My entire experience was amazing. I have already recommended my wife, mother, father, and extended family change their dentist. Its hard to quantify what makes a practice great, but I will try. Office is clean, spotless, and has state of the art equipment. The hygienist and practitioner are AMAZING. After the x-rays and evaluation the doctor spent about 15 minutes explaining exactly what was going on with each of my teeth, while showing me on the monitor, explaining what the risks were both short term and long term. Honestly every step of the way everyone would explain what was happening and I just felt very comfortable. When the doctor made his recommendations at the end of my visit, the recommendations were based what he had seen and what he had reviewed with me earlier. The actual procedures were the least painful I have ever experienced. Throughout the procedure he explained what was happening and what he was doing so nothing came as a surprise. When it came time to schedule the next appointment it had nothing to do with how much was left on my insurance, he said to make sure he was comfortable, and that I shouldnt try to do too much in one appointment. I have avoided going to a dentist regularly for a long time because I always felt like they were trying to perform procedures based on how much insurance I had and not what I actually needed. I also dont often write reviews unless I have a great experience. I have found my dental practice and you should definitely change yours!

This was my 3rd visit to Sonrisas and Smiles Dental Care and as with my previous visits, this one was wonderful!!! I went in for my 6 month cleaning and had the honor of having Dr. Aguilar-Garcia himself do my cleaning!!! As usual, Dr. Aguilar-Garcia was very gentle with the sensitive areas around my teeth and if the area was TOO sensitive, he took EXTRA precaution not to make it uncomfortable for me. Maria assisted Dr. Aguilar-Garcia and she too was very gentle with my sensitive areas. I also have to commend the front desk staff...due to my busy work schedule, I had to reschedule my appointment about 2 or 3 times and the staff was very accommodating. The day of my appointment, it was raining and accidents on the road. I called the office to let them know I was stuck in traffic, and once again, they were accommodating and gave me a 15 minute grace period. I will continue to use Sonrisas and Smiles Dental Care for my dental needs and refer family and friends.

Best dentist experience I have had. I am 46 years old and rarely go to the dentist due to past assembly line like, impersonal, painful experiences. Usually ending up feeling like they "found" something that requires extra work that I rarely believed was there to begin with. Dr. Aguilar-Garcia is not that guy. This is his own practice, and it is evident that he takes pride in his work and is a man of integrity. He took his time to explain what is going on and was always conscientious of my comfort. I will return and I will recommend him.

Im one of those super nervous dental people who avoided the dentist for 11 years, and now need lots of work done. Dr. Aguilar could not be more gentle, kind, and well-mannered. After my first consult with them, all my nerves were gone. He is very well-spoken, explains things well in a way I can understand, and I really like his approach -- do the big things first, watch the small things and see if they become bigger, dont mess with it if it isnt causing a problem. Im so glad I found this office!

I hesitated going to a new dentist because to me its never a happy experience. My visit to Sonrisas & Smiles was very pleasant. The office was clean and welcoming, the staff was wonderful and Dr. Aguilar Garcia was very gentle and took time to explain my x-rays and make suggestions. He listened and answered my questions and I never felt rushed. I can honestly say that Im relieved that I found a great new dentist whom I feel very comfortable with!
