Outstanding! Great experience from the time I walked in until I left. Dr. Hallock and his staff were friendly, professional, and very courteous. As a new patient, I had initial x-rays and a routine teeth cleaning. Smooth as butter. Will definitely be going back in 6 months for another check up. A follow up on Hallock Family Dental: The day before yesterday I began to notice some discomfort in one of my teeth. By mid-morning yesterday which was a Friday, it had turned into downright pain & agony. I dropped into Dr. Hallocks office unannounced around 9:30 a.m. in hopes of getting an appointment for this coming Monday. But after explaining my problem to Allie (spelling?), she told me to have a seat and Dr. Hallock could see me in a few minutes. Long story short, after an x-ray and examination it appeared I had fractured the tooth. After Dr. Hallock explained to me my options we agreed the tooth needed to come out. I was in and out of there in less than an hour and the extraction was much simpler than I thought it would be. I expected some discomfort later in the day after the anesthesia wore off, but that never materialized. Had a restful sleep overnight and am feeling absolutely zero pain or discomfort today. Id like to express my appreciation to Dr. Hallock, Marissa, and Allie for deviating from their schedule and taking special care of me. I cant thank you guys enough.

You wont be disappointed. Very personal and personable office staff and Dr. Hallock as well. Kind of like old fashioned customer service in a state of the art facility. Was recommended by a co-worker. My dentist retired and I had tried two or three clinics in the meantime and wasnt satisfied. Theyve gotten too big and youre just a number. Not so here. I wanted to add that I had a problem tooth that was held together by a filling that had been there for years and years. It was failing and EVERY other dentist I went to assured me that I needed a crown AND a root canal. Im ok with that but since I wasnt thrilled with the clinics I was at, I was ok with getting a second opinion (really 3rd). It wasnt painful at all and I wasnt having any trouble with the tooth. Its just that I had gone a year after a piece of the filling fell out. Dr. Hallock said since it wasnt bothering me, there was a possibility that the root was healthy and I wouldnt need a root canal. He sent my X-rays to a specialist to get a 2nd opinion for himself. The specialist was in consensus but, of course, they wouldnt know until they got the old filling out and tested to nerve issues. There were none so I ended up with only needing a crown. And about $1,000 difference. Thats significant to me! Please try this clinic!

I had one of the best dentists when I lived in Utah and lots of bad ones since I moved away. In fact, after a few terrible consultations and teeth cleanings I almost resigned to never letting anyone work on my teeth again. Enter: Dr. Hallock and his awesome staff. He came highly recommended and with good reason! He is honest (I think this deserves to be especially noted since many dentists are not!), kind, knowledgable (we had an awesome chat about the history of dentistry and I was amazed at everything I learned), and gentle. I didnt feel the slightest bit of pain during my cavity filling. I also feel his prices are more honest and fair than any dentist I have ever been to. Everyone in the office, including the sweet receptionist, excels at their job. He clearly knows what he is doing, holds high standards, and will have our business for as long as we live in Texas!

Where do I even begin with this place? They are exceptionally amazing! Providing a whole new level of customer service, professionalism, and dental services that you look forward to! Yes, I said it...I look forward to seeing them and you dont hear that a lot when dental visits are in order. Dr. Hallock and his staff are on top of it, they even greet you by first name as soon as you walk in the door!! They are all very down to earth and personal, and really do care about making you as comfortable as you can possibly be before/during/after your appointment. Dr. Hallock even called me after my appointment to make sure I was okay...and I didnt have a huge procedure done, just replacing a crown! Straight As and 5 Stars from me and my family! -The Walshs

This was my first visit due to switching dental providers. Everything went well. When I made the appointment I filled out my registration info on line and arranged for all records from previous office to be transferred. Very impressed that office staff followed up with me regarding my need for pre-treatment antibiotics the very day the appointment was made even though I was a new patient. Obviously, they reviewed my records and paid attention to my history. I had some fillings done during my appointment and everyone was professional, caring, and competent. The e-mail appointment reminders are very helpful.

Dr Hallock and the staff are awesome! Ive needed quite a few services from tooth whitening and cleanings all the way to permanent implants and every experience has been personable, professional and painless. Ive never experienced a long wait and have been pleased with the results each visit. The office is comfortable and the treatment areas are private with hi-tech televisions that can be positioned overhead so I can comfortably watch TV while they work. :) Most importantly, the staff is very competent and caring. I highly recommend them to any family looking for a great dentist!

I recently moved to McKinney leaving behind the best dentist of 15 years. I did not think I could find anyone that could come close to my previous dentist. I was mistaken. Dr Hallock and staff are entirely professional, fair and friendly. No long waiting time for appointments and the best cleaning and dental work that compares equally or better to my former dentist. Even my extremely picky spouse has started going to Hallock dental and she is even happy!

Excellent service in all levels.. Staff is amazing and professional. Doctor Hallock is excellent. Good place for the complete family. We always feel VIP. Note.. one thing that surprise me A LOT is the follow up call from Dr. Hallock.... very nice from him to call my son and daughter, some hours after fixing their teeth and ask them how they feel... little details making a BIG difference.

Ive been coming here for two years now. Each experience has been great. Dr. Hallock uses newer technology than my last dentist, and he and his staff are so nice. They make sure you are comfortable, and you get to watch TV while theyre cleaning your teeth. I also recommend the birthday cake flavor when you get your teeth cleaned!

My daughter had to get a few cavities filled, and she said Dr. Hallock was awesome! He numbed her up with minimal shots, and after the numbness wore off she felt virtually no discomfort at all in the area where he worked. This was our first visit to his office, but we have found our new family dentist!
