on with all my teeth. She and her staff helped me understand what I was looking at and what all my options were to help make everything better. I was prescribed some medicine to help bring down the inflammation and fight off infection, and I scheduled an appointment for a Root Canal the very next day. Upon arriving the next day I was scared but calmer. One thing that makes life better at this office is that the staff talks to you and keeps you informed, you feel like a person not a number. Dr. Brenner came in and ran through the entire process of what would be going on for my root canal, as everything got started I began to get really scared and had been in pain for so many weeks with hardly any sleep, tears just came pouring out, I was a mess. She actually took the time to help me calm down, breathe and talked me through this nuclear meltdown and got be back to ground zero. I was so much calmer, ready for what was ahead. As we moved through the process, she kept me informed about what she was doing, what I would be feeling and how comfortable I was. She said to me from the beginning, that I would be amazed at how I feel when this is all over and that I would be laughing about it, she was right. Next thing I know I am looking at the x-ray of my newly fixed tooth, it was perfect and I was laughing. I would highly recommend her for anyone no matter what you are seeking, regular visits or serious issues.

My husband needed a tooth extracted and we were quoted 375 on the phone. When he arrived there was an additional 150 tacked on for the exam. He was then informed, while in the chair, that she "does not believe in narcotics". He tooth was extracted and was infected so she prescribed an antibiotic and something called Lodine (which is an anti-inflammatory) that was supposed to be for pain. A few hours passed and he was in a great deal of pain. I called the office to say that this medication was not touching the pain that was not only in his jaw, but now radiating up to his ear, and asked if she could call in something that would actually relieve the pain, just at least enough to get him through the night. The doctor finally called a few hours later and was completely rude! When my husband told her the medication she had prescribed was not working she said "well youre the first....I guess you like being in "lala land"! Could she be any more rude and unprofessional? How dare her imply that my husband likes "being high", when he just wanted to be out of pain!! Then when I brought the script to CVS she had written it wrong, and gave him 500 mgs of Vicodin, when it was supposed to be 5 mg,..which is the lowest strength. The pharmacist tried calling her to no avail, and I called the office and was told "sorry, were trying to reach her". Her office claims to do emergencies but will not even return a call to the pharmacy, I guess because "she does not believe in narcotics". What joke. It was the night before xmas eve at dinner time and I had to spend an hour in CVS waiting for her to finally call in. She prescribed him 5 pills, which we thought was funny because she prescribed 12 of the previous medication. The pharmacist agreed that she was completely unprofessional and was pretty shocked at the way we were treated. My husband and I are self employed, in the service industry, and would never treat a client the way she treated us. We will be filing a formal complaint. No one should be made to feel like a drug addict because they need pain relief from a tooth extraction!! Btw...he only needed to take two of the five pills, so I guess he does not like to "be in lala land!" after all!. Needless to say we will never use her again. And its her loss because I need 2 wisdom teeth extracted but want sedation and was planning on using her if my husbands experience was a positive one.

This doctor doesnt even deserve one star! Worst visits ever! She told me she was in network so I went to her. During the visit, she sold me a tooth brush which cost me over $120, and I paid cash for it. My annual dentist visit is required by my work and I never paid anything when I went to other doctors. But I received a bill from her. I called the insurance company, at first, the insurance agent said she was out of the network. I then called the doctor to ask her why she said she was in network if she was not? She called me back, said she was in network, the insurance company did not submit the paper work correctly and she was going to fix the issue. A month later, I received another bill from her. I was upset. I thought the issue was taking care of, why am I still being charged?! So I called the insurance company, insurance agent told me she is in the network now, I dont owe her anything. The bill will be taking care of. So I called the doctor back, she was NOT NICE on the phone and said "I will call one last time for you, you need to take care of it next time!". I was speechless, never thought a business owner would say something like that to the client! If it wasnt for me, she probably is still out of the network, and would have loose additional customers! I didnt hear from her for another months. I thought the issue has been taking care of. All of sudden, I received this final notice from her office, saying if I dont pay in 10 days, she will take serious actions. First of all, I never received other notices prior to this letter. Second, she never called me. Third, she charges me interest on the amount. I called the insurance company once again, they told me I dont owe her anything! The insurance agent told me the bill has been taking care of! The insurance paid her already for the full amount! I can tell you right now, she is not as professional as you think. If you dont want to go through what I have been through, youd better think twice before you make the appointment!
