Every time I take my dog or cat in for routine check-ups, Dr. Stratemeyer seems to suggest an outrageously expensive service. $1000 for a teeth cleaning? I took my dog in for updated shots. Obviously, if the dog needed serious dental work, I would consider it. No extractions - just a cleaning. Its not the first time this has happened. Im not afraid to spend money on my pets - I spent $1200 rescuing a stray cat that had been attacked by a dog. Im just a little suspicious about Dr. Stratemeyers recommendations and if its really in the best interest of my pets or if he just wants some additional service fees to add to his bank account. I will not be back, thats for sure. Save your money and choose a different veterinarian for your pet!

My dog came in vomiting blood massively and was turned away for non appointment! This was an emergency situation!!! This place is inhumane and should be charged with animal cruelty, i will be having an investigation done in hopes to change their policy or have them shut down. Dont call yourself a hospital if all you do is give out dog treats and send them on their way.

My dog has an abscess and needs a professional look, but this veterinarian is unwilling to work with anything but payment up front. Holiday season has emptied my coffers and I tried to work out a way to have my dog seen and pay next week. Would not recommend this place based on their bottom line policies.

I Have used evendale pet hospital for eight years and took five dogs there. I found the best service and a real interest in my dogs. The charges are a lot less expensive than my personal doctor charges. I travel 50 miles round trip just to see this Dr. I give him an excellent rating.
