The doctor had always been rude to my sister and I when we brought our dog here, but we shrugged this off every time because the Dog & Cat Hospital is cheaper than most places. Since 2005, we had brought our dog in because she was limping. Dr. Wang told us time and again that she had arthiritis. This December, he said the same thing and sent us away with medication. Again, he seemed quite uncaring and unwilling to elaborate on his answers to our questions. The very next day, THE MEDICATION HE PRESCRIBED MADE MY DOG VOMIT EVERY 15 MINUTES for 10 hours. We had to rush our dog to an emergency vet, where he told us that Dr. Wang misdiagnosed her. The medication could have resulted in stomach ulcers. We had enough and took my dog to another veterinarian. Once this new vet walked in the door, he told us that my dog didnt even have arthiritis. Please be aware of this place. Hopefully their staff can turn things around.

When my cat stopped eating, drinking, getting up at all, I was pleased to get an appointment right away. No waiting when I arrived. The Vet, Dr. Pan, I believe, was sweet and professional, not dramatic about the situation. They gave my kitty some medications and took blood to test for a range of things. The price was less than I had feared, downright reasonable! The next day when the test results came back the doctor had narrowed down some possible causes, and told me that although we could go on to test for exactly what was wrong, it would be much more time and cost effective to just start treating the cat for the most likely conditions. I picked up her prescription and my kitty seems back to health after 3 days. Yay! Thank you! Quick and painless for everyone.

My dog got ran over and El Monte Dog & Cat Hospital did not use it as an excuse to overcharge me (unlike TLC). They were 200% cheaper and way more sympathetic than TLC. Their office might not be as stylish as TLC, but their staff is caring, organized, and thorough. I would ecommend this place to everyone!

This is the best vet experience Ive had since I moved to San Gabriel Valley. The staffs are friendly, the doctor is genuine and super nice. The price is reasonable. Its very busy on Saturday though, I waited almost an hour. But it wont stop me from bringing my other pets to there.

Dr. Pan was great! She was straight forward and I could make a decision regarding my 19 year old cat. I would recommend this place. The price is right and you know what you may be getting into. Everyone was helpful and courteous. Thumbs Up!!!!!

Great experience and friendly staff. The doctors are very thorough and showed a lot care. Price is decent compare to other vets that weve been to (we have an old 16 yr old Persian cat). I would highly recommend this hospital.

My dog had an infection well they mad it better the staff was so caring to the animals i love going there i have 4 dogs and they love it there to whenever i take them they get excited but i epically i love the price!!!

Ive been taking my 2 Chihuahuas and Pomeranian here for the last year. They accept walk-ins which is great! Vets are nice and they provide you an estimate without trying to push uneccessary tests on you.
