I saw my sad little dog for the first time at a lake side beach. She was dehydrated, had fleas and a broken leg. It was about 90 degrees out and she was trying to hide from the traffic and the heat. My plan was to take her to a vet, get her fixed up and find her a nice home. I found her on Sunday and made an 8:00 am call to Dr. Pfister on Monday. They got her in immediately and evaluated her condition and performed surgery the next day. Due to the location of the injury and time amount of time it had been broken, it was not a quick and simple process but the Dr. and his staff helped me nurse her back to health. They gave her great care and always spent time with me to explain my options and her treatments. They are very patient with us stressed out owners! She is now a happy, energetic and spoiled princess (the home I found for her turned out to be mine). Many of my friends come to visit the dog and she gets invited out more than I do!

I have used every service at Pfister. I have used their basic animal care, emergency care, grooming, boarding and even their training. What I have found is that all members of their team really love your pet the way you do and their special personalities. I know when I have dropped my dogs off that they will be well cared for. My dogs actually get excited to see the staff members. Both Dr. Pfister and Dr. Steinbeck really helped counsel me through the best choices for the end of one of my dogs lives as well. They really look out for the best interest of the dog. I would recommend them for any pet from pup to senior care. Thanks for all you do Pfister!

Superior service. Staff very friendly. Hospital and exam rooms very tidy and clean. Short wait time to see the doctor you requested. Pets do not experience any stress. Feel pets get more than adequate exam time with doctor and the pet owner gets a thorough explanation of the findings. Although their location is a 45 minute drive for us via interstate, I wouldnt consider going elsewhere.

Theyre the best. All the doctors are so friendly and helpful and seem to really care about the dogs. We foster, so weve used a couple of the "approved" vets on our list but always come back to Pfister even though its a 30 minute drive for us. Really the best pet care you can ask for.

Such a caring and friendly facility. I called on a tuesday at 3:45 pm about my puppys recent health issues and they got me in on the same day. Didnt have to wait long at all. Thorough check-up and diagnosis, and they made me and my pup feel very comfortable. Thanks Pfister!

I think this place is great. I took my beloved St. Bernard there and the staff was just wonderful with her. My only complaint would be that prices seemed a little high in comparison to other vets.
