I walked in the door to the Quest office and walked directly to the sign in window. I began to sign my name and a woman opened the door and said "Lets go...." very rudely. I followed her as we went to the blood drawing area and she didnt say a word. I stood in the middle of the room and she had her back to me and she prepared. Then she said, "where is your script? " I told her that my doctor said that I would not need one. Abruptly she goes "Last name?", "Doctors name and first initial?", "Birthdate"? Finally she take your jacket off if you want me to do this, meanwhile I had been standing there for over 5 minutes while she paid no attention to me. Apparently she was now ready to work. I was stuck twice by her, as she missed the vein, then she called in the other clinician. This new clinician was also very a matter of fact, making no eye contact or conversation. The two of them spoke to each other about the weather outside. I asked, "What does one need to do to become a Phlebotomist?", to which she responded "nothing". I said, "No school, no tests, no qualifications?" She responded with "Ive been doing this for 17 years, and you just show up. Its on the job training." What a way to instill confidence considering they had already failed to hit a vein 4 times already. Ive been to other places and the process does not bother me. This particular Qwest was terrible beginning with their employees. I did not get their names, but they were the only two workers there at 11:30am on Saturday February 2, 2013.

Staff was rude and unprofessional. I left and went to the Oxford site down the street & they were wonderful as usual. WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! Would not recommend to ANYONE!
