The Drs Milburn are on my providers list, so I called in advance to make sure that everything checked out and my daughter was covered. They were very helpful and agreed that she would be covered for an eye exam and contact fitting, completely per my insurance. I set up the appointment and let them know that she just wanted the prescription as we get the lenses online. When my daughter got there, she did wait a while. She got the exam and then the high pressure sales started. The doctor tried hard to push her into getting lenses through them and brought out the more expensive daily disposables for her to try. It made my daughter (22 years old) very uncomfortable and I have since heard similar stories from others about this sales approach. The kick of course was the $105 bill at the end because the brand she uses wasnt covered by my insurance company. To summarize, they are very aggressive in the sales department. Yes, id call it pushy. Because of this, she was there for 2 hours! If insurance doesnt cover something, the cost is high. I cancelled the appointments for the rest of my family and will look elsewhere for a provider.

My overall experience with both doctors was very unpleasant and frustrating. I used to go to Target Optical in Avon until my insurance was switched, so I tried the Milburn Eye Center. The difference in customer service was staggering to say the least. Both Drs. Milburn were cold and distant, ignoring my input as a patient, and when they prescribed the wrong (and very expensive may I add) contact lenses, it was impossible to schedule a follow-up appointment. I got a bad eye infection in my left eye under their care, something I have never experienced before in my ten years of wearing corrective lenses. If you like costly, insincere, and hazardous eye care, then Milburn Eye Center is the place for you. If you want to be able to see properly without breaking your bank, and enjoy being treated like a person with feelings, go anywhere else in the Medina area. Needless to say, after two visits to these panderers of chicanery, I will not be going back.

I can honestly say Milburn Eye Center is the best place Ive ever been to have my eyes checked. I used to go to a different doctor but he always kept me waiting for a long time and then when he would finally come in, he wouldnt take much time for me to ask any questions. But Dr. Milburn was so patient with me and my grandmother. I cant say enough about how pleased I am about this eye clinic. She has a lot of eye problems but the staff at this office made her glasses so good that she says she sees better than she has in years. I cant recommend Milburn Eye Care enough. Great people and great service.

I called to make an appointment because my eyes were causing me problems. I assumed it was because I suffer from allergies and I had been outside all weekend. I described what was happening and I was able to make an appointment first thing the next morning when I returned from out of town. Dr. A. Milburn examed my eyes told me exactly what was happening to my eyes and put me at ease. She prescribed the necessary medicine and indicated exactly how to use it. I already feel some relief and will follow up in one week. Friendly and knowledgeable staff from the initial phone call to the final checkout.

Terrible experience, will not go back, nor will I recommend anyone to use this company. I had pain in one eye and thought something was in it, wanted a medical opinion and made an appointment to see Dr. Milburn. After an hour of "refraction" testing they tried to sell me glasses. Until I said " I am not buying glasses" the doctor then looked at my eye and said I have dry eyes and gave me the name of an over the counter lubricant to purchase. This was high pressure sales and billing of unnecessary tests, not good medical practices at all!

Pushy Dr. He doesnt listen. I had eye infection that he said I should have come in weeks earlier for. Needed prescription. Buehler didnt have the most expensive thing he prescribed. The had the normal eye drops that work just fine. He refused to change prescription. He would rather my eye get worse and wait for pharmacy to get it in vs let me have what I needed to get better. Shady 50 fee even though they had a slot open for appointment I was still charged for double booking the doctor. I have no idea how they stay in business.

Do NOT go here!!! These people are scam artists! They took total advantage of me! Then when i wanted 5 minutes of the Drs. Time to discuss my bill they refused to see me and then immediately just sent my bill to collections to try and ruin my credit! I was treated very rudely on multiple occasions. Theirs so many other eye Drs in Medina area please go see them instead! You will regret going here. Theirs a reason they have so many single star reviews!

I received first class service. I called seeking advice because I poked myself in the eye pretty bad. The front office got me in right away. Dr. Milburn worked very efficiently to figure out what the issue was and how to help it heal. Im very grateful to Dr. Milburn and his staff for helping me out last minute. They were all very helpful and concerned about my condition. I would highly recommend Milburn Eye Center.

Was very nice atmosphere and very pleasant people however I would suggest if theyre going to take CareSource that they also get frames for glasses for children and adults that dont cost $100 a piece frames are supposed to be free once a year and they should give us an option or at least a cheaper option as I had to drive to North Olmsted which was a half an hour away to get frames

I will never go back, they are highly over priced, with insurance still paid over 700 out of pocket, how does this happen? They gave me one bill and a month later said oh the insurance didnt cover this part also so another 200 after I had paid 500. Plus the perscription wasnt correct in left eye and they wanted to charge another 25 to fix that, no thanks!

I have always had amazing customer service at MEC. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I met with Dr Anna Milburn a few times and she spent a lot of time with me while I was struggling to (re)learn how to work with soft contacts. She is always very patient as I often have many questions. I would definitely recommend MEC.

I had such an awful experience here. The doctor refused to put me in any other contacts besides daily lenses. Then I was in my car about to leave and the front desk lady came to the side of my car and told me I had to pay an $80 contact fitting fee. Ive never heard of such a thing. Please dont waste your time or money here.

My first time going to this place and I was impressed. The staff was very friendly. They took me back for my exam right away. Sarah did a short exam first and then Dr Anna Milburn did the full exam. Both were very nice and professional. I will be going back in the future, and I recommend this place to friends and family.
