I absolutely LOVE her! PROFESSIONAL, KIND, TAKES MEDICARE! She has been my Dermatologist since 2005, when she was still at the JPS Clinic, in Arlington. I followed her, HAPPILY(!), to private practice. Weve been through biopsies, rashes, itches and freckle-checking, medical peel and Botox (I call it "magic", start at 35 or so, it lasts longer over time... started at 36. Lucky enough to not need them again till 40! (Those results are NOT guarenteed by Dr Serralta or makers of Botox... just MY LUCK & CARE OF MY FACE, PLUS GOOD GENES AND REGULAR USE OF SUNSCREEN!) She also happens to be lovely and charming and one of my FAVE docotors, and I have MANY Drs... TAKES THE TIME TO HEAR YOU OUT & RESPONDS THOUGHTFULLY & expertly. But she CANNOT DO IT ALONE! You are a main factor in the care of your skin, and talk to her about what it is. Dont use abrasive scrubs, unless she says thats right for your skin, any hints, etc., or the like. Wash your face as often is as right for the moisture & oil levels in your skin. ALMOST NO GIRL UNDER 20 NEEDS MOISTURIZER, BUT SHOULD WEAR SUNSCREEN! Wear sunscrean, everyone. All year-long. Skin is like teeth, you only get ONE SHOT! DONT END UP LIKE STAINED LEATHER AND FULL OF MELANOMA. That said, I followed her out to this mind-bendingly far-away building. Shes worth it.

Dr. Serralta, her office manager, and the rest of her staff are outstanding! I have been a patient of hers for a few years and I have received excellent care every single time. Dr. Serralta is very friendly, professional, and extremely thorough. She takes time to answer all of my questions and supports me in making important decisions about my skin health. I have had several biopsys throughout my lifetime and Dr. Serralta and her staff are by far the most gentle and skilled with their procedures. Due to my trust in her and her staff, my mother and father in-law will be traveling over 9 hours next week just to see Dr. Serralta and we are so grateful for their willingness to accommodate us. Dr. Serralta treats our entire family and has for several years. Her calm, sweet demeanor is very comforting. She listens carefully without making you feel rushed. She makes you feel like a friend, rather than a patient even when discussing serious and sensitive health issues. Her staff is very friendly, professional and attentive. Anytime I have called with a question, I get a call back quickly. It is obvious it a great plave to work. Dr. Serralta is extremely knowledgeable in her field and I cant recommend her enough.

Private Mail

Place is great. Only two stars because the waiting time is HORRIBLE! They way over book their appointments. Ive never had an appointment where I didnt have to wait less than 1 1/2 hours. It is very inconvenient when people set their appointment during their lunch hour with only one hour to spare. They should be considerate of peoples time and avoid over booking.

Although this office was very nice when my daughter had an appointment for her acne, when I needed to be seen on an emergency basis due to a SEVERE RASH, I was told I could not be seen for nearly two weeks. I asked if they had provisions for emergency appointments for cases like mine and was told NO. Guess my daughter will be going somewhere else as well.

I have been calling for the past few days, trying to get an appointment with Dr. Serralta. No one ever answers the phone, and they do not return phone calls. I guess Ill find a different doctor that will let me schedule an appointment. *Edit: I have changed my review because they did call me back!

I have been seeing Dr. Serralta for years. Her staff is quick, accurate, and professional. She is an excellent physician. She listens and remembers and truly cares about her patients. It is so refreshing to get in and out in a timely manner, and get such great care!

Dr. Serraltas office does not respect my time. They called to make sure I would show up.....but after arriving on time for my appointment and waiting well over an hour I left without seeing Dr. Serralta. No explanation or apology given for why things were so backed up.
