I think we can all agree that not every vet office is created equally. I have not only heard horror stories, but have experienced horror stories of vets making up illnesses in dogs to perform expensive surgeries or treatments to profit. I was VERY scared about finding a new vet in Tampa. I read reviews of every vet in the Tampa Bay area and decided that Beach Park Animal clinic seemed to be the best bet. We made an appointment and they were able to get us in the very next day. When we walked in, the lady who greeted us, clearly loved dogs, she gave our dog a treat and had me fill something out. When we were taken in the back, Dr. Weber and his assistant were very gentle and comforting for our dog who is terrified of the vet. His assistant held our dog and pet him the whole time, while Dr Weber gave him treats in between each new thing he checked and did. After some time, our dog even stopped shaking. They told us to stop in when we are in the area even just to pick up some treats so that our dog doesnt only associate that place with needles, I thought that was very kind and thoughtful. I feel like our dog is really safe in Dr. Webers hands and in the care of Beach Park Animal Clinic. I am telling everyone I know about them, dogs deserve the best, and this is the best.

Ive been to many, many vets before with my 7.5 year old, 70 lb dog, and Beach Park Animal Clinic is far and away the best. Dr. Weber has the gentlest, calmest, and most affectionate manner that you could ask for when he interacts with my dog Tex. Tex has not historically been the biggest fan of vets, but he loves Dr. Weber and the rest of the staff at Beach Park Animal Clinic, and so do my husband and I. Dr. Weber really takes care to spend time with you and answer all of your questions. I always leave the vet feeling better than I do when I come in. And he truly does provide great care. Tex has a chronic back condition due to a bad fall he took when chasing the ball 6 months ago (he slipped a disc), but Dr. Weber has been great about helping us manage it and make sure that Tex stays comfortable and healthy despite his injury. I really couldnt speak more highly of the staff, either. They are responsive, helpful, friendly, and seem happy to work where they do. I was referred to this vet by a friend of mine who is the biggest animal lover I know, and I couldnt be happier with my decision since great vets are hard to find. I highly recommend this place!

Trying to find the best care for our three cats, we had been to at least four other vet clinics in Tampa over about 10 years. We were introduced to Beach Park Animal Clinic when Dr. Weber saved my brother-in-laws very ill young kitty five years ago, a cat whom another vet advised had no hope and to euthanize her. We were so impressed by Dr. Webers going the small extra step that saved her that we started taking our babies to BPAC too. We have been so happy with our decision. The staff and vets are helpful, patient, and all very calming to stressed pets and their human guardians. The clinic itself is built to maintain that calm by having separate dog and cat waiting areas, and we have never encountered overbooked/overlapped appointments. Somehow they always allow enough time to answer questions in full. Though my brother-in-laws family and we have moved farther away from the clinic, neither of us will change vets. We all appreciate BPAC and will continue with them as long as theyll have us!

Dr Weber is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! When you schedule an appointment ask for him specifically. We were told by another vet that our senior cat was dying and needed to be put down. After seeing Dr Weber over 2 years ago not only is she doing well, she is thriving. He gave us inexpensive treatment options that we can do at home and helped us save her life. He understands not only what the animal is going through but what you are going through, he gets it. I have also brought in a couple feral cats that needed attention and he treated them with the same respect and compassion that he used to treat our family pet. Dont be put off by the age of the building, this is a top notch facility. The staff keep the costs low by not guilting you into a bunch of expensive and unnecessary tests. The best possible treatment for very reasonable prices. I wish Dr Weber was my doctor too. I give him 5 stars and my utmost appreciation and respect.

Dr. Weber is the best in South Tampa! My senior kitty is experiencing age related behavioral problems. Dr. Weber showed much knowledge and understanding of her condition. His approach to recommendations and treatment was both compassionate and reasonable, a far cry from my previous veterinarian. His willingness to "trial run" medication on my kitty, rather than sell me an expensive supply of something that may/may not resolve the problem is much appreciated. Not only are we trying out the meds, we are also working to find the best dosage, before I commit to the long term treatment. Beach Park staff is accommodating and warm, the facility is comfortable and clean. Dr. Weber, Lauren and Michelle made feel like an appreciated pet owner, not another income stream. My kitty is in good hands now and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend Beach Park Animal Clinic for all your veterinarian needs.

Dr. Ray and Dr. Weber are AWESOME!! The staff at Beach Park Animal Clinic is kind, compassionate and professional! We take our dog and cat to Beach Park. The dog sees Dr. Ray and the cat sees Dr. Weber! They feel like they have their own personal doctors! Both Dr Ray and Weber go above and beyond the call of duty. I trust them completely. They are patient and really spend time with the animals and then offer the best advice and solutions. When I took my cat in to be neutered, she was running a slight temperature (which I wasnt aware of). Dr. Weber called me after I dropped her off and advised that we wait until she was feeling 100% before we did the surgery. He didnt want to take any chances with her. I was very grateful for that. I highly recommend Beach Park Animal Clinic. You wont find a better place to take your fur-babies. I promise you that

I have been taking my cats to Beach Park for almost 25 years. Dr. Ray, while never a warm cuddly guy ( to people) has helped me keep some very fragile pets alive and well with unwavering attention and support and a high level of skill. He has now semi-retired and has brought in Dr Weber some years ago to take over. He is the best vet you could ask for. Not only caring and attentive, but highly skilled and extremely current in his practice. Beth, the office manager, and the rest of the staff will bend over backwards to help. They have called me to follow up on a treatment, referred me to specialists when appropriate and always been available. This is not a high-tech impersonal factory, but the personalized kind of health care I wish I could find for myself!

I agree with he other reviewer in regard to Dr. Ray. He really needs to retire and I think thats why Dr. Weber is in place. Ive taken my dogs here several times in the past few months for various reasons. Each time we happened to get Dr. Weber. Most recently we saw Dr. Ray and it never occurred to me until then that I needed to request Dr. Weber specifically. Dr. Ray was rather rude and condescending. Dr Weber has always been very kind and will always defer to the pet owner, He sort of offers advise moreso than telling you what you should or shouldnt do. I really like the other staff members also. Lauren does a great job running the front office!
