I JUST LOVE BUSHNELL PT/OREM SPORTS MEDICINE CENTER! They are my first experience with PT EVER and have made it a great one. I am recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery and was scared of going to a physical therapist. Fortunately, my WONDERFUL orthopede, Dr. Wayne Mortensen, said that he was going to send me to the BEST physical therapists in the county and he did! From the first day, I was met with caring, knowledgeable and professional people who genuinely cared that I got better and stayed with me coaching and taping me thru the process. I cant tell you how much Ive enjoyed being there and how instrumental Matt, Mike, George, April, Amber, Josh, Laree and other members of the Orem Sports staff have been in my recovery. They are kind, funny, engaging and compassionate. They make sure you are doing the exercises right (by modeling them and staying with you until you can do them on your own. Even then, theyre still monitoring and checking.) Too much of our healthcare is now in the hands of HMOs who reward their doctors for NOT getting the help their patients need. At Orem Sports Medicine Center, they are independent and focused solely on the welfare of the clients they treat and whom they care about as family. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND their services and hope that all who have recovered there will post, share and spread the word. True customer service is nearly dead these days...But trust me--it is ALIVE AND WELL at BUSHNELL PT/OREM Sports Medicine Center. Pass it on! Nancy Pomeroy Teacher/CNA

I would recommend to you and have highly recommended to others Matt Bushnell and his wonderful staff at Orem Sports Medicine. I have had four brain surgeries for a Chiari Malformation, and also struggle with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Matt has been there with me every step of the way. He willingly researches and travels to further his education and his ability to offer a variety of skills and treatments for his patients, especially those dealing with neurological or connective tissue disorders. Matt is thorough, knowledgeable, empathetic and willing to take the time to listen to concerns and to communicate and explain what his treatment is going to be and why he thinks it is needed. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone looking for a physical therapist. He is trustworthy, compassionate and is truly a healer in every sense of the word.

Matt Bushnell is the best physical therapist around. His careful, holistic approach to care has made a world of difference for me, and the fact that he has training in caring for people, like me, with connective tissue disorders makes him all the more amazing (when you add the fact that he traveled across the country to get that training so he could help just a couple patients, you can see how dedicated he is). The staff are always friendly and helpful, willing to answer questions, schedule (or reschedule) an appointment, or even help work through the vagaries of insurance. I cannot recommend Dr. Matt Bushnell (at either Orem Sports Medicine or Bushnell Physical Therapy in Provo) highly enough. My life is significantly better because of him and his staff.

Wish I would have went sooner. I have been dealing with sciatica pain in my leg and back for 3 months, it got so bad it was hard to sleep. My brother in law recommended this place and I six treatments and it feels like I have a new back. My last treatment Bushnell said he recommends that I go a week without an in office treatments and then we could try going two or three weeks without treatment. I have 20 free treatments from my insurance company, so for him to know we where making progress and not taking advantage of my time or my insurance says a lot about the integrity of Bushnell and his practice! This is the only place I recommend.

My experience at Orem Sports Medicine Center has been more than grand. Matt is my favoritest physcial therapist ever. Like seriously. Why you ask? Well he not only was incredible at addressing all of my concerns and questions, but I felt like he genuinely cares about each one of his patients. He is very caring, understanding and takes time out of his personal life to ensure you recover to the best you can be. I mean he even went to me with some of my other doctors appointments to make sure he understood the big picture. Talk about STELLAR ✨ I love Matt and would recommend him to anybody.

All the staff was very helpful, personable and easy to work with! Matt was great! I loved his honesty! My husband started seeing Matt few years back for his back pain and Matt was able to help him. When I found out that I needed physical therapy for my shoulder, my husband told me to only see Matt. I have referred my mom and sister! Both of them really like going there. Most importantly, we all have seeing a huge improvement in our health! I strongly recommend Matt and his team!

These guys are awesome!! I went to see them for my piriformis syndrome and they have helped me tremendously!! The A-stem therapy and the dry needle therapy have helped so much, when I started seeing them 5 weeks ago my pain was at a 10 and now Im pretty much pain free all day. Matt and Casey have been so helpful and the rest of the staff are very helpful and always friendly. If I ever have any other injuries that require physical therapy I will for sure come back to these guys!!

I am a physical therapy student finising up a 15 week clinical rotation with these therapists. I promise you, this is the place you should go for your physical therapy. I get to see all that goes on behind the scenes. Matt and Casey will get you healthy in the least amount of time possible. They will constantly re-evaluate your plan of care and wont hesitate to refer you for imagining, or to another professional when you need it.

If you looked up rockstar in the dictionary, Matt Bushnells picture would be next to it. He has helped rehab multiple different injuries that I have sustained. He knows what hes doing! The rest of his staff is fantastic including Michaela. She is always happy to help and is friendly and make the environment enjoyable even though injuries arent fun to rehabilitate. I would highly recommend them for all rehab needs!

We absolutely love this place! Matt is by far the best therapist weve dealt with and is always willing to fit us in when necessary. He has become like a second dad to my girls who are high level gymnasts and seem to always need additional services due to injury. Matt gives them advice not only on therapy issues but in life experiences as well. The only place to go!!!
