Do not go to Craig Ranch Family Dental! You have been warned. 1) The dental assistants were horribly rough and/or inexperienced. After having X-rays taken at Dr. Chens office I had two large cuts inside of my mouth; one on the interior side of my gums and the other on the very soft/sensitive area below my tongue. I have taken these types of X-rays (where they stick the metal rod in your mouth) at other dental offices without any issue, but I was cut on two separate occasions simply due to the X-rays at Craig Ranch Family Dental. Unbelievable. 1a) During the procedure, the dental assistant proceeded to jam the dental suction unit very deep into my mouth, well behind my molars. Talk about uncomfortable! It didnt make me want to gag, but it felt horribly rough. This isnt a dentists office where they have a soft touch, I can assure you of that. 2) Halfway through the procedure to install the dental crown, Dr. Chen stopped and explained that she was going to refer me to a Periodontist. Yes, thats right...halfway through a procedure (about one hour into this whole affair)...I get "awoken" from the sedative and I am told by Dr. Chen that I need to schedule an appointment with a Periodontist (who wasnt available for another TWO MONTHS)...and that he would first examine my tooth, and then, at a separate visit, perhaps perform an additional procedure so that, at a later visit with a different dentist, I could have a dental crown installed. Confused yet? Yes, here I am, barely aware of what is being explained to me due to the sedative, and without about five minutes I am whisked out of Dr. Chens office with a referral to yet another dentist. Work had been "performed," but effectively we were exactly where we started. Oh, and Dr. Chens office proceeded to charge me for whatever it was that had been performed that day. Which leads me to... 3) Later, once the sedative wore off and I had time to reflect on what had happened and what I had been charged, I called Dr. Chens office to request that her office refund me and the insurance company because the visit was a complete waste of my time. I now had two large cuts in my mouth from X-rays, a cracked molar that had been further ground down that day, and no dental crown to speak of. Rather, I had THREE additional appointments with dentists pencilled in on my calendar...two with a Periodontist who wasnt available for another two months, and a later visit to *finally* have the dental crown installed. 4) The call with Dr. Chen did not go well. After explaining my perspective for at least 10-15 minutes, Dr. Chen agreed to refund my insurance company. Hallelujah! Actually...no. No Hallelujah. Because even though Dr. Chen agreed to refund my insurance company, her Office Manager, Christy, today explained via email that there would be no refund at all. Not to me, and not to my insurance company. Even though Christy ***admitted*** that Dr. Chen agreed to refund my insurance company, Christy later refused to do so. There was no explanation provided as to why Dr. Chens decision had changed. In fact, Christy, the Office Manager, appears to have now stopped responding to emails and has completely left me hanging on the situation. And that is why I am writing this review. Well...I tried to keep the story short, but I just couldnt. Heres the moral of the story: DONT GO TO CRAIG RANCH FAMILY DENTAL! You will likely regret it, based on my experience. Not only is it possible that you will walk out of their office without the intended procedure even having been performed...but you may have a whole new headache on your hands because of the deceptive way in which decisions are made and changed regarding billing. I will never go back to Dr. Chens office and I regret ever having went there in the first place. Please, dont make the same mistake I did.

I absolutely love this dental office. Everyone is sweet and they are quick to get you in and out. They will work with your schedule and they remind you about your appointment. They answer any and all questions you have clearly and I have been going to this office for years. I would highly recommend anyone to this dental place. Everyone is very prefessional and polite. Honestly I have a hard time with my teeth being messed with by other people but at this office I feel like I am in great hands and I really do mean that eveyones is super sweet. Thank you Craig Ranch Family Dental I couldnt ask for a more professional or better dental place. This is where you should go they are all trustworthy and honest. Thank you, yall are the best ever!

I have been a patient of Dr. Catherine Yang for more than 7 years. She has been so far the best dentist I have ever been to. I was always terrified of going to dentist since I was little. I mean really scared, since I had really bad experience with some dentists. But Dr. Yang has changed my view TOTALLY!! She is bright, sincere and honest. She gives me comfort other dentists could never gave me. Her technique is excellent, diagnosis and treatment is swift and precise. She is my Dentist for life. I encourage anyone going to her, especially who is hesitating going to dentist. You wont be disappointed.

I just left the office an hour ago with a huge SMILE! Dr. Yang was great... we were giggling the entire time during my new filling process. The staff started the good humor as soon as I walked into their office and it continued the entire time. Fun and Dentistry generally are located at opposite ends of the spectrum. Thank you Dr Yang and crew for making my day. Oyeah, my tooth feels GREAT, first class craftsmanship! I am currently enjoying my hot tea for the first time in weeks. Dr. Chen and her staff are really nice people who do honest and wonderful job. My previous experience with other dentists was not that different from going to a mechanic where they look at your insurance and find a way to milk every penny that your insurance is willing to pay. At this place, I truly felt everyone cared about me as an individual and took special steps to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. I really appreciated Dr. Chens pleasant, caring , professional and gentle manner in which she treated me.

Our family has been going to Craig Ranch Family Dental in Frisco, TX for over 5 years. We have always received superior service from everyone there. My son, who is autistic, has been treated with special care and who was once very nervous about going, now finds it no big deal and is happy about how easy it is. I cant say enough good things about everyone who works there.

Dr. Yang is an outstanding dentist. I like that she never recommends a treatment if its not absolutely necessary. She only does the work needed and watches suspicious things very closely. She kinda works with the attitude of, if it aint broke it doesnt need fixing. Me and my pocket book love that attitude.
