Dr. Brown and the NUCCA method have helped me in a way that gave me my life back. I am a professional that works with individuals with special needs that have extreme behaviors in the education system (i.e. therapeutically physical and hands on) and a nationally sponsored vegan triathlete. However, after 2 total loss car accidents in 5 months, I was left with two herniated discs in my Lumbar and Cervical columns and was not able to train or compete. During this time I was having over 4 and half hours of treatment a week consisting of hour and a half long sessions of: hydrotherapy, traction tables, massage therapy, chiropractic adjustments and neuromuscular electrical stimulation with ice therapy. I was in debilitating pain on a daily basis and could barely turn my neck or walk without pain. I refused to take pain medications, do the spinal injections or the spinal surgery that was recommended to me to fix the problem (empty promises), as those options do not resonate with my lifestyle or person. When I came to this office, it was my last hope, because I accepted that my life was never going to be the same and it would only be a matter of time before the pain got so bad I would have to do the surgery. In 30 days exactly, my posture was significantly better, I started sleeping better, the headaches were gone, I was able to gain full range of motion in my neck, and my back/neck pain is minimal and at times, non-existent. My adjustments arent scary like the ones I had had in the past and the entire process takes less than 5 minutes. Had I not gone through what I went through, I would never believe my story if someone else told me, but I am proof that this form of treatment works. I am the most grateful, because now I have a way to treat myself so that I dont have to go through the pain I was in, due to subluxation and herniation impinging on my nervous system, or the pain becoming worse as degeneration in my spinal cord and spine continued. As I stay on my course, I am hopeful to live a life without pain medications, epidural shots, steroid crèmes, or spinal surgery. Because of the NUCCA method and professionals like Dr. Brown who makes this treatment accessible to the public, I have learned and still learning that, the power that made the body, heals the body. _/|\_Namaste_/|\_

I started chiropractic treatment at Friends & Family Spinal Care on June 2015. From the moment of my first appointment to nearly a full year later, my experience has been beyond incredible. I learned about Dr. Brown through work a month before my first appointment. Having suffered from degenerative disc disease since I was 19 (Im 27 as of this review), I was desperate for a solution to my chronic back problem. Although not debilitating to the point of immobility, I was in constant pain and had trouble working out since I was more prone to injury. I also have a very sedentary lifestyle working in technology, so not being able to establish a consistent workout routine was a big problem to my overall health. I decided to make an appointment at Friends & Family Spinal Care, the last resort available before looking into more invasive options. I say last because Ive always heard to avoid chiropractors for treating my back issue as they are known to make it worse. Thankfully, I had also recently heard the opposite of the NUCCA approach - practiced by Dr. Brown and his team of chiropractors - as it focuses on gentler adjustments. Either way, I was pretty scared going into my first appointment because Id never visited a chiropractor before and had no idea what to expect. From the moment I stepped into the office, it was an incredibly supportive and positive experience. The entire staff has always been friendly and willing to answer any questions I have, which are usually a lot no matter where I go. In the last year, Ive gone from needing two adjustments a week to not needing one for the last two months. More importantly, I rarely feel back pain! Of course, actual results can vary from person to person. In experience, though, I found it very manageable to make small adjustments to my lifestyle and routine to get to this point. My experience at Friends and Family Spinal Care has literally changed my life. I have been a patient since April this year and from my very first adjustment I immediately noticed an incredible difference - 10 years of back pain was suddenly lessened significantly. I had grown so accustomed to carrying around that pain that I didnt realize just how much it had been holding me back until it was gone. I cried with relief on the drive home that day. My posture has improved immensely and other people have noticed the changes. Its not only the back pain that has been alleviated. Before I started treatment at Friends and Family Spinal Care I suffered through 10-12 debilitating headaches each month. Now that number is down to maybe 5 a month. My balance and focus has improved and I have noticed a better general sense of well being. All this has made me more productive both at work and at home. The office is clean and welcoming and the staff there are amazing! I cannot say enough good things about everyone working there. The front desk staff are very friendly and the doctors really make you feel valued and cared about. You really feel like you are among people who genuinely care about you and your well being. I am so happy with the experience I have had - and continue to have - at Friends and Family Spinal Care. I only wish that I had visited much sooner. Please, if you suffer from back pain, headaches, etc make sure to visit their office and see if they can help. It may just change your life too.

It is such a pleasure to come to this office for treatments. In nearly a year of treating with Dr. Brown twice a week, every single person I have ever encountered at this office is unfailingly cheerful. Not just once or twice. Every. Single. Day. To me, thats simply remarkable! And Im never kept waiting to see the doctor. I always feel warmly welcomed here, and I sense that my time is considered just as valuable as the doctors time. This is so unlike what I have experienced in many other doctors offices where I know I can always expect to wait an hour past my appointment time before I am called back to see the doctor. Elsewhere, the people who run the front desk are constantly evading eye contact with a room full of patients who are understandably upset that their appointment times are not honored. This unique combination of timeliness and uplifting interactions with every doctor and every office team member at Friends and Family Spinal Care is a very rare combination--one that is virtually never found in any other South Florida medical practice Ive visited. If you are considering treatment at Dr. Browns medical practice, I would encourage you to give them a try. The treatments I have had here are quick and totally pain-free. And the people are head and shoulders above what you have likely experienced elsewhere. I do not think you will be disappointed.

When I first visited the office I was in severe, debilitating pain from my neck. My hands and arms ached, and I couldnt lift anything at all. I was unable to move my neck to the right because of the mistreatment given to me by a different chiropractor. Although my overall health was good, I was beginning to feel like an invalid from the pain in my neck. Within a few visits to Friends and Family Spinal Care I was feeling much better...and no longer needing my neck brace, and within a few months I was able to resume my regular activities and carry a purse again. I now swim regularly to build up the strength in my arms and maintain my health, and jog several miles a day. I feel wonderful. It has now been just over a year since I started going to this office and I am healed and healthy again... I recently took a trip to Europe and carried my own bags, slept in hotel beds and generally enjoyed myself.. I now look forward to my future and spending time with my children...I can not express enough gratitude for the care I have received. Post Script: I have now been a patient for about three years, and my healing has been continuous, and my improvement is obvious even on Xray. I am no longer in pain at all, and I live a normal life, with a full schedule. Your health is too precious to gamble with...
