The female doctor is fantastic, but there is an older male doctor who is unbelievable. Long story short, he blamed my pups dermatitis on my fiance, purely because he has darker skin tone then told me if I really loved my pup I needed to leave him. This is sadly a true event. Read on for full story... I brought my puppy in and the male doctor was there that day. My pup was very nervous and hid when this doctor tried to pet him. I was in because he had a red area on his stomach that Ive never noticed before (found out he has dermatitis from a different doc later) and he said we needed to run him through tests and asked if he needed to let me know if it would cost more than $500. I said yes, please and he said "the health of dog should not be an issue of finances". I told him I just wanted a 2nd opinion before spending hundreds of dollars. Then he asked me if Im single.... (This is the main reason I am writing this review) I responded that I am engaged. He then asked how my pup is with him. I said generally fine, when he returns from a trip my pup is a little timid, but feels comfortable in a few hours. The doctor then asked if my fiance was black. I asked why? He began to tell me that if he was dogs are commonly more afraid of "darker skin tones" and that my "only true option to stop the rashes, is to stop dating him". I thought, he must be joking. So I responded, "I dont believe my dog favors white people. You are white and he hid from you." He then advised me to find a "paler partner" if I cared for my pup or for myself because "dogs are great judges of character". I was floored. I felt like I was getting advise from a racist elder at a hospice center. I told him that what he was saying was discriminative and I am not here for his opinion on my life. I left and told the receptionist my experience was terrible and he said racist comments to me about my family, she said, "not surprised". Then changed me $149 for the visit. My family and I are happily never going back here and hope to save someones day from this sad, small-minded man.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE PLACE TO EVER TAKE YOUR PET IF THEYRE SICK! I took my 6 week old kitten to West Oaks Animal Hospital yesterday, June 7th. She was doing great Saturday and Sunday, and I noticed on Monday she wasnt herself and wasnt playing or eating. Since she was so small, I would bring her to work with me. I looked up closest vet to my office and thats how I found this place! WORST MISTAKE EVER...TAKING HER TO THIS CLINIC KILLED HER! She was weak, not eating, clearly sick. When vet tech came in to check her temp and inserted thermometer she couldnt get it to read her temp. She got a different one and still not temp reading. Vet went into room and said she was dehydrated, but DIDNT OFFER ANY SOLUTIONS! I ASKED IF THERE WAS SOME SORT OF SHOT SHE COULD BE GIVEN, NOTHING! Vet did say she was too cold and suggested a sock with rice inside, warmed lightly by microwave to help keep her warm. Instructed me to stop bottle feeding her. Sold me some AD Cat food and was told to mix with her milk and syringe feed her. Sold me some worming "shots" and some sort of vitamin stuff. NONE OF WHICH MY KITTEN NEEDED! FAST FORWARD TO 5:00 PM, KITTEN IS WORSE! RUSH HER TO ER, AND SHE DIES WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF OUR ARRIVAL! Kitten needed fluids and couldve possibly had a fighting chance, IF VET HAD DIAGNOSED HER PROPERLY. Vet NEVER listened to her chest. She did look at her teeth and said with the amount of teeth she had, she shouldve been getting weened. WITHOUT A DOUBT MY KITTEN DIED BECAUSE SHE WASNT DIAGNOSED PROPERLY!

Do Not use this clinic I usually dont write you but this place is ridiculous. I called around 10 in the morning to ask to make an appointment for my cat declawed de are usually dont write review but this place is ridiculous. I called around 10 in the morning to as to make an appointment for my cat declaw. I was then told by the secretary that she would ask the doctor about his schedule then let me know available times. I received a call back two hours later asking me how old the cat was so I said around a year to year and a half so the secretary told me he would call me right back in the game feed me the next time also have the schedule times so I can pick one. Around 4 oclock in the evening I was called and told that the doctor does not feel comfortable doing the surgery and she wanted to provide me with a number to their sister clinic that does the declaw. Mind you all this was happening while I was at work answering all these phone calls throughout the day so they just wasted my whole day because the doctor has competence problems. All this could have been avoided if they told me from the start that they did not do declaw instead of wasting my whole day waiting for a phone call back every two hours. Im glad this doctor did not surgery on my cat but this clinic has the worst customer service Ive ever seen.

My husband and I had taken our fur children to Dr. John Allen for 25 years. When I hear he had retired and sold his practice, I was terrified. Where would I go? I decided to give the new group a chance. I first met Dr. Kinney. She was so gentle with my kids and they response in kind. Then I met Dr. Urrea on separate appointment. I cannot put into words how wonderful the stay and doctors are. Perhaps my little old Paddey gives the best testimony. After several days of having glucose curves done, Paddy had to go back for a day of late work. After we got to the office, he walked right in to the back - no help or prodding. Dr. Urrea was amazing. They were patient, answering any questions as well as calling to make sure that my pups have done well with the treatment. My pups are clearly their priority. They always tell me what the diagnosis entails as well as giving me options. If youre looking for a team to care for your fur family, please choose this one, believe me. No one touches my family without me seeing that they put my family first.

Watch out for their cut-throat procedure. I brought my puppy in for a wellness check and it was quoted $1. My bill came out to totaling over $100. They charged everything they could find. Im doing my puppys parvo vaccination myself to avoid these crooks. They charged for fecal test that I dont think they even did. How can a fecal test take less than 10 minutes. What make me distrust them is that they did procedures that cost money without telling me first. I paid the bill, not happy about it. I felt taken by this establishment. Ill never come back. Everyone else should try another veterinarian service beside this one. Money is their top concern for this place.
