After my first visit with Doctor Jessie on June 29, 2017, I could have given a better review. I had routine exams for my prescription and basic tests. I talked to the doctor about other tests that I had for Eye Issue in the past and suggested that I would like to get tested again to stay current with my numbers. Since these tests were not under my Vision Insurance, I provided my Medical insurance and asked that they call the insurance company and find out how much these exams would cost to have done. After being told that the individual, Melissa, was unavailable to contact my insurance company but would call the next day. I ordered my contacts and asked for my Visit Notes. Jessie said that she did not finish them yet. I was okay with that answer since I had to come back to pick up my contacts at the next visit. I had my second visit on 7/6/2017. This visit was the most outrageous visit that I have ever had with any doctor. I show up at 8:00AM for my visit. I am taken into a room for some basics exams with my new contacts. So far, so good. I am then placed into an exam room and I am told to wait for Jessie. A few minutes later, Jessie comes into the room and sits down to look back at her notes. She then turns to me and says that if I dont agree to come back every 3 months to have my Eye Issue checked, then I would have to find another doctor. I was appalled. First of all, there have been no tests done to get any results from to come to any conclusion about Eye Issue. Second, I am the patient. If I have an issue, then it is up to myself as the patient to come up with a plan of care. Jessie finished checking the contact fit and I went to the front area to pick up my contacts. I spoke to Melissa, who was supposed to call my Medical Insurance to find out the cost of the tests that I asked for at my first visit, but never made the call. I asked her again when she would call my insurance company, she said that she would call after 9:00AM. I told her what had happened in the exam room with Jessie. She said "Did she try to strong arm you into coming in every 3 months even though we have no results to come to a conclusion of Eye Issue yet." I said, "Yes". Melissa said that she needed to inform her manager that this had happened, as if she was concerned. Melissa said that she would contact my insurance company and get back to me via phone. Today is 7/10/17 and I have not received a call from Melissa to discuss the insurance cost or to inform me what her manager said in response to the tactics used by Jessie. I finally did get finally get my exam notes from the first visit. Is it general practice for doctors to lie in these notes. Because Jessie lied in the Eye Issue Suspect OU Plan: Other section. She said that she explained to me about delaying Eye Issue treatment. First of all, Jessie did not even discuss with me during the first visit the results of my tests. Both turn out to be in the normal range. She stated that she discussed Eye Issue with me and that I, the patient, voiced understanding to all that was said. Cant voice understanding to items that were not fully discussed. I work for a medical company who provides service to thousands of patients. I will never go back to MyEyeDr or Jessie. I will make sure that I inform my friends face to face and via social media about how I was treated by MyEyeDr, Doctor Jessie, and Melissa. The MyEyeDr staff needs to understand how to treat potential patients. You dont try to coerce patients into by saying if you dont agree to come in every 3 months then I will not be your doctor. You will have to find somebody else. Well, guess what. I will find another doctor and take my commercial insurance with me.

If I could give this place a negative I would!! First off let me make sure all understand this. I have an astigmatism. I have had needed glasses since grade school for reading, as with majority of people. In the last two years my eyes have went from 30 to 50 or so my eye care says. The lady as she was doing my eye exam looks at my history sees im 39 will be 40 this year. Automatically tells me "well your 40 or soon to be and need reading glasses" ok I have needed glasses the majority of my life for reading the astigmatism. Oh no. NOW because your at the magic number of 40 we can suck more money out and push bi focals on you. ok whatever i get the glasses put them on THERE. im straining my eyes to see out of them they are not the right script. The lady that does the glasses tells me "oh you need to just get use to them" so here it is a few weeks later severe headaches they are making me sick and im not wearing them anymore. So I call up there today. The receptionists gets an attitude with me. she informs me hey if you bring them here we can check to make sure the glasses themselves are the right script, OMG if the Optometrist wanted that extra money so bad and sent the order out for something that is not right do you really think the glasses are going to come back wrong? NO the Optometrist herself was more into getting more money then doing it right. How do I know this? I went to a REAL place happy to say my eyes are 20/30 NOT 20/50 and I do NOT need bi focal. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I actually went here by mistake, as my Ins. isnt covered by them. They were so nice. They took my insurance anyway and I just paid the co-pay of $45. On my insurance, I can get a big chunk off of the glasses I need, but after reading the reviews of the 2 places accepting my Florida Blue Ins. I have decided to go ahead and pay for glasses here. I was given a great exam by Dr. Benjamin Konynenbelt who explained everything to me as we did all the tests. Such a nice person! And... the staff there was so accommodating, so nice! Mark explained about the insurance and was so patient. Yes! I am going back there to get my glasses.

I called to get an appointment because my eyes were really hurting me. I didnt think I would be able to get in till after the first of the year. But they got me in the very next day. I saw Dr. Atkins, he is great. All the people that work there are fantastic, very friendly, helpful knowledgeable. The young man that did some tests on me before the doctor came in, was so great. He was very nice and thorough. My eyes are so much better now. It really eased my mind of what was going on with my eyes. My husband also goes to Lange Eye Care and has always had a positive experience.

My lasik surgery went off without a hitch because I was smart. I took a handful of valiums and a wine cooler before I went in. SPOILER ALERT: there might have been some of my grandpas viagra in the handful. I totally watched that show where Kim Kardashian got her Lasiks on, son and she has a great heiny. I decide to get mine done because I want to watch the show more clearly the next time it comes on, because like I said, her junk is bangin. As a side effect I can totally play video games better now, like the ones for sale at GAMERS HQ, the best store in BELLEVIEW FL.
