Dont ever take your pets to this vet office. Took our two dogs in for regular checkups after leaving a vet in Livingston Texas. The staff was friendly enough but they nickeled and dimened us on everything.Was charged 400 for a "Senior Exam". The only difference between this and the vet tech exam was they took a stool sample, the regular vet tech exam is 60$.Just a scam to get money. We took the dogs back for shots that were due and was told the male needed 2 shots and female only 1.We asked them to order heartworm meds, they said ok. A week later when the meds didnt show up at my house I called and was told they didnt order because the male is over due a heartworm test, why didnt they tell me that when I made the apt or when I was in the office trying to order the meds. I called today to set up an apt for the heartworm test and was asked "do you want to have him get the shots that are past due?" I asked why I wasnt told about this 2 weeks ago when we came in or a week ago when I called. The person on the phone didnt have a clue about anything. this place is only out to get money, thats why they conveniently not tell you about what is due for your pet so they can charge for an office visit and the cost of the shots. This place is all about how much and how many times they can charge for something. Dont ever take your pet to this office. I am leaving another review about this Vet office because the office manager called me to try and work out the issues I had with this place. After speaking with her I decided to give the vet another try. The experience was much better this time around and hopefully I will not have any more problems.

Dont bring your beloved pets here! I had an emergency with my older dog. They said that she needed imediate surgery for a uterine infection. They did the surgery and my dog was not herself. She wasnt eating and I was extremely worried. The vets office was only worried about getting her in for her shots and other routine stuff so they could charge us more money. They did more blood work and told me all was normal. Charged us$200. to tell us she is fine when clearly she wasnt! They told us we had to force feed her to make her eat! That would have been fine but it wouldnt have fixed the problem! Took her to Cypress Animal Clinic(Huffmeister) . They cared about her, told us her blood work was not normal, perscribed something that helped her right away. They saved my dog! My dog will never set foot in VAC Telgie Animal Hospital again!

If you care about your pet, I would highly NOT recommend this so-called hospital. I will spare the details, but their lack of knowledge and lack of experience took treatment off the table and aided in the death of a 9 month old Golden Retriever. Black Horse is a little farther, but well worth the drive. There are many others as well; Id avoid Telge Vet at all costs. If that isnt more than enough, for you; you should know that theyre all about the money. They may be friendly enough; but its simply to get the money. Theyre pretty transparent, in my opinion. Its sad; we love our pets so much and Telge Vet just takes advantage.

Recently took in a stray cat who was FILTHY from living outside. Took him to VCA for an exam and grooming. He came back smelling like fresh laundry! How did they do that?!? He came home a whole new cat, friendly and loving and not hiding behind the couch because he was so dirty and miserable. Very impressed with how they handled him.

I used the free first exam for my stray cat, told them she had a little cough. They come back with a quote for over $500 dollars to treat my cat. I was not impressed with vet at all for a first visit, no personality at all. Never even asked any questions about the cat.I will never go back. Its all about the money at this place.

A bit pricey. The rooms need to be swept after every dog/cat as there was buildup of hair in the rooms. Also the bedside manner needs improvement. Tell us what you are doing and why. Dont just prescribe a bunch of medication and say "its all antibiotics". Makes me feel left out of the loop.

All I can say is THE BEST. My cat is doing great thanks to Telge Vet DR. Very friendly staff, felt great just from walking in to such a friendly environment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank again keep up the OUTSTANDING job. Tee Tee Guillory really appreciates youll getting him well.

I have taken my dog and cat here. We have only needed routine exams/shots. Had both animals neutered/spayed here. No issues, I will say though that the staff sometimes seem pre-occupied and short on the phone.

Love taking my puppy here. Vets and staff are so friendly. My puppy loves the treats they give. Felt guilty my puppy was squirming and a little difficult they just reassured me and kept with the exam.
