Unfortunately, growing up I was not taught how to take care of my teeth. Not blaming my parents they werent raised that way either. We only went to the dentist to get a tooth pulled when it hurt so badly we couldnt function. The only dentist I had visited was a man so rough that I would have panic attacks at the thought of going to him. Some of you know who Im referring to. As a result I was in danger of loosing all my teeth. Finally realizing the importance of dental care, I started going to different dentists and asking what I could do. None were interested in helping me...period. They all had the same attitude...."youre too far gone" and refused to discuss any treatment with me . Then I met Dr. Sue VanBlaricum. She asked me to come in and shed have a look. After the examination she said, " Yes, we can stop further damage". I cant describe how I felt. Before my first visit to Dr. VanBlaricum I had lost six of my permanent teeth. That was near 20 years ago. Since then I havent lost another tooth and my gums are healthy. She is gentle and an amazing and compassionate dentist and person who really cares about your smile. With her care and If you will follow her instruction I am confident that you too will have a healthy smile. I no longer have anxiety attacks at the thought of going to the dentist!!!! Thank you Dr. Sue VanBlaricum! Thank you so much! You saved my teeth! You and your staff are the best!!!!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Sue and her staff for many years. I used to drive all the way to Nashville because I was "sure" the dentists were better there! I discovered Dr. Sue and never went back to Nashville. I go twice yearly for check ups and cleaning and my teeth are in great shape. A few years ago I had to have a front tooth crown replaced. This was about the 5th time in 50 years...and yet Dr. Sues work and the lab that made the crown were the best Id ever had. I cant say enough good things about this office. Everyone on staff is delightful and its just pleasure to be a patient there!

Doctor is rude, and has horrible bedside manners! I am currently pregnant, and I had pulsing in my tooth during the procedure. I became nauseous, and the doctor stated "your overreacting" in a snobby tone of voice. I have never been treated with such disrespect. My new dentist office said "they would never treat their clients that way". I am very grateful I left that office! I actually loved the entire staff, obviously besides the doctor. The lady assisting the doctor was so kind. She was patient with me, and polite.

I started going to Dr. Sue with gum disease 7or 8 years ago. They treated the gum disease as long as possible so this year in March I had the last 3 teeth pulled and had mini implants put. Everyone who has dentures know the bottom plate is the hardest to adjust to and eat with. I must say I can now eat anything I want and I love the implants. No trips to Nashville or out of town because it was all done right here in Lafayette. Hats off to Lafayette Family Dentistry.

I still have nightmares of going to a dentist when I was a child. I will have to say that this office is nothing like that. The staff is very friendly, cooperative, and my appointments are always on time. The dentist/doctor has always given me the best service and results possible. I also took my elderly mother there and they were exceptional with her. I can highly recommend this office to anyone.

I initially went to Dr VanBlaricum due to an emergency. She was so kind, and explained everything in great detail. After treatment, the office even called the next day to check on me. She and her staff are wonderful, kind, and amazing people. I also referred my mother to her. Im proud to say shes now my familys regular dentist.

Will refuse any type of treatment until youve paid in full for anything...completely ridiculous and greedy...hope my infection doesnt spread further because of her refusal.
