I would give no stars if I could. Ordered progressive lens eyeglasses and progressive lens sunglasses to a tune of $983.00. Got a call that the lens material for my eyeglasses was back ordered and it would take 3-4 weeks to get what I ordered. We were due to leave for Indiana in that time frame. Canceled that order. I am supposed to get a refund of $667.00. Picked up my sunglasses and they were for distance only. She said that is what I said I wanted. Not true. I wanted exactly what was on my eyeglasses. I needed to be able to read with my sunglasses on. Distance only does me no good. I paid $316.00 for nothing. She said it would be another $200.00 for them to correct them. If you ever deal with Anitra Coppolino make sure you have her repeat exactly what you are getting. The manager is supposed to call me, but Im sure that will not do any good. Im so mad. The only reason I went there was because my husband loves his progressive lens eyeglasses and progressive lens sunglasses he got there. I personally would not recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely incompetent people handling the insurance certifications. A request was made to expedite the paperwork because I flew here specifically to have Dr. and the nurse who was wonderful walked the file to the financial councilor on March 15th while I was in the office. Unfortunately he never bothered to call the insurance until the 21st. To date March 25th I still have not received a call. I contacted the financial several times and have been given nothing but the run around. The girl who schedules appointments was connected to me instead of the manager I asked for.She stated I needed to contact my insurance company which I had already done only to find out they had explained I did not require a pre authorization which they told the financial advisor. I had booked ample time for this surgery and now due to incompetence I am leaving with out having the procedure I came for because you cannot fly until 1 week after.

I wish I could put in less then one star. I went in for lasik eye surgery. they told me when the surgery was done I would have 20/25 vision . When they got done with me I ended up with 20/60 in one eye and 20/80 in the other eye. Their comment to me was "well at least you can see enough to be able to legally drive". Then after 3 months they could not figure out what they did wrong, but they promised me they would fix it. So a week later Mr. Brown ( as I would not call this quack a Dr. ) sent me a letter dismissing me as his patient and left me with a complete mess with my eyes. In addition they refused to refund my money.

I havent visited Eye Centers of Florida but did you know that according to their careers page of their website, they dictate what their employees can do outside of work? They dont like tobacco users and do not hire them. Do they check employees cholesterol levels too? Overweight people have greater healthcare costs and take more sick days than people that are within suggested height/weight standards. Do you discriminate against overweight people? The nerve of people! I welcome a response from this company.

Posted Nov 2016: They are rip-offs. Eye Exam completed by a Tech and Dr. Eisleman came in for 5 minutes to tell me the tech did a good job, prescription hardly changed. Billed my insurance for all sorts of line items that are included in an annual eye exam. Contesting bill and having the fraud investigation unit with my insurance company take a look. Read other customer reviews youll see the same thing.

This is the first time I went Eye Centers. I went there because that is who my insurance was thru. First, when I walked in, I was not greeted, I stood there for 10 minutes. Long story short, I ended up being there for over 3 hours. The glasses were overpriced from what my insurance said and the only benefit was the exam which was 20.00. I would never give them my bimusiness again

I have visited 3 of their locations in the 4 years I have lived in SWFL. It is nice that they have so many locations so you can visit the one that is most convenient for you. Most recent visit a few weeks ago was at the Evans Ave location. The staff was friendly and professional. I was in and out with my new contacts.

This was my 4th or 5th visit to the Lehigh Acres facility. Very friendly but professional. No wait, barely had time to fill out paper work. The doctors assistant I had on my last visit was excellent and Dr. Spencer is always a joy to work with.

Terrible customer service, the optical department is a mess. Never called when my contacts came in, every time I call them i get transferred 10 times with ultimately no one answering. No one returns voicemails. They need to get it together.

Very Professional Both Cateracts by Dr Brown and eylids by Dr Dee Operations were flawless. All personnel were very business like and the wait time was minimal. Employee that stands head and shoulders above all is Judy. Great experience.
