Ive been to Sierra 3 times now with 2 different cats. They are wonderful, reasonably priced (not cheap) but in line with all the other AAHA certified vets Ive been to. Their way with my cats who are notoriously difficult with strangers was absolutely amazing. One other comment. I just had to read the one star review. It turns out that the poster is vehemently against declaw and ear clipping, and is upset because Sierra does it. I have been a cat owner for over 30 years and usually have 4 - 6 at a time. When I brought my first kitten home she was 6 or 7 weeks old. Within the first 1/2 hour she had climbed my drapes and was happily swinging back and forth in a hanging plant. Not good for my living room and very dangerous for the kitten. Needless to say when she wasnt supervised she was locked in a room where she couldnt get into trouble until I called my families vet and asked his opinion. His opinion was "if front declawing makes for a happy family relationship then you should definitely do it. When the kittens are very young it is very easy on them and they recover within a day or two. There are far too many feral and homeless cats that are a direct result of the owners not neutering or declawing." I wonder does this poster feel the same way about circumcisions?

Just moved to the area. Was not actively looking for a vet, but my dog got into something prompting us to find a vet ASAP. Sierra Vet Hospital had great reviews and was closest to our home. Was able to get an appt in 10 minutes. Not sure if that is the norm, but was thankful that they were able to see my dog so quickly despite not being a patient of theirs. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were a pleasure to work with and will be returning with our dog and cat for future well visits.

Clean and super friendly. Theyre so attentive to our pooch, they had absolutely no hesitation with her being a pitbull! They genuinely love her and treat her great! Theyre cognizant of costs, leaving options for what is necessary, what is voluntary or not so necessary, before going through with treatment, so theyre not just sticking you with a bill you have no choice but to just pay. We love this place...very glad we found it!

Everyone at Sierra Hospital was very helpful and kind while taking care of my cat Piper. Piper was 17 years old and started having seizures. With the Doctors help at Sierra we decided it was her time to be put to sleep. Everyone was so kind during this difficult process. My cat will no longer be by my side, but forever in my heart. Thank you Sierra Hospital staff for all you kind words and gifts.

I have been taking my small breed dog to Sierra Animal Hospital for nearly 5 years and would not go anywhere else. They are the best. They are prompt, kind courteous and she actually loves going there. Dr Sierra answers all my questions and if I have to pick up heart worm or flea and tick meds, its easily done with a quick stop by. The staff are so pleasant.

Ive been taking my 2 dogs to Dr. Sierra since I brought them each home. The staff there is always awesome - friendly, helpful & kind. Dr. Sierra (or any of the other vets really) are always wonderful to deal with. Going to Sierra Animal Hospital is like going to visit extended family. I would highly recommend this vet to everyone - you wont be disappointed!

The Staff and Vets at Sierra Animal Hospital have very accommodating when I needed to have my cats seen. They are very professional, caring, and compassionate people. They always call the next day to follow up and have been very good at calling with lab results and other reports as soon as they are received. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

Offering coupons to multilate cats and dogs (declawing and ear cropping) is absolutely disgusting. This place needs to reevaluate why it is in business, money or to actually be of assistance to innocent animals. As it appears to be the latter I wouldnt trust them with caring for any animal. Utterly repugnant.

Dr. Sierra did oral surgery on both of our dogs and did a fantastic job . One dog had 13 teeth pulled and the other had 7 teeth pulled . The dogs recovered and healed quickly and did not seem to require much pain medicine . And the whole team was great , prices were fair and not exorbitant . Thank you SAH

Again, Hudson was treated and cared for professionally and with love. Her dog bite will heal and we will be back to walking our neighborhood. Caution, dont try to be a hero and take a loose dog home while you are walking your dog. Not worth the bite or the fight. Learned the hard way. Tried to be nice.

Our dog Sadie hurt herself one Saturday morning We called several vets and they were either closed or didnt have time to see her The folks at Sierra said bring her in and the took care of her even stayed a little over closing time They were caring and patient
