Good news for anyone who hates reading reviews! If you are searching for a physical therapy provider you really dont need to read any others beyond this one. The professionals at Blankinship Physical Therapy can take care of whatever ailment you may have that requires the treatment of a physical therapist. I went to them on the recommendation of my doctor for treatment of Achilles tendonitis in both of my feet. After going there for 9 weeks the pain is almost completely gone but more importantly, Mike, my primary therapist there, has given me the education and information I need to keep problems I had from coming back. The entire staff at Blankinship Physical Therapy was a pleasure to work with. Making appointments was handled quickly and efficiently. The clinic maintains very convenient hours to accommodate just about any schedule. Also, the staff is very conscious of any time constraints you may have during any given session and takes care to make sure that the most important treatment items are completed in the time available. The treatment I received was first rate. Everyone I dealt with there was extremely knowledgeable and capable of treating my issues. I was also very impressed with the caring attitude that everyone showed. I initially expected the atmosphere to be similar to a doctors office, somewhat cold and clinical. It was nothing like that though. This experience was more like hanging out with a group of friends than getting getting medical treatment. They listen to your concerns, ask enough questions to find out exactly how you feel and what treatment is working and what might not be working so well, and customize your treatment to provide the most benefit possible. This is all done in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere which was quite amazing in my case since all my sessions were at 6:30am, a time when most people arent really happy and cheerful. To sum up, I really dont think you can find any better care than what you get at Blakinship Physical Therapy. They treat your issues professionally and teach you what the causes were and how to avoid future occurrences. This is all done in a friendly "non-doctor" manner so you can actually understand what they are saying, even if it involves some complex anatomy. I will highly recommend this business to anyone I come across needing physical therapy.

February 25, 2913 I had a thoroughly satisfying experience with Blankinship Physical Therapy. The facilities were easy to find and there was ample convenient parking. The equipment was fundamental but very efficiently put to use. The therapist (Mike) assigned to me was thorough, professional, informative and friendly. The assistants (especially Tom and Kylre) that put me through the exercises were also all the above. They made sure that I went through a warm-up, completed all the exercises correctly, and had a cool down period. The routines seemed easy but my muscles were fatigued, but not in pain, by the time I was finished each session. It was interesting to me that my knee problem was caused by a weak left hip that needed strengthening and made more flexible. It was also interesting how much the importance of a day of rest between days of exercise was made to me. Besides helping my knee problem I also learned a lot about exercise philosophy and technique. I am continuing to do the exercises every other day that I did during therapy and so far have not had any physical problems. I still am mentally a little reluctant to completely shift my weight to my left side when swinging a golf club. I am sure that will correct itself as I gain more confidence in the stability of the knee. I would recommend that patients follow directions during the process. That means trying their hardest but do not ever think that more is better. The professionals will work with each patient through the process of improvement. I highly recommend Blankinship Physical Therapy especially for any sports related injuries. Bob Grant

I was referred to Blankinship by my doctor due to lower back pain from a recent rear-end collision. I highly recommend Michael Simon, one of the PTs on staff. He took the time to listen and observe my health concerns and get to know me as a person, in order to provide the best treatment for my overall recovery and well-being. Both he and Mike Dickey, a certified athletic trainer on staff are exceptional at deep tissue massage, which really helped to loosen things up each visit before beginning my exercise regimen. I was able to request these two specifically; and even on the days where the office was busy with other clients, they always accomodated my request. They use a lot of core strengthening and conditioning which was tremendous in my overall recovery. I plan to continue to implement much of what I learned during my 11 weeks of therapy into my regular exercise routine. All of the employees, including the front office staff are very warm and friendly and made me feel welcome on each visit. Michael was able to provide advice on exercises for my shoulder that had been bothering me for some time as well, and I now have much better range of motion and decreased pain in that area too. The staff all work very well together and I never felt rushed or hurried on any visit. I am extremely happy with the results of my treatment at Blankinship and would not hesitate to refer others in need of rehabilitation from any sports, auto or other injury.

I have to give a big shout out to Blankinship Physical Therapy. I went to them after having arthroscopic shoulder surgery for a dislocating shoulder (torn labrum). My arm went from only being able to lift it a bit higher than shoulder length, to all the way straight up. Also Im able to move my arm almost completely up my back and straight out too. I was getting no real results from my orthos in-house PT. Once I switched it was so much better. First of all, MUCH less pain during PT, less exercises needed at home, and results! Anyone who is in need of PT in the East Valley should definitely go to them! They start off almost everyone with 8 min massage in the area affected along with several other treatments. So much better than the hot pack at my previous PT. All the people there are super nice too. Today is my last session and Im really going to miss everyone there. Thanks Blankinship!! I posted this same review at Facebook and Yelp. Not sure that it matters, but trying to give them a big shout out on all the sites I can think of. I feel that strongly about their skills!

I was referred to Blankships office due to a vestibular disorder I am currently plagued with. I was fortunate to get Josh assigned to my case. I have experienced A LOT of physical therapy practices over the past 30 years. Josh, by far exceeded my expectations with his level of care, concern and involvement in his patients regimen. I would not hesitate to refer others to him. In fact, I have already provided my husbands number for them to contact him for help with his back and knee issues. It is obvious that Josh is passionate about his profession and in getting his clients to a better place than when he found them. Thanks for putting up with me, Josh. And for the great strides made that, due to your customized program, are currently helping me function on a daily basis. I know I wasnt the easiest client to deal with. The pleasure was truly all mine! Warmest of Regards, -NH
