Worst experience Ive had getting blood drawn. The woman initially stuck the needle in incorrectly, and instead of taking it out and retrying/trying on my other arm she continues to jab it further into me where it then hit a nerve and caused me to almost pass out. Not only that but she was talking about how it wasnt working while it was happening which just made it even worse. I had to sit there and wait until i felt stable enough to leave, and after all of that they missed one of my lab scripts and didnt draw everything that i needed. Ill take the one in shadyside over this one any day. The technicians there are a bit more on the rude side, but they get the job done well and fast. Thats what i come to a quest diagnostics for, not polite chit chat.

The staff are generally helpful. If you schedule an appointment (phone or internet, which is a convenient way to see available times) you can expect a quick visit, but there may be a fairly long wait for walk-ins at certain times. Unfortunately, test results are not always sent to my doctors. I dont know where in the chain of communication the problem arises, but it happened often enough that I switched to getting blood drawn at my doctors hospital. If you dont experience these issues, its a pretty easy way to get testing done. Its also right by a bus stop.

Fantastic!!! The person who drew sample was Bill. I have a horrific needle anxiety which I explained to him. He drew 5 tubes of blood. I barely felt the needle and didnt even know when he was changing tubes. And he did it with lightening speed. This was my first time at the Murry Ave office. I asked his name and put it in my phone under quest. I will ask for him from now on.

I am sick to death of talking to machines! We need a human connection. I hate it when you need information and none of the selections on that stupid machine is set up to answer it. You are not saving money by having a machine answer. Employ a human to do it and you will have happier clients and most likely more of them!

People were friendly enough, and not much of a wait, but they lost and messed up 80% of the samples and I had to do my testing all over again. Kind of defeats the purpose.

There is absolutely no way to talk to a human to set up an appointment. The lack of a human presence is maddening. Wish there were better options.

Dont even bother going to this branch. I honestly might not go to a quest ever again. The flubotimist was disgusting.
