What an amazing place from beginning to end. I cant begin to say enough good things about this office. Tracey the receptionist was awesome when I called in. My dog dislocated his hip this past weekend and they took me right in Monday afternoon from my vet’s referral. Dr. Thomas and her assistant were very thorough and explained in detail what they were going to do. No surprises one price for everything. I called the day of his surgery (Tuesday morning), because I had forgotten to give two of his medications to them and they told me how Cubbie was doing and let me know they would call me before and after his surgery. They were true to their word. He did great. I called the next morning to see how he was and again the overnight staff was awesome in taking time to tell me how he was doing. If your dog needs surgery this is the place you want to come. They are caring, kind, thorough, efficient, fast and extremely friendly. Thank you all for your care.

I recently took my dog to Dr. Hay at Veterinary Surgical Services for cruciate surgery on his back knee. I highly recommend Dr. Hay and Veterinary Surgical Services, and would not go anywhere else should he need their care again. All of the staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. I received a call immediately after my dog entered recovery, and when I called after hours to check on him my calls were answered promptly, and the staff member that answered the phone was very knowledgeable and up to date on how my dog was doing. I felt at ease knowing that my dog was in such good hands with people who truly care about your pet and will treat them as if it is their own. My dog had surgery 8 weeks ago and is recovering extremely well. I am very happy with how he is progressing, and it is great to see him back to his normal self since before surgery he was barely using his leg and in so much pain.

We decided to drive past numerous other qualified vets with our puppy from North Orlando based on the reputation and references we had for VSS. And we couldnt be happier about our decision. From CJ up front to the vet tech giving our post op instructions (TPLO knee surgery) everyone was professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and most of all very hospitable and caring for Huckleberry for the 3 day stay. I couldnt recommend these guys more to anyone in need of surgical services. You will not regret your decision.

I had such a positive experience with Dr. Thomas and my 5yr old American Bulldog. Dr. Thomas was very informative and went through each possible procedure with me in great length. I am most satisfied with my pets recovery. I am having to prevent her from over doing it due to her feeling so well. Her incision healed beautifully and she is acting as though nothing ever happened. Many thanks to the entire staff who was very accommodating to me and my pup.

I had a great experience with the doctors and staff. My 6 yr old american pit bull terrier broke his leg. Dr Thomas did the surgery. She did an awesome job. He has no scar and no limp. The staff was great even when I called at 3 am and about half a dozen times during the day. The break was so bad they kept him for a month. I couldnt have asked for a better place for my pet. They went above and beyond the call of duty.

Took my dog for a consultation yesterday and seen dr Thomas who was EXTREMELY informative and nice and explained everything to us that needed to be done! Blue pearl lied to me about what surgery my dog needed and was going to charge me 7,000 to do both knees on my dog and dr.thomas said only the left knee needed to be done right away still costing me way less!!! Only $2,100!!! Dr.thomas is amazing!!

Our vet Debbie Drake referred us to Dr. Hay when our cat hurt his ACL & we were considering surgery to correct it. The staff & Dr. Hay were wonderful with our cat who is a rescue & is a bit skittish. Dr. Hay recommended a conservative approach of no surgery but xrays to verify nothing else was wrong. We very much appreciated that he didnt rush to surgery. We loved him & highly recommend him.
