I went in & was immediately assisted by Eddie (I read previous comments, and sounds to me like the only folks rating are complaining so I wanna directly mention MY service!). Eddie helped me select frames while I waited for my appointment. The doctor gave me my new prescription within 30 minutes and even took time to listen to my problems (vision). I then came back out where Eddie was waiting on me holding the frames I selected. He referred me to Dennis who began going over the sales with me that were happening to let me know that there was a better deal to be had on different frame selections. That was very helpful however, I wanted the high end frames since these are not a frequent purchase so I continued through. Dennis was patient with me although serving me took over 2 hours with me looking at frames and such multiple times before finally making a selection. I completed my order which was ready the same afternoon by 5! They were extremely busy during my visit (probably with that same lady that posted before that was cursing, yet- still treated politely and far more fairly than she deserved considering she was in MY way and disrupting MY day). They apologized to me for her actions, which was not necessary but, they were very apologetic. Ive now had my new glasses for 3 months without issue. I intend to go back in for the new sale & get a pair of sunglasses for this prescription as well. I have been visiting this store for 10 years & service has always been amazing and top notch. I like that they are always ready to assist me and I never wait more than 10 minutes!

I purchased a full pair of glasses (progressive lenses) and also single vision lenses only for my old frames. Less then 30 days later I refunded the progressive pair of glasses and as their policy states "30 days refund no hassle". They refunded me for the glasses and I found out today that they never refunded my insurance company for the purchase of the glasses. (Insurance fraud). I am trying to purchase a pair of glasses and since Visionworks never refunded my glasses to my insurance company so therefore I am unable to make a purchase of glasses. I had to make several phone calls (on my cell phone eating all my minutes and drive one way 15 + miles back to my hotel room to do all of this and to get my bank to fax information to my insurance and to also proove to Visionworks that they indeed have the glasses that they sold me and that they did in deed sommit insurance fraud! Eddie, the general manager would not do anything to lift a finger to provide any sort of assistance for me or my situation (that I am more than 8 hours and several states away from home and having broken frames)! They are good at INSURANCE FRAUD!!!!

I have been coming here for several years and I think that its a great place. There are times when it is super busy and your best bet is to leave and come back another time, but there are also times when I walk in with a pair of glasses I stepped on at home and 5 minutes later they are magically bent back into shape and I am out the door. I dont think any of the people who the "bad service" comments were written about still work here. These people are friendly, they fix things if they can, they work with you if you dont like what you picked out, they exchange things, they remember me when I come back in, and for the money, I believe the product you receive is a great value. So long as you are not looking to walk in the door and 60 minutes later walk out with a pair of glasses, you should be fine. Wake up folks. That is a best case scenario. A proper eye exam takes 30 minutes and then most of us need special stuff and they have to send off for it! Bottom line: Good Value, Nice Folks, Great Service.

I went to the Tallahassee Visionworks to obtain an eye exam and was told that they didnt have their eye doctor anymore and that they only had occasional temporary doctors. Walk ins were not possible and getting an exam scheduled would have to be made for several weeks out. I would pity someone trying to have new glasses made if their glasses broke. Visionworks in the Fort Lauderdale area is very good with ability to get eye exams, and have a decent selection of frames/contacts. I was greatly dissapointed at the poor quality in this location and would recommend avoiding them until they hire a competent eye doctor.

After filling out insurance information. I waited more than 35 minutes for a scheduled appointment without being processed. When I asked if it would be much longer, the employee was rude and dismissive. In general, the employees seemed all rather unhappy and, on top of everything else, the bathrooms are disgusting. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I would strongly recommend not going anywhere near this establishment.

First time I call, I guy answered the phone and said he was too busy and he would call back, he never asked for my phone number. Second time, completely useless and unhelpful. I asked if they had a particular frame in tock, I had the Make/Model and size - they said they did not use the common information that everyone else uses. The other 6 glass stores in Tallahassee used the info. What make this place so special?

WORST eyewear experience I have ever had. TERRIBLE customer service, very poor selection of frames, NO ONE knows how to operate the computer system. It took more than four days to cancel the order and process the cancellation which created a NIGHTMARE with insurance company. DON"T GO HERE!!!! However the eye exam I had was excellent. No problem with the optometry office.

Dont know about all those bad comments about this place. I went to get a lens replaced under my warranty and expected to run into a hassle cause I bought them in a different state. They honored it and was treated very nice. So if you had a bad experience in the past I suggest you try them again. Ty visionworks great job.

Ive been here several times. Service is usually fine, but they have messed up an order before. Not ALL employees are super, but some are great and really nice. The main thing to me is that this is much cheaper than going to my insurance companys office for an exam or contacts/glasses.

Website clearly says they are open 12pm-5pm on Sunday. I called on Saturday to inquire about making an appointment either that day or Sunday, and I was told they arent open Sunday. What kind of incompetence is this? I wouldnt trust these individuals with my sight. Go elsewhere.

Ive been coming here for over 3 years now. Dr. Rowson is a very caring and patient Doctor, and seems genuinely concerned with giving me the best eye care that she can. Tara does a great job out front as well, and is also very patient and helpful. Two thumbs, way up!!
