My advice to you, if you are planning on going to this emergency room, is to just find another hospital. The staff is incredibly RUDE! I was having alot of lower back pain and decided this was the closest hospital. I gave them my name, insurance, all that jazz and requested a female doctor due to the location of the injury. I stood and waited and a nurse called me into the scale room. I told her my pain was a 10/10, and that I request to see a female doctor, I told her it hurt to sit and she told me I had to. Then denied my female Dr request and when she saw I was crying she asked if it was because of pain or because I was upset about the request denial. Obviously the pain, thats why Im at your establishment. She handed me a pee cup and told me to go take the sample and hold onto it whail I waited for my male dr. I told her I wont do it just yet, getting on and off the toilet stresses my back. "Ok well the bathroom is right around the corner, be sure to get that done." Is all she could say after countless times of me stressing my discomfort. Anyways, I left the pee cup at the front desk and walked out. Now Im sitting in Hinsdale ER being treated by not only a female Dr, but an all female staff. Lagrange hospital sucks, extreaty rude and inconsiderate. I will never be going back or recommending this place to anyone, instead Ill let everyone know about my not so pleasant experience.

I told them that Im allergic to nausea medication.. I go in for extreme panic attacks! They give me Reglan! I flipp out! I feel like my skins crawling out my body.. I cant sit! I cant stand! I dont know what is happening! The nurse tells me "you need to calm down" I left! My husband had to lock our truck doors driving home! I wanted to jump out! After 4 hours of prayer and putting my head in my lap crying I calm down! This place is horrible! They dont know what they are doing!

My son was admitted through the emergency room last night. I cant begin to express my gratitude and appreciation. EVERY single staff member was and has been so kind and caring. The Doctors were very thorough with their examinations and diagnosis. They all have taken such good care of Alex and of me. We are traveling from out of country and they made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

I went to the ER with a badly infected left hand. The ER doc saw me, said, "you need a hand guy to look at that," prescribed antibiotics and sent me home. He spent about ninety seconds with me and was of no use whatsoever. For this, I got a bill--AFTER insurance discount--of about $800! Im switching to Elmhurst Memorial.

Really bad customer service they are really rude nurse and no recommended , They are really really really bad customer service and they put you in the room for five hours without that doctor come to see you its really bad hospital , they should shutdown !!!!!!!!

No consultation on out of pocket expenses. Fees run 6-8 times what other labs charge. Be careful what you sign if it doesnt detail cost. Their goal is for you to sign a blank check. Please shop your healthcare...these guys are only interested in your money.

I was impressed at first but as I kept my business with them they started to get sloppy and left me on hold for 10mins several times. I would really suggest they pick up their game. this is in the pediatric center. Thanks

The nurses are really rude and act like your bothering them. The whole ER group are sitting here having such inappropriate conversations of death and jokes of certain patients. I feel like th I s is some comedy show on tv.

Ive been on hold for almost 45 mins and counting to get a billing question answered. Terrible customer experience. But Im sure they will be prompt to send out the "past due" notice.
