My family is somewhat new to Issaquah Dental Arts. We were referred by some friends because of their very high-tech equipment and the friendly, professional environment. So far, our experience has been “EXCELLENT.” Issaquah Dental Arts ensures your comfort, and the equipment they use IS VERY HIGH TECH! The x-rays are digital which make me feel better about not using as much radiation. After the x-rays, you can see an entire image of your entire mouth on a computer in front of you - and it is instant! I visited this week (December 4th) and it was determined that I needed a new crown because mine was chipped. I asked if I could get my crown prior to the end of the year since I had already paid my annual deductible. They said this was not a problem and scheduled an appointment. I asked if it was possible to get everything done by year’s end (temporary, crown, etc.) and they said no problem because they make the crown right there and with their equipment temporaries are no longer needed!! They have a machine right there that digitally makes an impression of the tooth -- so no old fashioned, gooey tooth molds are needed!! Wow, I was beyond impressed with that! The office manager, Tasha, my hygienist, Trevi, and both dentists (Merkel and Hansen) are very friendly and professional. Again, EXCELLENT service and I would highly recommend them!!Rita M. Reed

I can honestly say I am a fan and believer of what Issaquah Dental Arts is capable of. I used to dred going to the dentist. I used to put off dental visits for fear of pain and discomfort based on my past experiences. That is no longer the case what so ever. I look forward to my bi-annual cleanings and check ups. I look forward to getting issues fixed in my mouth. I have had some original fillings replaced with white porcelain and love that my teeth dont have gray/black pits anymore. I have had some crowns put in and I must say - I dont get anxious anticipating how bad its going to be because its not bad anymore. I highly recommend Issaquah dental Arts and their very friendly staff. They go above and beyond when it comes to accommodating you and your schedule. Give them a call the next time you have a choice to make regarding dental care for you and your family.

I have been coming here a long time and i love the place. Issaquah dental arts is very clean, friendly and concerned about your health. Trevi has been cleaning my teeth forever and she is the best. Very gentle, caring and wonderful skills. The dentists will answer your questions. Spend time with you until all your question are answered and are not in a hurry. I fell very welcome there and that they care greatly about my dental care. Tasha is the best receptionist and willing to work around your schedule and make appointments that are best for you, She sends out post cards and emails reminding you of your appointments. She is also very quick to respond back to you if you have emailed or left a message. Again a great, friendly atmosphere and loving staff. Thanks for all your Care!!! Carrie Schirado

Dr Hansen and co. are the most wonderful folks Ive ever had the privilege of working with. They honestly care about the entirety of your oral health in a very holistic fashion -- theyve been so kind and compassionate to me and Im only halfway through my treatment! Dr Hansen has this wonderful ability of not only providing top-notch dental care, but also doing so in a way that makes you feel like youre in the hands of a trusted friend. Tasha and the front office staff are not only professional but a real pleasure to work with - much kudos is due to Tasha, who understands the weird and wonderful world of dental insurance like no other. I have referred and recommended all my friends to this practice, and will continue to do so indefinitely.

I’ve been a patient at Issaquah Dental Arts for about 12 years and can’t imagine going anywhere else. I just had my 6-month appointment and as always, left there knowing that I had been well taken care of. The entire staff is friendly and professional. Trevi is the most gentle and patient hygienist. What a relief, after years of painful cleanings at other dentists. Tasha is a wonderful Office Manager. She always has a warm greeting and is very patient as we email back and forth about rescheduling an appointment. Dr. Merkel is a great dentist and does excellent work. Truly, there isn’t one thing that I would change about Issaquah Dental Arts. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great dental care.

Its outside of my insurance network and its outside of my neighborhood, but I just cant bear the thought of leaving the fine folks at Issaquah Dental Arts. Everyone is the most friendly you can imagine. The hygenists and dentists are super gentle with their work and take great care to know you and what is going on in your life. You literally feel like you are heading over to your familys house to get your teeth cleaned. :) Issaquah Dental Arts has all the latest technology and is very modern in all their procedures, which always makes me feel like im getting the best care possible. I cant say enough great things about these guys! Never leaving! :)

I have been a patient with Issaquah Dental Arts for 3+ years now and I will never consider another dental practice. They have a first class staff. The amenities are great. They have coffee, drinks and sometimes free golf balls (Awesome!!) I just recently had another crown done and was very skeptical given my last crown experience (It was prior to Isaaquah Dental Arts). However, Dr. Hansen performed the procedure and walked me through the entire process and like others have mentioned, performed the entire procedure in one sitting and my crown feels great. Thank you Dr. Hansen, Dr. Merkel & The Entire Staff for a great experience

I absolutely love Issaquah Dental Arts. The entire staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. I love that I can watch tv while they are working on me - it helps me to relax. My cleanings are always done with a gentle hand and it is nice that they can schedule me for my next appointment right there instead of having to go back up front. When I had a dental emergency they were quick to respond to my voicemail even though the office was closed and the doctor was out of town at a conference. I highly recommend Issaquah Dental Arts.

By far one of my most favorite dental groups I have ever been to.The staff is absolutely the best!! They are always happy, always treat you with care and smiles. Just got back from my 6 month appointment. As usual, I had a smooth and pleasant visit from the warm greeting by Tasha to the handshake from Dr Hansen. Trevi has been my hygienist for several years now and makes each experience so smooth and pleasant. Dr. Hansen is my new dentist now and he made me feel comfortable and confident even today when we had to do a procedure slightly out of the ordinary. I look forward to my next appointment in May.
