Before she opened this hospital, I have followed Dr Fournier from 2 other clinics she worked at. I first met her after going through 2 other veterinarians at the same clinic and knew right away that she was the perfect vet. In addition to being very knowledgeable in her field, what struck me was her genuine compassion for animals. She was always enthusiastic with my dog. You can tell she loves animals and this is more than just a job to her which is very important. When she opened up her own clinic on the other side of town, that did not deter me at all from making the trip because she is first class all the way and is very reasonable. If you are new to animal ownership and are unsure or looking for a veterinarian, I promise you she will not disappoint. And the bonus is that she has the perfect staff to complement her as well. Her tech Thomas is very knowledgeable as well and could fool you into thinking he is a veterinarian. He shares the same compassion for animals as well.

Tara and Tom were both great. I adopted a dog about a month ago and chose this vet based on a friends recommendation. Tom spent a ton of time answering all of my new dog owner questions. Tara was equally helpful and thorough with her exam. They were both very friendly and seemed to really care about me and my new dog, Obi. I would recommend them to everyone. Since then, Ive actually called with questions and Tara was happy to help me out. Theyve got a patient for life with me and Obi.

We lost our beloved 13 1/2 year old Golden - Max a few weeks ago. I will never forget how the doctor got down on the floor and she cried with us. It touched my heart more than I could ever convey! More than that, it shows her depth of commitment and devotion, her love, and compassion in what she does everyday! The care and support that they all showed us -and Max- and all of the efforts leading up to that sad day was just beyond words! THIS should be your vet!

Dr. Fournier and Thomas are both incredible. They knew tons of information specific to my dogs breed (GSP) and they were more than happy to take my phone calls whenever I had questions. You can tell they both care deeply and do all they can to help. Oddly enough, my dog actually goes crazy excited when we pull up to the vet and gets mad when we have to leave. I will never go to another vet and highly recommend Sunset Park Animal Hospital.

Ditto to everything posted here. Compassionate staff. Knowledgeable staff. Tara, Thomas and Candace are simply good people who know what theyre doing and have a great bedside manner for the pet parents. They genuinely care; something not so common these days. I cant say my boys enjoy going there, LOL--theyre stubborn dachshunds after all--but I sure do enjoy our visits to Sunset Park Animal Hospital.

Dr. Fournier and her staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. They make me feel as though my dog is always getting "special" treatment -- I am sure all of their patients feel that way. My dog actually gets excited about going to the vet! Sunset Park is great about follow-up and they are always familiar with my dogs history and idiosyncrasies. I highly recommend Sunset Park Animal Hospital!

Dr. Fournier is one of the most compassionate and caring veterinarians I have ever gone too. She diagnosed and prescribed a cure for my rescue cat Lily in one visit when no other vets could find a cure in over a year. I always appreciate the way she greets me when I arrive. She is always on time with her appointments and I have never had to wait.

I am one of those lucky pet owners who have pets that LOVE going to the vet! Dr. Fournier and Thomas are so friendly AND knowledgeable (in my opinion this can be hard to find). They always take the time to explain whats going on with my kids so when I get home I know what to do! Sunset Park will definitely be my animal hospital for life!!

Dr. Tara Fournier and her assistant Thomas are genuine human beings who truly are concern with your pets general health. Their prices are more than reasonable and from my experience do not do any unnecessary procedures. They are an asset to the pet community since they understand that your pet is part of your family.

I was in Tampa on vacation with my pups and we had an incident at the dog beach. They saw us immediately and fixed my little ones paw right up! Everyone was so sweet and very conscious of the pain my pup was in. Hopefully we dont return this trip, but if I lived here I would certainly be back!
