DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! This place is nothing but a money-grab. I had recently moved to the area. Both of my dogs were sick, so I was trying to find a vet in this area. TAH had no open appts, but Gloria told me I could drop them off in the morning, on the way to work and I could pick them up on the way home. I was sure that one had a UTI and was unsure why my other dog was sick. The first red flag should have been they required a $200 deposit --I told her - but you have my dogs - of course I will pay the bill. Second red flag - I expressed concern that the bill would be less than $200. Gloria told me that would be unlikely. I specifically said that I did not want the "shot-gun approach" used - that I wanted to be consulted about each test being run and that I also wanted the vet to call me. I filled out an extensive questionnaire on each dog, that clearly was not read by the vet. By the afternoon, I had not received a phone call - they had already ran several tests without my consent. When I picked up my dogs, that vet recommended every procedure/medication under the sun (i.e. saying my dogs were infested with fleas - not one flea on either of them; a heartworm test because he coughed once or twice outside, teeth cleaned, etc., etc.) and also buying their dog food. (I buy an expensive 100% natural dog food, so I declined). My one dog did have a UTI - and he sat there for 10 HOURS with no meds to treat it. When I confronted Gloria about it, she justified that it was because I did not want to buy their dog food and the med had to be taken with food. Interestingly, my other dog had not been eating/throwing up and they gave him some TAH food after the anti nausea medication. The final bill was over $500. The vet never attempted to call me. After I told a friend about my experience of TAH, he said they did the same thing on a regular basis to his elderly dad. That vet is far more concerned with making money than treating pets!

I have taken my four legged children to Tomball Animal Hospital for 25+ years. Now my daughter also takes her four legged children to them as well. This is a family owned and operated business. They make you feel like family and are honest in their concern and care of your pets. I trust them completely. Dr. Jana is very loving and caring with your pets, top of her class at A&M, really the BEST! She understands your concerns as she has many pets of her own and has taken in many animals in need and brought them back to health. You will be greeted warmly by Dr. Janas Mother, Ms. Gloria who manages the office and runs a steady ship while greeting patients and their owners for many years. I want to thank everyone at Tomball Animal Hospital for their many years of devoted care for all my pets. Oh and they are open two evenings a week for those of us who cannot get there during the day. That deserves a big thank you! Go see them for all your pet needs. You wont be sorry.

$$$$$$$$$$$I cant believe how much they charge for everything. My dog had an ear infection and by the time I got out of there, the bill was $350!!!! They had this gigantic list of all the things she MUST have. When they went through all the things my dog should be checked for, the bill could have been much higher!!! They want to sell you on just about every thing they have, including their food! I asked them how much they charged for teeth cleaning and the estimate was over $1000!!!! I checked other places and the estimates were from $200 to $500. Every time I have gone, I have felt gouged and taken by this clinic and will never step foot in their door again! BEWARE OF YOUR POCKETBOOK$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I got the impression that money is King at this place!!!

We love TAH!!! we have been bringing our pets to them for about 20 yrs. The staff and Doc Jana are the best. They care about us and our pets. Anytime we have any issues we know our pets are in the best of care. We cant thank them enough for all that they have done for us over the yrs. I would highly recommend TAH if you are trying to find a place that treats you like family!

We recently had to bring our sweet Duchess to be treated for a snake bite. We walked in 30 minutes before they closed, and still the service was top notch! We had to take our dog in for a snake bite. They office staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. As soon as we walked in the door they took her back for an exam. We were in and out in no time with our baby girl feeling and looking better. I highly recommend Tomball Animal Hospital.

Great staff who cares about my fur baby! Our regular vet referred us here because it seemed he had a torn ACL. The dr here was able to get him in and do surgery the same day! We wont know for 6 more weeks if it was a success but I will highly recommend anyone to this vet!

I took my dog in for a Rabies shot absolutely healthy and they give him a list of other shots which I did not request and after a return visit at almost $1000 he still has no Rabies shot. I dont think these people have ears. Get your bank loan in order before you go here.

STAY AWAY! RIP OFF! After charging $52 to evaluate my dog, they wanted to charge $652 for abscess tooth and repair oronasal fistula. My dog had neither problem! Took to another vet, they worked over his teeth, pulled 2 and only charged $260! CROOKS!

This vet office is very friendly! The staff is so sweet and knew my name in my 2nd visit! The office has that homey feel that I look for at new vets when I move. The staff was gentle with my fur babies and got us exactly what we needed.
