The internal medicine vets could not come up with a correct diagnosis for my great Dane , everything they suggested she had was wrong ! Luckily the night my son took her at midnite as she was really in bad shape , they took an xray and determined her stomach was bloated ! Dr. Brian Daubs did an emergency surgery on her bloated stomach and saved her life , he is a fantastic surgeon and super knowledgable and extremely communicative and very willing to help us . The internal medicine vets still insisted she had mega esophagus besides bloating , which Dr Daubs had told us there was a chance the inflamed esophagus was caused by the bloating which turned out to be correct ! There is a Dr Fuentes there that even reccomended a neurologist for Bella , as she had difficulty walking day after the surgery , I insisted they give her Rimadyl since Bella had been put in a small cage for 2 days after the surgery and it affected her mobility temporarily and she suffers from arthritis and displesia in her hips and this medication helps a lot and had been effective for Bella before and it again helped her walk the next day so I was correct in ordering the Rimadyl . It was a huge problem for this doctor Fuentes who looks like she is 12 yrs old and thinks she knows everything but to me she is highly imcompetent or very inexperienced and keeps shooting wrong opinions on Bella while she was there and even insisted that she had mega esophagus and mobility issues and that Bella needed a neurologist which was of course totally incorrect as confirmed last Friday as a different doctor (Carro ) took Xrays and her esaphagus is 100 % clear as Dr Daubs (the surgeon ) had told us , her inflamation in the esophagus was related to her bloating ! The clinic is very well equipped, very clean , most of the emplyees are very very nice and well trained . But watch out with some of the doctors like I said before as mostly they have no idea when they give you a prognosis . Again , the surgeon , Brian Daubs is a true professional and very very capable , he saved Bellas life for sure that 7/21 early hours . Today August 9th , Bella not only has no mobility issues , she runs and jumps even after the birds in my backyard the last few days !

I didnt see the love for animals... If you are searching for a Dermatologist Specialist, I do NOT recommend Dr. Rosales. My pet had ringworm (fungus) from a pair of kittens I fostered called Microsporum Canis. After having her seen here, I contacted a Dermatology Specialist with 20+ years of experience from Washington. The WA dermatologist saw the pictures and knew it wasnt bad. He said if she was diagnosed with ringworm then it has to be treated as such, but he told me that Fluconazole doesnt treat this kind of fungus. That our Dermatology specialist should know about this which is why I took my pet again to Dr. Rosales and asked her to change the medication or do a fungal culture again. She declined to do this and wouldnt try to help my doggie with her skin. She told me to do a bunch of unnecessary tests and I saw the Internist because she referred me to her. We already knew it was ringworm by a culture she had done in January. Now, everything else performed: including every type of blood work, x-rays, ultrasound, and skin biopsy still shows that its a chronic ringworm and nothing else. She said she had never seen that. Unbelievable how the skin specialist doesnt even recognize ringworm. By the way she wanted to charge about $1K for a skin biopsy. -------------------------------------------------------------- Clinic billing: do any necessary exams at another clinic with your veterinarian if you can. The prices here are rocket high just because its on Dixie Highway. It seems to be all about Profit. Specialists: I recommend the internist Laura Flores. She wanted to help but knew that it was skin-related, and that it has to bother her. I do NOT recommend the dermatologist Millie Rosales. I have to share my experience to help other doggies. Staff: a lady on the counter looked up-close into my carrier at my doggie while making a bad face. This shouldnt be the kind of people working with dogs. Janet Perales, the practice manager is rude and always ignores your requests when she says shell get back to you ASAP.

I took my bird to the animal hospital last year. I had a cockatiel. One of my cockatiels legs was not moving, so I took him to Southeast Animal Hospital. My bird was seen by the vet. The vet told me that my bird could either be suffering from old age or something neurological. The vet kept imploring me to come back the next day, so that i could see another vet, who was a bird specialist at a nearby animal clinic. The vet gave me an anti-inflammatory and some baby bird food because the vet said that my bird was skinny. The bird that I had was staying at my mothers house. The next week, I went back to my mothers house. Both of my cockatiels legs were now immobile. I decided to go on Google and put in Google my cockatiel legs are not moving. An online vet had previously answer this question for another person. The vet said that it was most likely a tumor that was pressing on a nerve that controls the legs of the cockatiel. My usual vet is not in his office until Tuesday. On Tuesday, I went to my usual vet, and within 2 minutes of touching my cockatiel, he felt a tumor. The tumor was already too large to be safely removed. I had to put down my bird. The vet misdiagnosed my birds condition, which if found the day I went to the animal hospital, probably could have saved my bird. Also, this misdiagnosis shows the lack of knowledge of the vet at this location and the lack ability to research a problem. A lay person, like myself, found out the issue with my bird within a 5 minute Google search of my birds symptoms. It was unexcusable that a vet could not have taken the proper steps to look up the symptoms of my pet, so that i could have had an accurate diagnosis of my bird. I felt like I paid for an inaccurate diagnosis of my bird and an ineffective treatment plan for my bird.

Terry Carro, the doctor you speak with when your pet needs something done apparently is the owner as well. They enticed me to sign a contract by promising me my dog would be operated the very next day even though I told them it would almost leave me with no money in my account and they reassured me it would be okay. Then the next day Terry Carro calls me in the afternoon and tells me I would need to pay another day and for some other tests, pay after hours fees for the operation to take place that same day, or take my dog back. After her yelling at me over the phone for an hour I went to pick up my dog. I already paid over 1100 for the first night and for the treatment my dog usually gets when he has stones. But they didnt even do the treatment, they just had a catheter on him while he was there and they gave him to me in the same condition I brought him in. I later found out why terry carro was so intent on me paying. Her name is everywhere online as the rep for the business meaning she is more than likely the owner and not a salaried employee. If not for the grace of God, my dog could have died from kidney failure because of her companies misrepresentations made to get me to sign the contract.
