Anne impressed me so much. She was thorough, efficient, found tartar on my front teeth where no other hygienist has before, was very friendly and good at listening while still staying on top of the appointment tasks, and just seemed so caring and also honest. She explained the procedures and their purposes before she did them, and even warned me that the water might drip before it did. She really encouraged me to ask questions if I had any and not to be shy or hesitate to ask them. She made sure I was comfortable (the xrays didnt hurt, and I loved the cotton under my glasses so it didnt smoosh my eye lashes the whole appointment) and I am amazed that she cleaned out my teeth and gums so thoroughly but that I only had one or two places of mild sensitivity during the cleaning. She really emphasized the importance and technique of my home care without making me feel like it’s my fault that my mouth isn’t in perfect health; she really seems to care about me and improving my health. Patty is very friendly and pleasant. She needs to get a little more familiar with the digital xrays, but is very nice. Dr. Merchant was very friendly and professional. He answered my questions, addressed my concerns, and explained things in a way that is easy to understand. He was respectful and efficient. He found cavities which is unhappy news, but I know its his job trust that his diagnosis is neither too aggressive nor conservative. The office is very clean and nice. The front office staff is professional and welcoming. I liked the take home bag (includes a mug). Michelle was very helpful and looked up my ortho insurance coverage and followed up with me via email well before my appointment date. There was no pressure after the appointment when I said I wanted to wait to reschedule fillings and next hygiene appointments. Great experience! Id recommend this office to anyone.

Ok, so I have to admit, I am THAT guy who neglects his teeth...Over 5 Years before visiting a dentist!. I am not much of a guy who likes pain or dentists for that matter. So I finally bit the bullet and decided to go to Loving Dentistry, hoping to get some "love", and man did I! Lindsey the dental hygienist did a WONDERFUL job! Last time I was at the Dentist, I had to get anesthesia shots for deep cleaning. But This time, Lindsey informed me she was opting to use an anesthetic cream instead of shots. I was so apprehensive and worried,...Im not big on pain...(as you can see by the length of time from my last visit to the Dentist) However, Lindsey was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Did not feel a thing! That cream was Perfect!, not only did I not feel pain, but I did not have to worry about my tongue or mouth being asleep for hours after the cleaning! She even put the TV on for me while she cleaned. Periodically she would ask if I was o.k., and honestly I didnt even know when she was finished. I was too busy watching the news on the TV. Before I knew it, I had two of my quadrants completed. Next week, I have an appointment for two more quadrants. I cant believe I am writing this - but I am LOOKING FORWARD to my appointment next week...just to have that "CLEAN" feeling of when your teeth are deep cleaned! - AWESOME! PLUS its not so bad when you have a beautiful, blue eyed woman looking down on you while cleaning them. Thank you Lindsey! and thanks Loving Dentistry...I hope all my appointments with you guys are as fun and EASY as this one! Thanks -

I have been a patient at Loving Dentistry for over 10 years. They are hands down the best dentistry on the Eastside. Their office and operatories are always immaculate. The experience overall is very relaxing and calm. You get to sit back and watch TV, cozy up with a blanket, and the staff are so gentle and caring. Dr. Merchant, Dr. Dave, Dr. Chu & their entire staff team are so wonderful, fun and super professional. My favorite person on the planet is Patty. Shes seriously the sweetest person, and always sets your mind at ease. Patty is a rockstar and does a great job assisting. They have been so good to me over the years, making me feel valued and like a part of the family. Dr. Merchant recently performed a procedure on me that fixed the blotchy white spots on my teeth. I have had ugly blotches on my teeth that made them look uneven and chalky my entire life. This white spot removal procedure he did totally fixed my teeth! I have never had evenly white colored teeth like I do now, its like night and day! I am so grateful to them. If you have the same blotchy teeth condition GO TO LOVING DENTISTRY, they will make your pearly whites beautiful and you wont regret it. I have a totally new smile that I am no longer self-conscious of. Thank you Loving Dentistry, you are the best! I would recommend everyone in the greater Seattle area to become a patient of yours.

Over the last year I have literally spent 12 hours in the chair at Loving Dentistry, that pretty much quantifies me as an expert with this practice. Let me just say that I do not like going to the dentist whatsoever but like most people I view it as being a vital part of good health, plus my wife makes me go and I obey of course. In the past I have always gone to smaller practices with sort of that "Cheers" mentality, they all know your name and they remember you. I was definitely not expecting to find that here but to my surprise they have done an outstanding job in the caring department. I have always felt welcome, they are polite, well presented and pretty fun to be around. More importantly, Dr. Merchant is an outstanding dentist with an extremely solid team and they seemingly all care about providing amazing results. Side note, I was in the chair again today for three hours, although numb I left with a smile on my face and the piece of mind I received the best dentistry available. At the end of the day, I am proud to call Dr. Merchant and his team my dentist of choice. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for high quality dental care. Mark

I went in to have a crown seeded. The gal asked me how was my root canal? I told her I didnt have a root canal, she said oh, that was my last patient. Then she had the tool to remove the temporary crown and went for the wrong side of the mouth. I clamped my mouth shut and told her it was the other side, she said I was checking all over your mouth. When I left she said sorry about giving you a scare, I was just checking all over your mouth. Hmmmm, with the tool to pull the temp crown instead of a mirror? The Doctor is fine, luckily he seeded the crown. The prior appointment I had over 7 people working on my mouth for 2 fillings and crown prep. It was scheduled for 3 hours but took 4.5 hours, clearly some of the people were not experienced, it took 2 hours to shape one of the fillings because it had a sharp inside edge. The Doctor ended up adding more filling to the tooth to round off the sharp edge so its fine now. The temp crown broke just as they were finishing it so they ended up making another on in record time, 20 minutes.
