First visit was OK but I was a little worried about the cleanliness of the office. To start I was only OK about this place, but still thought some of the staff was unprofessional and lacked the skills to communicate without giving off the vibe I was bothering them. The assistant to the DR had no idea how to answer any questions and while I was waiting for the DR to come back I hear them all in the back room watching YouTube videos. OK? Did you forget there is a patient waiting? Then I have a major medical issue with my dog, so I called and left a message at opening, understanding the DR may not be in yet. However, I called twice in between asking if the DR has reviewed messages. Nope, clearly not. I was told someone would call back. After about 6 hours I called again and still nothing I was told; "well they are at lunch they can call when back". So you are telling me the DR chooses not to review messages from 7AM until after lunch. Hence, I mentioned it was a sense of urgency. I asked if it was that hard to get a return call maybe I should find a new vet and I was told to do just that by the snotty girl that answers the phone. Knowing she would tell the vet I was upset, but I did after 7 hours get a phone call and the vet (Tiffany) was just as rude and after I explained why I called and that I was disappointed in the fact no one called sooner. I was told, "well its the day after a holiday we are obviously busy". OK? Get that so you treat your patients like crap, in office or on the phone? I told her I was able to get another vet on the phone and I wasnt even their patient yet and they were compassionate regarding the situation and willing to take two minutes to speak to me. She (Tiffany) said OK if you tell me the location I will fax your records right over. Are you kidding me? They promote to get rid of you b/c you are upset that no one returned a phone call after 7 hours regarding a major medical concern. Needless to say if they treat people this way I can only imagine how they treat the animals when you are not around. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism and compassion from this office. If there was more I could do I would. I warn anyone do NOT use this location EVER. I see how the person below would be upset as well, I am not shocked though after my two encounters at this office. If they are that quick to get rid of a client b/c you are upset and worried about your pet then this is not the place to go. You would think any animal hospitol would understand the frustration and fear a person has when their pet is sick. TERRIBLE place. So this is an update - b/c after I was told it would be better to have my dogs medical records faxed to the new vet - when I called to do so. I was asked why I hadnt come to pick them up and that they had it all printed. Clearly knew who I was. So the new vet had to then request the records and Kernersville decide to fac back one page of what they did no test results nothing - along with a nasty gram about me. I mean if you spent more time being professional and taking care of your clients maybe you would not have to spend so much time monitoring bad reviews. Then trying to make up stories about what you "offered" - nothing was offered until I waited 7 hours to get a call back. By then the office all gossiped about the angry client so it was pointless to talk to any of them b.c they are all clearly immuture. The only reason I still post here is b/c I do not want anyone else to go through the BS I went through at this place. Not to leave out they blocked me from their Facebook page so I cant post there. Again, if you spent more time on the patients than you do monitor social media for bad reviews or begging current clients to write good reviews maybe you would have a better business. P.S. the new vet I am going to is amazing - I was even told by them they have had heard many clients talk about issues with Kernersville Vet Hospitol and one person even had a family/friend working for Kernersville who left b/c the reputation was terrible. What does that tell you.

I just wanted to take a moment to say THANKS to Dr. Lisa Rosenquist and the Kernersville Veterinary staff for the quality care they provide to our dog, Mollie. She has been the primary vet for her for a number of years now, and most recently found that her liver count was extremely high. She had all the symptoms of Cushing disease in dogs. Mollie is a thirteen year old Dalmation/Pointer mix and had recently started drinking an excessive amount of water and therefore could no longer make it through the night without having to go outside to relieve herself. She also seemed to want to eat more often than usual. Another sign of the Cushing is some swelling in her abdomen and behind her neck. To rule out a possible tumor or cancer, Lisa first referred me to Carolina Veterinary Specialist in Greensboro to have an ultra sound performed for Mollie to see if she had any internal growths/tumors that would cause her liver count to be elevated. We did so and thankfully the results were negative. Therefore we proceeded to do a series of tests for the possibility of the Cushing Disease. The results from the tests proved to be negative as well, so we have changed her diet to a new Scientific dog food in hopes of lowering her liver count and to make her feel better and become healthier. Thus far she has adapted to the new food and is drinking less water. She doesnt seem to be near as hungry and has much more energy at this point. We are pleased that Mollie is doing much better and we will continue follow up with Lisa and monitor her liver count. I am very pleased that Mollie is in the care of Dr. Lisa and would highly recommend Kernersville Veterinary Hospital for your pet or pets. We also have three cats and have been extremely satisfied with the care they have received at this facility.

This is the best place to take your pet! The staff and doctors are all very kind and loving with your pets. They treat them like they are their own pets. I highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital to everyone!! When my baby Tootsie had to be sent to the Rainbow Bridge, Dr. Rosenquist was very caring. She knew how much Tootsie meant to me and she gave me time to say goodbye before I had to let her go. She was crying right along with me when Tootsie passed. They took care of Tootsie her whole life. 11 years. I even got a condolence card from the entire staff. They gave a donation to a no-kill shelter in Tootsies name. How many vets do you know that do that??. I am sorry for the people who gave the bad reviews, but there are some people who wouldnt be happy if you did everything right, they just are mean hearted and like to spew malice. This hospital is the best! I live in Greensboro now, but I still travel to this vet for my dogs. I dont trust anybody else!!
