Today (7-13-16) was my first visit to Lakewood Commons Dental Care. Upon arrival, I met a handful of the most delightful people; all of which wore welcoming-smiles. Everyone appeared to be working diligently at one task or another and communicating with warmth and kindness. Typically, I experience severe panic attacks when I go to see a dentist. Within 5-minutes, I realized that I was NOT suffering the trauma associated with a dental visit. Moreover, I felt cared for, immediately; I was not just an account, I felt emotionally-embraced by those around me. Everyone that worked on me was very patient and extremely gentle. In fact, when Dr. Gonzalez administered novocaine, I couldnt even feel the injection. You must understand that I am exceedingly sensitive to pain and if I did NOT experience the pain associated with an oral injection, I would imagine an infant would have experienced NO discomfort, as well (yes, Im a big baby when it comes to pain...lol). Im not even sure where to begin with regard to the extraordinary visit I had. I feel blessed to have stumbled upon their flier, and, I have already referred multiple people to visit their office for any future dental needs. If you are lucky enough to read this review, do YOURSELF a favor, and, get all your dental needs met with this amazing group/family of experts! I am extremely sensitive; emotionally and physically. At this point, I would trust no other provider of dental care, above them! Furthermore, the service(s) they provide are of such high quality, yet, their rates are more than reasonable for the service(s) one receives. Above all things, I believe in being fair... You get what you deserve. If I had anything negative to report, you can bank on the fact that I would have done so. I will leave you with this thought: If you want quality care, a friendly/family atmosphere, and, to be more than just an account, DONT HESITATE TO CONTACT THIS OFFICE! They will welcome you with open arms and in a professional, yet, soothing manner. Personally, I travel 2-hours to see them (each way)...and its worth every bit of the travel time, required. Best of luck to those who choose to go elsewhere..., Ive taken the time to write and post this for YOU! I will re-post more details as they come up...I plan to do many thousands of dollars worth of repairs and updates on the 30-year-old work currently in my mouth. One last thing, I would be remiss not to mention how flexible they appear to be regarding scheduling. MAKE THE CALL! ***** (again; regarding my next 2 visits) Yesterday and today (7-18 & 7-19) I received a considerable amount of dental work. Everyone was extremely, meticulous while performing the required treatment(s). Not only did I receive high-quality, dental updates, I also felt NO PAIN while Dr. Gonzalez injected/drilled/filled 6 additional locations. Moreover, the deep-cleaning as well as the standard cleaning, was performed with such care and concern over my pain threshold, I couldnt have felt safer. Now, its time to consider some rather extensive procedures... Everyone has taken their time to thoroughly explain the dental plan that best suites my needs; as well as, what to expect. The most pleasant surprise would have to be the fact that they are providing much more than just dental work... they have also considered the dangers I face; and, have started me on an antibiotic to help ensure my care. By far, they are the most compassionate group/family of dental care providers that I have ever encountered.

Dr. Gonzalez and everyone who works at Lockwood commons dental is super nice and caring, everytime Ive ever had any issues theyve been able to get me in same day or next day, they are very flexible. The best thing about them is that they truely CARE! Which is very hard to find these days, they dont try to push you to unnessesary treatments, and after I maxed out my insurance 5 months into the year, and still needed extensive work, they worked with me to find an affordable solution to get me out of pain until the new year once my insurance would kick in again. Dr. Gonzalez is so gentle and calm that even when shes putting in the Novocain needle you hardly even feel the needle going in! The entire staff is great and I would recommend anyone to go to Lockwood commons dental if they want a dentist who truely cares for their patients and not just their money!

Knowing nothing about this dental practice except that it was close to my home, I fought the fear and made an appointment for an initial exam and consultation. Now, after much needed dental work I have not hesitated to recommend this practice. I dont think a dentist could ask for a better staff - from the front office manager to the hygienist to the chair side assistants - all of the staff have been patient, calming, gentle yet efficient in their work. Dr. Gonzalez also has a calming, gentle presence and took the time to explain everything to me, answer my questions and offer alternative choices for work I could not afford. I am extremely happy with the work she has done for me. The office is clean and well appointed (again in calming tones). If they were to move their office across town, I would follow. If you need a dentist, call them!

No. Just no. My husband went in for a simple cleaning. We are snowbirds and he had just had his teeth cleaned in Chicago about 5 months prior. This dental practice is a scam. We have dental insurance. And even with that, they charged him over $100 for things that he didnt need and things that they didnt say they were doing. Plus they did x-rays and then let you sit there with them until the "car salesman" woman came in and told him that he needed nearly $2000 worth of dental work and just "sign here" to agree. Needless to say, he ended up with a partial refund, did not need the $2000 of dental work and will never go back. They have more limited hours now, as they should. This operation does not deserve to be in business.

I have always hated the dentist....absolutely terrified of them! I came in for a crown and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff and doctor were amazing!!! They explained everything they were doing and went above and beyond to make certain I was comfortable. Im a cash patient so I got a discount. Their fees are not exhorbitant like most dentists either. I love, love, love this place! Have told everyone I talked to since I left. Thank you all! You have changed my feelings about the whole dental experience. YOU ROCK!!

Dr. Gonzales has been my family dentist for 7+ years and I could not ask for a better person to take care of all of us, she is very honest and compassionate, I truly trust any recommendation she has about our dental health and I really love the fact she is fully bilingual !!! Dr. Gonzalez is such an Amazing caring and calming dentist! My 10yr old daughter has dental anxiety and she did so well here..they made us feel so comfortable and treated her like they actually cared about her. This place is awesome and my family and I have found our new dental home..I recommend this place to everyone I meet.

Everyone is very welcoming and professional. Nicole is always friendly and makes me feel like a valued patient. Marlene does a great job and I always enjoy seeing her. I still come here to get my teeth cleaned even though they arent on my new insurance plan - yes I really do like them that much.
